It is also home to important sites from modern Jordanian history, including the al-Mufti House, the residence of King Talal (Teta Alice's House), and the home of former military commander and Prime Minister Zaid ibn Shaker. Souk Jara is located near the street.

The Le Royal, is one of the tallest buildings in Amman, Jordan. Located in the 3rd Circle area, the building serves as a host of Le Royal Hotel chain in addition to a shopping mall, cinemas and commercial offices. It is a major landmark in Amman and one of the tallest buildings in Amman.The building's original cost of $200 million was increased to $350 million over the course of construction and it is also built in a modern way as a clad building. The building is lit with colorful lights during the night. These lights are set to different colors on different nights, so the hotel can appear in many different colors depending on the night.

The 7Hills Skatepark is a 650 sq. meter concrete skatepark located at Samir Rifai Park in downtown Amman, Jordan named for the seven hills that the city is built on.

The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts is a major contemporary art museum located in Jabal al-Luweibdeh, Amman. The Official inauguration of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts (JNGFA) was held under the patronage of the late King Hussein and Queen Noor Al Hussein and was Established in 1980 by the Royal Society of Fine Arts, the museum's permanent collection "comprises over 2000 works including paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs, installations, weavings, and ceramics by more than 800 artists from 59 countries mainly in Asia and Africa."

The French Ambassador in Amman is the representative of the government in Paris (France) next the government of Jordan.

KMC is the sole private-sector medical institution to be selected by the Royal Commission on Health towards studying and setting the National Agenda, called for by King Abdullah II, to lay the ground for the healthcare industry in Jordan for the next 20 years.

Our Lady of the Annunciation Church or simply Church of Jabal Webdeh is a Catholic parish in Jabal al-Luweibdeh in the city of Amman.The parish is Roman (or Latin) rite, under the jurisdiction of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem (Patriarcha Hierosolymitanus Latinorum). The parish celebrated its 50-year parish anniversary in 2012, and was restored for the occasion with funds from the Patriarchate. The Patriarchate was restored by Pope Pius IX in 1847 by the apostolic brief Nulla celebrior.

Virgin Mary Church is a Coptic Orthodox Church located in Amman, Jordan. The church lies in front of the King Abdullah I Mosque in the Abdali district, and was built during Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria's visit to Jordan in 2005.
