Bridgehampton Race Circuit was a race track located near Sag Harbor, New York, United States. The circuit opened in 1957, following a series of road races held from 1949 until 1953. It was one of the first permanent road racing venues in the United States, opening after Thompson Speedway, two years after Road America, the year after Watkins Glen International, and the same year as Lime Rock Park and Laguna Seca Raceway. In its early years, Bridgehampton was host to major international series, including the World Sportscar Championship, Can-Am, and NASCAR Grand National. By the early 1970s, the track was used mostly for amateur events. The track closed permanently in 1999.Bridgehampton was renowned as a fearsome course, requiring the utmost of driver skill.

Noyack (also Noyac) is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The CDP population was 4,325 at the 2020 census.Noyac is an Algonquin word meaning "a corner or point of land". It is believed that it refers to Jessup Neck, granted to John Jessup in 1679.Noyac is located on the South Fork of Long Island in the Town of Southampton. The community is at the edge of Noyac Bay.The William Cauldwell House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

William Cauldwell House is a historic home located at Noyack in Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1892 for newspaper publisher William Cauldwell, and is a three-story, three bay wide building with a steeply pitched, side gabled roof, a two-story central dormer extending from the second through the third stories and a single story, wrap-around porch. It is in the Queen Anne style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge is a 187-acre (76 ha) National Wildlife Refuge in Noyack, New York. Much of the refuge is situated on a peninsula surrounded by Noyack and Little Peconic bays. The refuge is managed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the Long Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The refuge was established December 27, 1954, through a donation by Elizabeth Alexandra Morton. It encompasses diverse habitats including bay beach, a brackish pond, a freshwater pond, kettle holes, tidal flats, salt marsh, freshwater marsh, shrub, grasslands, maritime oak forest, and red cedar. The refuge's diversity is critical to Long Island wildlife. The north/south orientation of the refuge's peninsula creates important habitat for shorebirds, raptors, and songbirds as they navigate the coastline during migration. Habitats along the beach attract nesting piping plovers, roseate terns, least terns, common terns, and shorebirds. The waters surrounding the refuge are considered critical habitats for juvenile Kemp's ridley sea turtles and are occasionally used by loggerhead sea turtles. Waterfowl use of the refuge peaks during the colder months. Long-tailed ducks, white-winged scoter, goldeneye and black ducks will most likely be spotted during winter.

The Hampton Classic Horse Show (generally referred to as the "Hampton Classic") is a Grand Prix event that is one of the larger show jumping contests in the United States. Held over Labor Day in Bridgehampton, part of the town of Southampton, New York, it is one of the biggest social bashes in the Hamptons scene and signals the grand finale of the summer season. In 2013, the show dates were Sunday, August 25 through Sunday, September 1. The roots of the show go to the early 1900s in Southampton to a show that was discontinued during World War I. It was revived in the 1920s and then discontinued again in World War II. It was revived a third time in 1959 as the "Southampton Horse Show", which was discontinued in the mid-1960s. The current show started in 1971 by the Topping Riding Club in Sagaponack, New York, as a one-day show. In 1976 it became a five-day rated show held initially at Dune Alpin Farm in East Hampton. In 1978, its name was formally changed to the Hampton Classic, and in 1982 it moved to its present location on Snake Hollow Road, Bridgehampton. In 2006 its web site indicated it has 1,300 horses exhibited and over $500,000 in prize money. The social scene that accompanies the show has led to heavy upscale sponsorships. In 2006 its VIP tent could house 3,000 served by white-coated waiters. Visitors promenade the grounds often with dogs and showing off elaborate hats, which are commonly worn to the prestigious Grand Prix, held on the last Sunday of the show. The show is held at the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season, and several shows have had to deal with hurricanes or the rains associated with them. In 1976 the tents were flattened in one storm just before the show. In 2011, Hurricane Irene caused the start of the Hampton Classic to be postponed for three days. The jumping contests continue even in the rain and are discontinued only when real hazards are posed to horse and rider. The Hampton Classic is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a two-fold mission: to put on a world-class equestrian event and to support other local charities. The Hampton Classic makes an annual financial contribution to Southampton Hospital, and provides additional in-kind support to the hospital as well as dozens of other area charities.

Noyack Road was a railroad station on the Sag Harbor Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in Sag Harbor, New York. While the branch opened in 1869, this station was not added until 37 years later in 1906 as "Lamb's Corner". By 1915, it had been renamed as "Noyack Road".It was demolished with the rest of the branch shortly after service was withdrawn from the line in 1939.

Bridgehampton is a station along the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. It is located at Maple Lane and Butter Lane, in Bridgehampton, New York.

Maycroft is a historic estate located at North Haven in Suffolk County, New York. The main house was built in 1886 and is a massive Queen Anne / Shingle Style frame residence. It features horizontal massing, asymmetrical composition, high-pitched multigabled roof, prominent tower and chimneys, and multi-paned window sash. Also on the property are a carriage house, tennis pavilion, brick garage, and frame storage shed. In 1921, the property was deeded to the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island and used initially as a summer camp and vacation retreat for business women. In 1952, it was occupied by the Teachers of the Children of God order, who operate the Tuller School.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Sag Harbor is an incorporated village in Suffolk County, New York, United States, in the towns of Southampton and East Hampton on eastern Long Island. The village developed as a working port on Gardiners Bay. The population was 2,772 at the 2020 census.The entire business district is listed as the historic Sag Harbor Village District on the National Register of Historic Places. A major whaling and shipping port in the 19th century, by the end of this period and in the 20th century, it became a destination for wealthy people who summered there. Sag Harbor is about three-fifths in Southampton and two-fifths in East Hampton (the Town boundary being Division Street). Its landmarks include structures associated with whaling and its early days when it was designated as the first port of entry to the new United States. It had the first United States custom house erected on Long Island.

Dia Bridgehampton, previously known as the Dan Flavin Art Institute, is a museum in Bridgehampton, New York run by the Dia Art Foundation. Originally built in 1909 as a firehouse, the building was sold to the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton in 1924. The church renovated and expanded the building in 1947 and used it as a place of worship through the mid-1970s. The congregation grew and, in 1979, they sold the building to the Dia Art Foundation. Dia renovated the building into a single-artist museum for Dan Flavin as well as a rotating exhibition space. The building re-opened in 1983 as the Dan Flavin Art Institute. The second floor and vestibule of the museum house ten works by Dan Flavin on permanent display and the first floor houses a gallery for temporary exhibitions. In addition, the rear of the second floor holds a display of historic memorabilia from the First Baptist Church including the church doors, a frosted glass window, a large neon cross, and the 1947 church cornerstone. In early 2020, Dia stopped calling the building the "Dan Flavin Art Institute" and began calling it "Dia Bridgehampton". The Flavin works within the building are now considered the "Dan Flavin Art Institute" while the rotating gallery makes up the rest of "Dia Bridgehampton". This museum is one of the twelve locations and sites the Dia Art Foundation manages.

Bridgehampton is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) on the South Fork of Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 1,756 at the 2010 census.Bridgehampton is in the town of Southampton, on Long Island. Shortly after the founding of Southampton in 1640, settlers began to move east to the area known by the Shinnecock Indians as Sagaponack and Mecox. At the head of Sagg Pond, the settlers established a community called Bullhead, later renamed Bridgehampton—after the bridge built across the pond. Sagg Bridge was built in 1686 by Ezekiel Sandford. The bridge was the link between Mecox and Sagaponack and gave this locality its name of Bridgehampton. The notorious criminal and memoirist Stephen Burroughs lived there during the 18th century and helped found the town's first library in 1793; the volumes he purchased could be found in the Bridgehampton Public Library as late as 2002.Bridgehampton became the home of the horse show known as the Hampton Classic and a road racing course that figured prominently in American automobile racing. It’s also home to one of the last Kmart stores in the United States.

Nathaniel Rogers House is a historic home located at Bridgehampton in Suffolk County, New York. It is a Greek Revival–style residence that significantly expanded and altered in about 1840. It is a 2+1⁄2-story temple front and flanking 1-story wings. the full facade portico has four Ionic order columns supporting a full entablature with no pediment. It once had a cupola and balustrade, but they were removed after the New England Hurricane of 1938. For many years it was operated as a hotel and restaurant named "Hampton House."It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.The house was purchased by the Bridgehampton Historical Society (now The Bridgehampton Museum) and donated to the town of Southampton, New York. The Society plans to renovate the house and use it as its headquarters and for exhibits.
