Kōpuahingahinga Island

Pararēkau Island is an island within the Pahurehure Inlet of the Manukau Harbour in Auckland, New Zealand. Pararēkau and Kōpuahingahinga Island are together known as the Hingaia Islands. It is connected to the mainland by a causeway which runs across Kōpuahingahinga Island. At around 20 hectares (49 acres) in size, it is the second largest island in the Manukau Harbour.

Hingaia is a rural coastal suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is located on the shores of the Pahurehure Inlet, to the southwest of the Papakura Town Centre.

The Southern Path is a 4.5km off-road shared path linking Takanini and Papakura. The route runs along State Highway 1. It opened in 2021 and was built part of the Southern Corridor Improvements project.

Conifer Grove is an upper-middle class suburb of Auckland, in northern New Zealand. Located on the eastern shores of the Pahurehure Inlet, on the Manukau Harbour, under authority of the Auckland Council. The suburb makes up the western side of the Takanini urban area and is in the Manurewa-Papakura ward of Auckland City. The suburb is known for its tree-lined streets, bay views, and until 2018 its border with the Manukau Golf Course. It includes the recent Waiata Shores subdivision developed by Fletcher Living.

Pahurehure is a suburb of Auckland, in northern New Zealand. It is located on the south-eastern shores of the Manukau Harbour, under the authority of the Auckland Council. The suburb makes up the southernmost part of the Auckland urban area.

The Pahurehure Inlet is an inlet of the Manukau Harbour of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It is one of the three major inlets of the Manukau Harbour, alongside the Māngere Inlet and Waiuku Inlet.

The Papakura Stream, also known as the Papakura Creek, is a major stream in South Auckland, in the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows south-west from near the Brookby to the Pahurehure Inlet of the Manukau Harbour. The stream forms the border between Manurewa and Papakura.

Takanini (sometimes spelled Takaanini) is a southern suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is located on the shores of the Pahurehure Inlet, 28 kilometres southeast of the Auckland CBD. The suburb is home to a Fonterra milk plant, the Addison housing development, as well as international horse breeding facilities throughout the area. The two major shopping centres in Takanini are Takanini Town Centre and Southgate Shopping Centre.

Rosehill College is a New Zealand co-educational state secondary school located in the Rosehill area of Papakura in the Auckland region. The college opened on 3 February 1970, and is now the largest secondary school in the area. Located approximately 31 km south of Auckland CBD by road, on the southern edge of the Auckland metropolitan area, the college admits students residing on the western side of the Southern Auckland Railway Line in Papakura and caters the Rosehill, Pahurehure, and Opaheke area as well as students from surrounding rural areas including Te Hihi, Karaka, Drury, Ponga, Runciman, Ramarama, Ararimu, Kingseat, Waiau Pa, and Clark's Beach. The campus is also situated next to Rosehill Intermediate.

Rosehill Intermediate is a decile 3 school situated in Papakura, Auckland, catering for Years 7 and 8 students. Located approximately 30 minutes south of Auckland CBD, on the southern edge of the Auckland metropolitan area, the school draws students from a large number of schools around the area including Papakura and Manurewa. It has a growing roll and most students move on to nearby Rosehill College. The school also hosts two satellite classes for Rosehill Special School. The school community is diverse, with 31% of students identifying as Māori, and another 14% of other Pacific heritage, with approximately 16 different languages spoken in students' homes.Rosehill Intermediate's school motto is Whaia Kia Kaha – To Seek With Vigour. Wattle Downs is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The suburb is located in the Wattle farm peninsula of the Manukau Harbour and is in the Manurewa-Papakura ward, one of the thirteen administrative divisions of Auckland Council. It is 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of the Auckland CBD and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of Manukau city centre. The closest town centre is Manurewa. It also includes the area of Wattle Cove and Mahia Park.
