The Al-Falah Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al-Falah), built in 1987, is a mosque in Singapore.Located at Bideford Road, a two-minute walk from the busy Orchard Road, the mosque is unique for its location on the first floor of a commercial building. While it has little architecture to speak of, it is provides an important religious function in its area of the city, where it serves workers in nearby offices and department stores. Its forte is in its strong youth movement and family development unit. The mosque organizes youth camps and expeditions to nearby countries. Built in 1987, the mosque could accommodate up to 1,500 people. In 2016, after multiple phases of refurbishment, the mosque can now take up to 2,000 worshippers through extensions on both levels. A platform lift has been installed. Air conditioning has been added although it is only switch on during the daily prayers conducted by the imam.

Wisma Atria is an established shopping mall on Orchard Road in Singapore. The 230,000 square feet (21,000 m2) centre, which opened on 13 November 1986, is directly linked underground to Orchard MRT station and neighbouring centres.Wisma Atria has five levels of shopping with one basement and four levels of retail space as well as three levels of car parking space. The centre offers over 100 specialty stores anchored by Japanese department store Isetan, fashion brands Tory Burch, Coach and local food haven Food Republic. The embassy of Poland is located on the 17th floor of an office building just next to the shopping mall.

Mount Elizabeth Hospital, known colloquially as Mount E, is a 345-bed private hospital in Singapore operated by Parkway Health. Construction began in 1976 and the hospital officially opened on 8 December 1979. The hospital specialises in cardiology, oncology, and neuroscience, among other tertiary services. It is also recognised as a multi-organ transplant speciality hospital. Since 1995, it has been owned by Parkway Holdings Ltd. The hospital is accredited by Joint Commission International and is located in Singapore's Orchard Road, on Mount Elizabeth. It is the first private hospital in Singapore to perform open-heart surgery and to establish a nuclear medicine centre.The Royal Family of Brunei built a Royal Suite in the hospital for their own use. It was later made available for use by other patients.In 2016 the cost of a bed in a four-bed ward was $276 a night. A single room was $640 a night.The adjacent Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre (MEMC) houses clinics with private medical specialists only. Doctors have to be specialists accredited by the Singapore Medical Council in order to practice in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. They practice in 31 specialities in total, including anaesthesiology, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, dental specialties, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, medical oncology, neurology, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, paediatric medicine, plastic surgery, renal medicine, respiratory medicine, and urology. Consultation and treatment rates vary per condition, clinic, and specialist. The medical centre caters to patients of all ages from Singapore, Southeast Asia, and international patients from all countries visiting Singapore. Staff who understand multiple languages such as Indonesian, Russian, and Malay are available on-site to provide translations. The medical centre also contains pharmacies and shops on the second floor.

Ngee Ann City is a shopping and commercial centre located on Orchard Road, Singapore. The S$520 million building was officially opened on 21 September 1993 by then Prime Minister, Goh Chok Tong. Ngee Ann City currently houses the High Commission of New Zealand, which is situated on the 15th floor of Tower A.

ION Orchard shopping mall, the retail component completed together with the project, has 335 food and retail outlets.

It started operating on 21 July 2009, occupying 335 food and retail outlets. In December 2016, Forbes recognized ION Orchard as one of the top shopping malls in Singapore.The Orchard Residences, the residential component of the development, is a high-rise residential condominium. It was completed along with the shopping mall under the same developer, manager and owner in 2010. It owns a 99-year leasehold with effect from 13 March 2006.

Orchard MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line, located on the boundary of Orchard and River Valley planning areas, Singapore. Being one of the three MRT stations that serve the popular shopping district along Orchard Road, Orchard station is one of the network's busiest stations. In 2022, Orchard station will become an interchange with the Thomson–East Coast line which is currently under construction.

Far East Plaza is a shopping centre in Singapore, located in the heart of the Orchard Road shopping belt at Scotts Road. It opened in 1982 together with a Metro (clothing shop) that has since closed down. Over the past few years, Far East Plaza has been a center for youth culture in Singapore with more than 600 shops. It houses many inexpensive clothing outlets as well as eateries which attract a young crowd. Far East Plaza is also home to numerous tattoo parlors and barbers which are mostly located on the upper floors. However, with the emergence of National Youth Council of Singapore's youth Scape center, as well as other youth oriented shopping malls springing up, such as Cathay Cineleisure, the number of youth that frequent Far East Plaza is on a decline. Far East Plaza also houses 'Far East Plaza Residences' Serviced Apartments.The service residences consist of 139 apartments of various sizes.

Shaw House and Shaw Centre is a complex of two neighbouring buildings built by the same developer, Shaw Organisation. Located at the junction of Orchard Road and Scotts Road in Singapore, it features the flagship Lido Cineplex for the Shaw Organisation, a major shopping mall with Isetan as an anchor tenant, and two office buildings.
