Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital, also known as St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, is a private, for-profit, 449-bed acute-care hospital on the east side of Tucson, Arizona. St. Joseph's Hospital is a level 1 trauma center and is part of Carondelet Health Network, owned by Tenet Healthcare, and has sister hospitals in Arizona St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Marana Hospital in Marana and Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales. Rincon High School is a public high school in Tucson, Arizona. The school serves about 1,100 students in grades 9 to 12 in the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). Since 1985, the campus has been shared with University High School, a separate accelerated institution. Courses from each school can be combined, and athletics and fine arts are combined under the Rincon/University(RUHS) name. The two schools do field separate teams for academic competitive events. It opened its doors in 1958.

University High School (UHS) is an accelerated public high school located in Tucson, Arizona. Originally known as Special Projects High School (SPHS), University High School is in the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). The mission statement of UHS identifies it as "a special function high school which serves students who are academically focused and intellectually gifted and provides curriculum and social support not offered in the comprehensive high school."

The Aldea Linda Residential Historic District is a 75 acres (30 ha) historic district in Tucson, Arizona, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. The listing included 15 contributing buildings.The area was developed around 1947 by future state governor Sam Goddard. It has 22 large lots with houses set back from street. It includes the entire Aldea Linda subdivision, including the 4700-5000 blocks of E. Calle Jabali, E. 22nd St., and the 1100 block of S. Swan Rd. Its 2009 National Register nomination describes it as:an absolutely unique and precious enclave .... The neighborhood combines high quality, post-World War II residences, one art school, a church complex, and vacant land in a natural, creosote desert setting. In the midst of dense urban development, Aldea Linda's uniqueness comes from its small size, intact deed restrictions, curvilinear cul-de-sac layout, large lots, creosote desert setting, and post- World War II architecture. Its period of significance is 1947-1964. Aldea Linda's land was acquired in 1946 by Samuel P. Goddard, Jr. (future governor of Arizona) and his wife, Julia Hatch Goddard. Today's subdivision contains very good examples of prevalent post-World War II contemporary styles, the Ranch and Modern, and a few, regionally appropriate, Sonoran Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival style buildings.

Palo Verde High Magnet School is located at 1302 South Avenida Vega in Terra Del Sol, Tucson, Arizona. The school has been open since 1962. Its current principal is Eric Brock. The school's name comes from the surrounding Palo Verde trees, native to Tucson. Its mascot is the Titan and the school colors are royal blue and gold. Trail Dust Town is a historical outdoor shopping center located in Tucson, Arizona. Although Trail Dust Town operates as a for-profit shopping mall, on its grounds exists a great number of historical artifacts, including an Allan Herschell merry-go-round which was manufactured in 1954 that still contains its original horses and benches.

Tucson Medical Center (TMC), licensed at 641 beds, is a locally governed nonprofit regional hospital in Tucson, Arizona. The medical center treats about 30,000 inpatients and 120,000 outpatients annually as well as around 6,000 births. TMC holds designation as a Neuroscience Center of Excellence, certification as a Primary Stroke Center and accreditation as a Chest Pain Center. TMC is the only hospital in Southern Arizona to be chosen for the Thomson Reuters list of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in the US for 2011. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, and is also a member of the Mayo Clinic Network.

Fort Lowell was a United States Army post active from 1873 to 1891 on the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona. Fort Lowell was the successor to Camp Lowell, an earlier Army installation. The Army chose a location just south of the confluence of the Tanque Verde and Pantano creeks, at the point where they form the Rillito River, due to the year-round supply of water during that period. The Hohokam natives had chosen the site centuries earlier, presumably for the same reason. To this day, shards of Hohokam pottery can still be found in the area. The Army claimed a military reservation that encompassed approximately eighty square miles and extended east toward the Rincon Mountains.
