SAP Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Mannheim, Germany. It is primarily used for ice hockey and handball, and is the home arena of the Adler Mannheim ice hockey club and the Rhein-Neckar Löwen handball club. Inaugurated in 2005, the arena has a capacity of up to 15,000 people. More than a hundred concerts and convention events are hosted at the arena annually. The SAP Arena is one of the largest in Germany and one of the most high-tech in Europe. The arena is named after its sponsor SAP. In late December 2022, the MLP Academics Heidelberg played against FC Bayern Munich (basketball) there. The Academics drew their record crow of 10,454 visitors. For each ticket sold, a donation was made to the Courage Foundation for the support of chronically ill children.

Mannheim City Airport (IATA: MHG, ICAO: EDFM) (City-Airport Mannheim in German, formerly Mannheim-Neuostheim/Neuhermsheim) is a minor regional airport serving the German city of Mannheim. It is mainly used for general aviation.

Neuostheim/Neuhermsheim is a suburb of the city of Mannheim, Germany, composed of Neuostheim and Neuhermsheim and is considered to be one of the more attractive neighbourhoods of Mannheim. It is located 3.5 km (2.2 mi) east of the city centre. It lies on the River Neckar and an important lock on the Neckar Canal is situated between Neuostheim and the suburb of Feudenheim. Neuostheim is well connected to the city centre and to Heidelberg by tram, bus and highways. As Neuostheim is the location of Mannheim City Airport, several citizens´ groups have been fighting for years for better noise protection.

The May Market (German: Maimarkt) is the largest regional consumer exhibition of Germany, which always begins on last Saturday in April and lasts for eleven days. The traditionally last day is therefore called May Market Tuesday. It takes place at the Maimarktgelände in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg.

The Maimarktgelände (May Market Grounds) is an exhibition site located in Mannheim, Germany, which covers a surface of 210,000 m². It hosts the annual Mannheim May Market as well as open-air concerts and other events. Starting in April each year, 47 exhibition halls with a surface of 42,000 m² are developed on the apron of the site. With approximately 1,500 exhibitors and around 400,000 visitors annually, the Maimarktgelände is a major German regional exhibition. In 1989, the 12,500-capacity Maimarkthalle (7500 m²) was built as the first permanent exhibition hall, which is used all year round for concerts. The area has good transport connections because the Mannheim motorway interchange is nearby and the A 656 and the B 38a can be reached directly. The Mannheim Arena/Maimarkt stop on the Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn is 1,000 m away. The park area enclosure has 12,000 parking bays and on Sundays and holidays parts of the neighboring Mannheim City Airport is available with around a further 8,000 parking bays.

The Mannheim Rangierbahnhof (German for Mannheim marshalling yard) is a marshalling yard in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is the second-largest marshalling yard in Germany after the Maschen Marshalling Yard.

Carl-Benz-Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Mannheim, Germany. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of SV Waldhof Mannheim. In 2008, it also hosted TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the first half of that club's first season in the Bundesliga, until Hoffenheim's new stadium opened in January 2009. The stadium is able to hold 27,000 people and was built in 1994. It has floodlights, but no Under-soil heating. The architect was Folker Fiebiger. The Mannheim stadium was completed in 1927 on the site of today's Carl Benz stadium. It had a track and field track, held 35,000 spectators and played an international friendly match between Germany and Switzerland in 1929 that Germany won by 7–1.

The Technoseum (former name State Museum of Technology and Work, German: Landesmuseum für Technik und Arbeit) is a technology museum in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with displays covering the industrialisation of the south-western regions of the country. The museum building was designed by the Berlin architect Ingeborg Kühler. Its planning and construction period lasted from 1982 to 1990.

The Luisenpark is a municipal park in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on the left bank of the Neckar river and has an area of 41 hectares. The lower Luisenpark (Unterer Luisenpark) is the oldest part which is conserved as a historic garden. The upper Luisenpark (Oberer Luisenpark) includes various attractions, such as a greenhouse, an arboretum, a Chinese garden, "gondoletta" boats, and a variety of facilities for children. Along with the Herzogenriedpark (33 hectares; located on the other side of Neckar) the upper Luisenpark is operated by the non-profit Stadtpark Mannheim GmbH.

The Fernmeldeturm Mannheim is a 217.8-metre-high (715 ft) concrete telecommunication tower with an observation deck in Mannheim, Germany. It was designed by the architects Heinle, Wischer und Partner and built from 1973 and 1975. It contains transmission facilities for VHF radio services, microwave communications, and omnidirectional radio services. A glassed observation deck and a revolving restaurant at a height of 120 metres allow a nice view over Mannheim and the surrounding area. The tower is a modern landmark of the city of Mannheim.In December 1994 a German SAR Army helicopter returning from a medical patient transfer mission collided with the top of the tower and fell to the ground. The crew of four people died instantly. Parts of the top of the tower were disconnected and also fell to the ground.
