Far East Plaza is a shopping centre in Singapore, located in the heart of the Orchard Road shopping belt at Scotts Road. It opened in 1982 together with a Metro (clothing shop) that has since closed down. Over the past few years, Far East Plaza has been a center for youth culture in Singapore with more than 600 shops. It houses many inexpensive clothing outlets as well as eateries which attract a young crowd. Far East Plaza is also home to numerous tattoo parlors and barbers which are mostly located on the upper floors. However, with the emergence of National Youth Council of Singapore's youth Scape center, as well as other youth oriented shopping malls springing up, such as Cathay Cineleisure, the number of youth that frequent Far East Plaza is on a decline. Far East Plaza also houses 'Far East Plaza Residences' Serviced Apartments.The service residences consist of 139 apartments of various sizes.

Tropicana was a 4-storey mixed-use building at 9 Scotts Road in Singapore. It was developed by Shaw Sung Ching and opened in 1968. Tropicana was reportedly the country's first building to contain nightclubs, restaurants, and a theatre. In February 1989, the plot on which the building stood was purchased for S$70 million (equivalent to S$115.2 million in 2020). Tropicana officially ceased operation four months later; it was subsequently demolished and replaced by the 12-storey Pacific Plaza.

Les Amis is a fine-dining restaurant in Singapore serving French cuisine. The restaurant was opened in 1994 as the flagship of the Les Amis Group. Sebastien Lepinoy is the current chef de cuisine and Cheryl Koh is the current pastry chef.

The Goodwood Park Hotel (Chinese: 良木园酒店) is a heritage hotel in Singapore, situated in a 6-hectare landscaped garden on Scotts Road. It was first built as the club house for the Teutonic Club serving the expatriate German community in Singapore, and later converted into a hotel. The hotel was the first in Singapore to have a swimming-pool on the premises, and an air-conditioned wine cellar. The Tower Block of the hotel has been gazetted as a national monument of Singapore.

ION Orchard (pronounced as I-On), formerly known as the Orchard Turn Development or Orchard Turn Site, is a shopping mall in Singapore, next to Orchard MRT station. It is the retail component of an integrated retail and residential development by Orchard Turn Developments Pte Ltd, a joint venture between CapitaLand and Sun Hung Kai Properties. It started operating on 21 July 2009, occupying 335 food and retail outlets. In December 2016, Forbes recognized ION Orchard as one of the top shopping malls in Singapore.The Orchard Residences, the residential component of the development, is a high-rise residential condominium. It was completed along with the shopping mall under the same developer, manager and owner in 2010. It owns a 99-year leasehold with effect from 13 March 2006.

The Scotts Shopping Centre was a shopping mall in Singapore, located along Scotts Road in the Orchard Road vicinity. The mall was branded as a high-end boutique mall with outlets like Pois, Blush, Crème, and Kiehl's, with professional women as its target demographic.

The Orchard Residences, a 56-storey, 218 m (715 ft), high-rise residential condominium, completed in 2010 is the residential component of an integrated retail and residential development by Orchard Turn Developments Pte Ltd, a joint venture between CapitaLand and Sun Hung Kai Properties. Located along the prime shopping district of Singapore on Orchard Road. The tower is the tallest building along the shopping district, and has 175 residential units from the ninth to the 54th floor, with four penthouse apartments. During the first phase of the sale, 98 units were sold for an average of S$3213 per sq ft. ION Orchard shopping mall, the retail component completed together with the project, has 335 food and retail outlets.

Liat Towers is a shopping mall and mixed-use complex in Orchard Road, Singapore. Built in 1979, it is next to the Orchard MRT station of Singapore. It has 21 floors with offices, foodservice outlets, retail stores and embassies. The building is notable as the location of McDonald's first outlet in Singapore, which opened on October 20, 1979 , most notably also being the first ever McDonald's outlet in Southeast Asia.

Mount Elizabeth Hospital, known colloquially as Mount E, is a 345-bed private hospital in Singapore operated by Parkway Health. Construction began in 1976 and the hospital officially opened on 8 December 1979. The hospital specialises in cardiology, oncology, and neuroscience, among other tertiary services. It is also recognised as a multi-organ transplant speciality hospital. Since 1995, it has been owned by Parkway Holdings Ltd. The hospital is accredited by Joint Commission International and is located in Singapore's Orchard Road, on Mount Elizabeth. It is the first private hospital in Singapore to perform open-heart surgery and to establish a nuclear medicine centre.The Royal Family of Brunei built a Royal Suite in the hospital for their own use. It was later made available for use by other patients.In 2016 the cost of a bed in a four-bed ward was $276 a night. A single room was $640 a night.The adjacent Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre (MEMC) houses clinics with private medical specialists only. Doctors have to be specialists accredited by the Singapore Medical Council in order to practice in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. They practice in 31 specialities in total, including anaesthesiology, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, dental specialties, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, medical oncology, neurology, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, paediatric medicine, plastic surgery, renal medicine, respiratory medicine, and urology. Consultation and treatment rates vary per condition, clinic, and specialist. The medical centre caters to patients of all ages from Singapore, Southeast Asia, and international patients from all countries visiting Singapore. Staff who understand multiple languages such as Indonesian, Russian, and Malay are available on-site to provide translations. The medical centre also contains pharmacies and shops on the second floor.
