The Exchange Arcade is a shopping mall in Cornhill in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. The structure, which was commissioned as a corn exchange, is a Grade II listed building.

Empowerment is a public sculpture in the centre of the city of Lincoln in England. Designed by the artist Stephen Broadbent, sponsored by Alstom UK Ltd, Lincoln Co-operative Society, and other Lincoln businesses and organisations, donated to Lincoln City Council.The sculpture was completed in 2002, unveiled on 2 February, and spans the River Witham in Lincoln's City Square. It takes the form of two aluminium-and-steel human figures reaching to each other across the water. The design is intended to echo the shape of turbine blades, in recognition of Lincoln's industrial heritage, which transform into dynamic figures that reach out to empower one another, just as the blades empower one another within the turbine.The statue was commissioned with the intent to create a bold and striking sculpture to celebrate the millennium, that spans the River Witham in Lincoln’s city centre and act as a focal point in the space.At 16 m (17 yd) tall, Empowerment is the largest sculpture in Lincolnshire. Increasingly, it is now used alongside more traditional images of Lincoln — the cathedral and castle — as a recognisable 'tourist emblem' of the city, similar to the adoption of the Angel of the North as a symbol of North East England.

Lincoln railway station (previously Lincoln Central) serves the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway. East Midlands Railway provides the majority of services from the station, with other services being provided by Northern and London North Eastern Railway. The station is part of the PlusBus scheme, where train and bus tickets can be bought together at a saving. Lincoln Central bus station, the city's main bus station, is within a couple of minutes' walk from the railway station and is located to the north-east of the station and easily accessed via a pedestrian crossing and pedestrianised plaza.

The Guildhall and Stonebow, Lincoln, has been the meeting place of Lincoln City Council from Medieval times to the present. The term Stonebow, which is derived from the Danish word stennibogi, indicates a stone archway that visitors entering the city from the south, along the High Street, would have passed through. It is a Grade I listed building. Lincoln City Hall, a 20th-century building on Orchard Street, provides further accommodation for the city council.

The Lincoln Transport Hub is a transport interchange located in Lincoln city centre in Lincolnshire, England. It connects Lincoln railway station with the Central Bus Station across a pedestrianised plaza on St Mary's Street. There is also a 1,000-space multi-storey car park. Lincoln Transport Hub was scheduled to open in December 2017, however it was decided that the accompanying car park (originally planned to open in January 2018) should be opened first and swapped the opening schedule. The new bus station opened on 28 January 2018.

St Benedict's Church, Lincoln is an ancient church in Lincoln, England which is mentioned in 1107 and before the English Civil War was the Lincoln civic church. It was extensively destroyed in the Civil War, and was only partially restored. The tower was re-built imitating the other late Anglo-Saxon towers in Lincoln. All that survives is the present nave, which was the chancel of the former church and the chapel to the north built by Robert Tattershall in 1378. The church's bell known as Old Kate, was cast in 1585 and paid for by the Lincoln barber surgeons company. The church was closed in 1931 and demolition was proposed. However, following a public outcry, the church was saved as the result of an appeal and renovation work undertaken. It was the headquarters of the Lincoln Diocese Mothers' Union but closed in 2018. In June 2020 it became the base for Lincoln Street Pastors [1] who go out on Saturday and Friday nights to listen, help and care for all those out in the City of Lincoln during the night time economy hours. In April 2022 Unicorn Tree Books [2] moved in to become the Bookshop in St Benedict's when they had to relocate from Lincoln Central Market due to its closure.

St Peter at Arches, Church, Lincoln was an ancient church in Lincoln, England, that was demolished and re-built c. 1720–24 by either Francis or William Smith of Warwick. The church was sited just to the north of the junction of the High Street and Silver Street and close to the Guildhall and Stonebow, Lincoln.

High Street in Lincoln, England extends from the St Catherine's roundabout and ends approximately 1.2 miles further north at The Strait. The historic High Street has evolved through many changes over its 2000 year history, encompassing Roman roads and settlement, medieval buildings, markets, places of worship, civic buildings, bridges, the arrival of the railways and heavy industry. The greatest concentration of listed buildings is north of the railway station in the pedestrianised area where most of the city's commercial, retail and cultural areas are located. South of the railway station there are fewer listed buildings the street is a busy urban road numbered the B1262.

Lincoln is a constituency in Lincolnshire, England represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Karl McCartney, a Conservative Party politician.Since the split of the seat City of York with effect from the 2010 general election, Lincoln has been the oldest constituency in continuous existence in the UK – established in 1265. Lincoln was a bellwether between 1974 and 2017. The seat bucked the national Conservative victory in 1970 by electing a Labour MP, as it did in 2017. The seat has been considered relative to others an ultra-marginal seat, as well as a swing seat, since 2005 as its winner's majority has not exceeded 6.9% of the vote since the 12.5% majority won in 2005 and the seat has changed hands three times since that year.
