Appu Ghar was an amusement park operated by International Amusement Limited, located in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. It was spread over 15.5 acres (63,000 m2) of land and was India's first amusement park. It was established in 1984 to commemorate the 1982 Asian Games, and it was inaugurated on 19 November 1984 by then-Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. The park closed down in 2008 after a legal ruling allocating the land for government use.

Pragati Maidan is a venue for large exhibitions and conventions in the city of New Delhi, India. It has an area of nearly 150 acres (more than 625,000m2) of exhibition space, being among the biggest exhibition centers in India.It is owned, operated, controlled and managed by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the trade promotion agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. It is partially under redevelopment since 2018 for the ambitious International Exhibition & Convention Centre (IECC) project.

Hall of Nations was an exhibition hall that was inaugurated in 1972 as part of the Pragati Maidan exhibition complex in New Delhi, India.

Pragati Maidan railway station is a small railway station in Pragati Maidan which is a residential and commercial neighborhood of the New Delhi district of Delhi. Its code is PGMD. The station is part of Delhi Suburban Railway. The station consist of 2 platforms.

The chief justice of India is the head and chief judge of the Supreme Court, which consists of a maximum of 34 judges and has extensive powers in the form of original, appellate and advisory jurisdictions.As the apex constitutional court in India, it takes up appeals primarily against verdicts of the high courts of various states of the Union and other courts and tribunals. It is required to safeguard the fundamental rights of citizens and settles disputes between various government authorities as well as the central government vs. state governments or state governments versus another state government in the country. As an advisory court, it hears matters which may specifically be referred to it under the Constitution by the president of India. The law declared by the Supreme Court becomes binding on all courts within India and also by the union and state governments. As per the Article 142 of the Constitution, it is the duty of the president of India to enforce the decrees of the Supreme Court and the court is conferred with the inherent jurisdiction to pass any order deemed necessary in the interest of justice. The Supreme Court has replaced the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council as the highest court of appeal since 28 January 1950.

The Supreme Court of India (Hindi: भारत का सर्वोच्च न्यायालय) is the highest judicial forum and the final court of appeal of India, established under the Constitution of India, according to which the Supreme Court is the highest constitutional court and acts as the guardian of the Constitution. India has an integrated and yet independent judiciary.Since independence, the judiciary has played a very active role in dispensing justice; beginning with the A. K. Gopalan v. State of Madras case (1950) and the Shankari Prasad case, etc. The judiciary remained submissive until the 1960s, with the modern trend of judicial activism beginning in 1973 when the Allahabad High Court rejected the candidature of Indira Gandhi in State of Uttar Pradesh v. Raj Narain. The introduction of public interest litigation by Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer further expanded its scope.

Qila-i-Kuhna Mosque (Mosque of the Old Fort) is a mosque located inside the premises of Purana Qila (Old Fort) in Delhi, the capital of India. After Sher Shah Suri defeated Humayun, he occupied Purana Qila. There, he built the mosque for his private use, which became a "symbol of his royal aspiration". The mosque is believed to have been constructed in 1541 CE.

IPGCL Gas Turbine Power Station was a defunct power plant that was located at Delhi. The power plant was one of the gas based power plants of IPGCL. Source of water for the power plant was the Yamuna River.

Purana Qila (lit. 'Old Fort') is one of the oldest forts in Delhi, India. Built by the second Mughal Emperor Humayun and Surid Sultan Sher Shah Suri, it is thought by many to be located on the site of the ancient city of Indraprastha. The fort formed the inner citadel of the city of Dinpanah. It is located near the expansive Pragati Maidan exhibition ground and is separated from the Dhyanchand Stadium by the Mathura Road, Delhi.

The Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, commonly known by its former name National Stadium, is a field hockey stadium in New Delhi, India. The stadium is named after former Indian field hockey player, Dhyan Chand. It served as the venue for the 1st Asian Games in 1951.

The Indraprastha metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.
