Sanduo Shopping District

The Cathay Central Plaza, formerly known as Wang-Xiang Central Plaza (Chinese: 國泰中央廣場), is a 30-story, 135 metres (443 ft) skyscraper office building completed in 2000 in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Designed by Liu Associates, this building has a triangular footprint and is topped by a pyramid. It is owned by the Mountain Group, which also owns the Shr-Hwa Financial Center in Kaohsiung. As of February 2021, it is the 24th tallest building in Kaohsiung.

Sanduo Shopping District is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The station is named after the Sanduo Shopping District.

The Asia Plaza (Chinese: 亞洲企業中心; pinyin: Yàzhōu qì yè zhōngxīn) is a vision supertall skyscraper that will rise 431 m (1,414 ft) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The building will comprise 103 floors above ground as well as 7 basement levels. It is a part of the Asia Plaza Tri-Tower Complex, that comprise three buildings: the 103-storey Asia Plaza, the 49-storey Far Eastern Ding Ding Hotel and the 18-storey Mega'21 Far Eastern Shopping Complex, of which only the shopping complex was completed in 2001.The building was proposed in 1997 and was originally scheduled to start construction in 2004 upon the completion of the Mega'21 Far Eastern Shopping Complex. It was planned to be completed in 2008. However, the development schedule has been delayed several times, and construction is currently scheduled to start in 2021 and be completed in 2024. After the building is complete, Asia Plaza will surpass 85 Sky Tower to become the tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung City and the second tallest building in Taiwan.

The Farglory THE ONE (Chinese: 遠雄THE ONE) is a skyscraper located in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the fourth tallest building in Taiwan and the second tallest in Kaohsiung. The height of building is 267.6 m, the floor area is 166,415.76m2, and it comprises 68 floors above ground, as well as 7 basement levels. It was completed at the end of 2019.

The Asia-Pacific Financial Plaza (Chinese: 宏總亞太財經廣場; pinyin: Hóng zǒng yàtài cáijīng guǎngchǎng) is a 169.8 metres (557 ft) tall skyscraper in Lingya District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was completed in 1992 and was designed by Hoy Architects & Associates. It was the first building in Taiwan to reach a height of 150 m.

The Kaohsiung Main Public Library (Chinese: 高雄市立圖書館; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shìlì Túshūguǎn) is the central library of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the main library of the Kaohsiung Public Library System and opened in November 2014. The building is located in Xinguang Road, opposite to the Tuntex Sky Tower.

The Han-Hsien International Hotel (traditional Chinese: 寒軒國際大飯店; simplified Chinese: 寒轩国际大饭店; pinyin: Hánxuān Guójì Dà Fàndiàn), also known as Linden Hotel, is a 160.3 metres (526 ft) tall skyscraper located in Lingya District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was completed in 1994 and was designed by Kris Yao. The building is 42-stories tall and has a total floor space of 69,815 m2. When it was completed in 1994, it was the third tallest buildings in Kaohsiung at the time after Chang-Gu World Trade Center and Asia-Pacific Financial Plaza.

85 Sky Tower (Chinese: 高雄85大樓; pinyin: Gāoxióng 85 Dàlóu; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ko-hiông 85 Tōa-lâu), formerly known as the T & C Tower or Tuntex Sky Tower, is an 85-story skyscraper in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The structure is 347.5 m (1,140 ft) high. An antenna increases the pinnacle height to 378 m (1,240 ft). Constructed from 1994 to 1997 by the now-defunct Tuntex Group, it is the tallest building in Kaohsiung, and the 2nd tallest in Taiwan after the Taipei 101. As of 2023, the building is almost entirely unoccupied except for a few condominiums (some subleased as short-term rentals) and offices between the 12th to 35th floors. Many floors have not been used in decades, and their conditions have become dirty and run-down. When the building first opened, it once housed a department store, indoor amusement park, five-star hotel, observatory, steakhouse and disco, VIP club and spa, and other amenities. The building was designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners and Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, and has an unusual 'prong' design with two separate 39-floor sections, which merge into a single central tower rising to a spire. This unique design leaves a substantial space below the central part of the tower. The design was inspired by the Chinese character KAO (高) meaning tall, and also part of the city's name. John W. Milton was Project Director on behalf of Turner International Inc. (New York), a subsidiary of Turner Construction. There is no 44th floor in the building due to Tetraphobia), so the 43rd floor connects directly to the 45th floor; the 57th floor, a mechanical floor, is numbered 57A. The pyramid shaped crown is the equivalent of three stories high and is hence marketed as 83–85 to arrive at a round number. There is no elevator access to floors above 80.

The Cathay Shi-Wei Financial Center (Chinese: 國泰四維財經大樓) is a 27-story, 126.2 metres (414 ft) skyscraper office building completed in 2001 in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The plan of Cathay Shi-Wei Financial Center is a horizontal T shape, forming a square and rectangular structure respectively. The space connected by the two areas serves as the building's elevator equipment, stairs, and logistics equipment. The building is covered with pink tiles and reinforced glued heat-insulating glass. Located in close proximity to the Kaohsiung City Government, the building houses the Kaohsiung branch of Mitsubishi Electric.

The Next 100, also known as Kuo Cheng 2020, (Chinese: 國城定潮; pinyin: Guó chéng dìng cháo) is a residential skyscraper located in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The height of the building is 163 m (535 ft), with a floor area of 83,014 m2 (893,560 sq ft), and it comprises 41 floors above ground, as well as four basement levels. The construction of the building began in 2015 and it was completed in 2021.

Shihjia is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT in Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The station is a three-level, underground station with an island platform and four exits. It is 188 meters long and is located at the intersection of Jhongshan 3rd Rd. and Mincyuan 2nd Rd.

Kaohsiung (Mandarin Chinese: [káʊɕjʊ̌ŋ] ; Wade–Giles: Kao¹-hsiung²; Pinyin: Gāoxióng), officially Kaohsiung City, is a special municipality located in southern Taiwan. It ranges from the coastal urban center to the rural Yushan Range with an area of 2,952 km2 (1,140 sq mi). Kaohsiung City has a population of approximately 2.73 million people as of October 2023 and is Taiwan's third most populous city and largest city in southern Taiwan.Since it was founded in the 17th century, Kaohsiung has grown from a small trading village into the political and economic centre of southern Taiwan, with key industries such as manufacturing, steel-making, oil refining, freight transport and shipbuilding. Kaohsiung International Airport is the second busiest airport in number of passengers in Taiwan. The city is well-connected to other major cities by high speed and conventional rail, as well as several national freeways. It also hosts the Republic of China Navy fleet headquarters and its naval academy. More recent public works such as Pier-2 Art Center, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts and Kaohsiung Music Center have been aimed at growing the tourism and cultural industries of the city.
