Workers' Stadium

The original Workers' Stadium (simplified Chinese: 工人体育场; traditional Chinese: 工人體育場; pinyin: Gōngrén Tǐyùchǎng), often abbreviated as Gongti or Gong Ti (simplified Chinese: 工体; traditional Chinese: 工體; pinyin: Gōng Tǐ), was a multi-purpose stadium in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. The stadium was built in 1959, and was renovated in 2004 (the concrete structure strengthened, a new rotating display screen and energy-saving devices installed). The stadium was closed for a complete rebuild in 2020 and reopened on 15 April 2023 as a new stadium built on the original site. It had a capacity of 65,094 and covered a land area of 350,000 square metres (3,800,000 sq ft). It was one of the Ten Great Buildings constructed in 1959 for the tenth anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

Workers' Stadium station (Chinese: 工人体育场站; pinyin: Gōngrén Tǐyùchǎng Zhàn, also known as Gongrentiyuchɑng Zhɑn) is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 17 of Beijing Subway, of which the Line 17 part opened on 30 December 2023 and the Line 3 part will open in 2024. The Line 17 station will be the southern terminus of the northern section of the line until it connects to the south section at Shilihe.

Chaoyang District (Chinese: 朝阳区; pinyin: cháoyángqū) is an urban district of Beijing. It borders the districts of Shunyi to the northeast, Tongzhou to the east and southeast, Daxing to the south, Fengtai to the southwest, Dongcheng, Xicheng, and Haidian to the west, and Changping to the northwest. Chaoyang is home to the majority of Beijing's many foreign embassies, the well-known Sanlitun bar street, as well as Beijing's growing central business district. The Olympic Green, built for the 2008 Summer Olympics, is also in Chaoyang. Chaoyang extends west to Chaoyangmen on the eastern 2nd Ring Road, and nearly as far east as the Ximazhuang toll station on the Jingtong Expressway. Within the urban area of Beijing, it occupies 470.8 square kilometres (181.8 sq mi), making it the central city's largest district, with Haidian second. As of November 2020, Chaoyang had a total population of 3,452,460, making it the most populous district in Beijing. The district has jurisdiction over 24 subdistrict offices and 19 area offices. Chaoyang is also home to Silk Street, Bainaohui Computer Shopping Mall, Alien Street (老番街市场), and many other market areas, shopping malls, and restaurant strips.

The Workers' Gymnasium (official name) is an indoor arena located west of the Workers' Stadium in Beijing, China. It was inaugurated in 1961 for the 26th World Table Tennis Championships. It hosted the boxing events at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the Judo events at the 2008 Summer Paralympics. It is one of 11 Beijing-based venues to be renovated and upgraded for the Olympics. The arena has a seating capacity of 13,000.

The Temple of the Eastern Peak in Beijing (simplified Chinese: 北京东岳庙; traditional Chinese: 北京東嶽廟; pinyin: Běijīng Dōngyuè Miào) is a Taoist temple in the Chaowai area, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. The temple is dedicated to the Great Deity of the Eastern Peak (simplified Chinese: 东岳大帝; traditional Chinese: 東嶽大帝; pinyin: Dōngyuèdàdì). "Eastern Peak" is the cosmological name of Mount Tai, the easternmost and holiest of the Five Sacred Mountains of China. Founded during the Yuan dynasty, the Eastern Peak Temple is the largest temple of Zhengyi Taoism in Beijing and protected as a national cultural spot. The temple also hosts the Beijing Folk Customs Museum.

Beijing Chaoyang Hospital (simplified Chinese: 北京朝阳医院; traditional Chinese: 北京朝陽醫院; pinyin: Běijīng Cháoyáng Yīyuàn) is a hospital in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is subordinate to the Beijing Municipal Healthcare Bureau. It is the third clinical hospital of the medical school of Capital Medical University. It has two campuses, the Main Campus and the Jingxi Campus, with a combined floor space of 210,000 square metres (2,300,000 sq ft) sitting on an area of 102,800 square metres (1,107,000 sq ft). The hospital has 3,600 medical and support staff members and room for 1,910 patients.The hospital was founded on February 24, 1958.

Dongzhimen Subdistrict (Chinese: 东直门街道; pinyin: dōngzhímén jiēdào) is a district on the northeastern side of Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. As of 2020, the subdistrict's total population is 46,712.The subdistrict got its current name from Dongzhimen (Chinese: 东直门; lit. 'East Straight Gate'), a gate of the Beijing city wall that used to exist in this area.

Taikoo Li Sanlitun (Chinese: 三里屯太古里; pinyin: Sānlǐtún Tàigǔlǐ), formerly Sanlitun Village, is a shopping center in the Sanlitun area of the Chaoyang District in Beijing, China. It comprises 19 buildings on two sites that are a few minutes walk from each other. Besides retail space, the project includes a 99-room boutique hotel, The Opposite House (瑜舍).

Dongsi Shitiao station (simplified Chinese: 东四十条站; traditional Chinese: 東四十條站; pinyin: Dōngsì Shítiáo zhàn), is a station on Line 2 of the Beijing Subway.

The Nandouya Mosque (Chinese: 南豆芽清真寺; pinyin: Nándòuyá Qīngzhēnsì) is a mosque in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China.

The People's Literature Publishing House (simplified Chinese: 人民文学出版社; traditional Chinese: 人民文學出版社; pinyin: Rénmín Wénxué Chūbǎnshè) is a large-scale publishing house in China. It was established in March 1951, and was attached to the China Publishing Group (Chinese: 中国出版集团公司). It is known for scholarly publications, editions of classical Chinese literature, dictionaries, and high-quality paperbacks. Its head office is at Chaoyangmen 116, Beijing. Its current director is Pan Kaixiong (Chinese: 潘凯雄) and the editor-in-chief is Guan Shiguang (Chinese: 管士光).

Chaoyangmen (traditional Chinese: 朝陽門; simplified Chinese: 朝阳门; pinyin: Cháoyángmén; Manchu:ᡧᡠᠨᠪᡝᠠᠯᡳᡥᠠᡩᡠᡴᠠ; Möllendorff:šun be aliha duka) was a gate in the former city wall of Beijing. It is now a transportation node and a district border in Beijing. It is located in the Dongcheng District of northeastern central Beijing. Running from north to south is the eastern 2nd Ring Road. The Beijing Subway (Line 6 and Line 2) has a stop at Chaoyangmen.
