Lock and Dam No. 11

The Eagle Point Bridge was a very narrow two-lane automobile bridge that connected urban Dubuque, Iowa, and rural Grant County, Wisconsin. It was part of the US 61/US 151 route, and was a toll bridge. After the new Dubuque–Wisconsin Bridge was built in 1983, the Eagle Point Bridge was torn down. At the end, the toll was ten cents, both ways, collected on the Iowa side. The bridge was located about 900 feet (270 m) south of Lock and Dam No. 11, at the northern edge of Rhomberg Avenue in Dubuque, and connected to Eagle Point Road on the opposite side of the river. It was about one mile (1.6 km) north of the present bridge. In 1968, the highway designation was removed from the bridge and a four-ton load limit was put in place. The bridge was still structurally sound after the new bridge was built, leading some to ask the bridge be kept open as a pedestrian or special use bridge, but the state of Iowa still tore the bridge down.Several years after the demolition of the bridge, a restaurant known as the Tollbridge Inn was constructed at what was the Iowa end of the bridge. The restaurant operated for a number of years, until it was torn down to make way for future development.The bridge was extensively documented in 1982 for the Historic American Engineering Record, archived at the Library of Congress. The documentation includes 81 black-and-white photos and 39 data pages detailing construction and history of the bridge.

Eagle Point Park is a 164-acre (0.66 km2) public park located in the northeast corner of the city of Dubuque, Iowa, United States. Eagle Point is mostly situated on a bluff that overlooks the Mississippi River and the Lock and Dam No. 11. The park is owned and operated by the city of Dubuque. It was listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. At the time of its nomination it contained 34 resources, which included 14 contributing buildings, seven contributing sites, five structures, five objects, two non-contributing buildings, and two non-contributing structures.

O'Leary Lake is a lake near the Mississippi River in Grant County, Wisconsin. It is a popular fishing spot for the Dubuque Metropolitan Area. The lake contains panfish, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass.

The Mathias Ham House is a 19th-century house in Dubuque, Iowa that is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located at the intersection of Shiras and Lincoln Avenues, near the entrances to Eagle Point Park and Riverview Park.

Q Casino (formerly Mystique and Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino) is a casino located in Dubuque, Iowa. It also was a greyhound race track until racing ceased there on May 15, 2022. The facility is operated by the non-profit Dubuque Racing Association, its license holder. It is a member of the Iowa Gaming Association, and shares a gaming license with the Diamond Jo Casino, also in Dubuque. Beginning operations on June 1, 1985, the track became a full-service casino following the introduction of table games in 2005. Q Casino is located on Chaplain Schmitt Island, near the Mississippi River. The casino, along with attractions in the Port of Dubuque and Downtown Dubuque, have helped to create a large and growing tourism market in Dubuque.

The Dubuque–Wisconsin Bridge is a steel bowstring arch automobile bridge connecting Dubuque, Iowa, with still largely rural Grant County, Wisconsin, over the Mississippi River. It is one of two automobile bridges in the Dubuque area, the other being the Julien Dubuque Bridge, which is located about three miles (4.8 km) south. The bridge is a four lane, limited access bridge and is part of US Highway 61/US Highway 151 (US 61/US 151). This bridge replaced the older Eagle Point Bridge that previously served as the connection between Dubuque and Wisconsin.

Licensed to serve the Dubuque, Iowa, United States, area, the station is owned by Radio Dubuque, Inc., and features programming from Fox News Radio. Its transmitter is located across the Mississippi River from the northern part of downtown Dubuque in southwestern Grant County, Wisconsin. KATF formerly had the call letters KFMD. Includes Katfm in the morning with Lisa Bennett, midday's with Misty Woolf and afternoons with Mike Field. Radio Dubuque also hosts the Dubuque, Iowa 4th of July celebration, and many local events such as: Chili-cookoffs, outdoor concerts, and live broadcasts. KATF is the most powerful radio station in the Dubuque market and while all Dubuque radio stations cover the tri-states of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, KATF's signal can also be heard in the far southeastern corner of Minnesota, thereby adding a fourth state to the fringes of the FM station's coverage area.

The Bee Branch Creek, formerly known as Couler Creek, is a tributary of the Mississippi River found in Dubuque, Iowa. The creek starts in the west of Dubuque before flowing into the Couler Valley and then into the downtown, flowing through multiple detention basins along the way. Due to the creek's involvement in many disasters, particularly floods, the Bee Branch Creek has become an interest for Dubuque. After restoration projects, the creek has become a daylighted stream with parks and trails along its banks. It has been estimated to have prevented millions of dollars in damages. The Bee Branch has also been involved with numerous ecological projects. Despite being recently daylighted, the Iowa DNR diagnosed the creek with a healthy ecosystem.
