It is served by Metrolink's 91 Line from Los Angeles Union Station to Riverside and Metrolink's Orange County Line running from Los Angeles Union Station to Oceanside. On weekdays, this station is served by 19 Orange County Line trains and nine 91 Line trains. On weekends, eight Orange County Line trains and four 91 Line trains serve this station.

The district covers several cities in southeastern Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley areas including the cities of: Diamond Bar, Industry, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, Montebello, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Walnut, and Whittier. As well the unincorporated communities of: Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, Los Nietos, East Whittier, North Whittier, and South Whittier. A small portion of Pomona and the Orange County city of La Habra are also included in the district. The major cities generally reflect a Hispanic majority, while Diamond Bar and Walnut have an Asian-American majority.

The Clarke Estate is a historic mansion in Santa Fe Springs, California, U.S.. It was built from 1919 to 1921 for Chauncey Clarke and his wife, Marie Rankin Clarke. It was designed by architect Irving Gill. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 4, 1990.

Norwalk is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 105,549 at the 2010 census and an estimated 103,949 in 2019. It is the 58th most densely-populated city in California.Founded in the late 19th century, Norwalk was incorporated as a city in 1957. It is located 17 miles (27 km) southeast of downtown Los Angeles and is part of the Greater Los Angeles area. Norwalk is a member of the Gateway Cities Council of Governments. Norwalk's sister cities are Morelia in the Mexican state of Michoacán, and Hermosillo, in the Mexican state of Sonora.

Santa Fe High School is a public high school located in Santa Fe Springs, California. The school has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students and was founded in 1954 as a part of the Whittier Union High School District. It serves students in grades 9–12 in the cities of Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk, Downey, and Whittier. Santa Fe was named a California Distinguished School in 2007. For the 2009-2010 school year, Santa Fe met its Federal AYP; the school's API score was 786 for that same year. Santa Fe's API Score for the 2010-2011 school year was 803, placing the school within the proficient range starting at 800.

John Glenn High School is a public high school located in Norwalk, California and part of the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. Its athletics participate in the 605 League of the CIF Southern Section. The school colors are red, white, and blue. The school's team nickname is the Eagles. The school was named after astronaut and future U.S. senator John Glenn. Current administrators are Principal Jennifer Padilla, and assistant principals include Shannon Cruz,Orlando Beltran,and Paulette Gasporra. Glenn High School opened in 1963. First graduating class was 1965.

Norwalk High School is a college-preparatory high school in Norwalk, California. It is a member school of the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. It was established in 1956. Norwalk High School is fully accredited by the Western Associations of Schools and Colleges. It is certified to award a traditional American high school diploma. English is the main language of instruction. The current principal is David Olea.

Rancho Santa Gertrudes was a 21,298-acre (86.19 km2) 1834 Mexican land grant, in present-day Los Angeles County, California, resulting from a partition of Rancho Los Nietos. A former site of Nacaugna, the rancho lands included the present-day cities of Downey and Santa Fe Springs.

The Darius David Johnston House, is a historic house and museum in Norwalk, California. Constructed from 1890 to 1891, it is a two-story building in the Stick and Eastlake styles. It is sometimes called the Hargitt Ranch House for the constructor, Darius Daivd Johnston's daughter, Cora Hargitt. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 2, 1978.
