Keikyū Higashi-kanagawa Station

Higashi-Kanagawa Station (東神奈川駅, Higashi-Kanagawa-eki) is a junction passenger railway station located in Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Kanagawa-juku (神奈川宿, Kanagawa-juku) was the third of the fifty-three stations of the Tōkaidō. It was located in Kanagawa-ku in the present-day city of Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It was close to Kanagawa Port. Many of its historical artifacts were destroyed by the Great Kantō earthquake and bombings during World War II.

Kanagawa-ku (神奈川区) is one of the 18 wards of the city of Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 2010, the ward had an estimated population of 230,401 and a density of 9,650 persons per km2. The total area was 23.88 km2.
