The area is a residential enclave comprising 20 historical residences, a walkway, and a small park. It is listed as a San Francisco Designated Landmark since September 1991, under the name " Bush Street–Cottage Row"; listed as a listed California Historical Landmark since December 27, 1982; and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 27, 1982, for architecture.
