W243CE (96.5 FM "La Mega 96.5 y 105.1"), is a Spanish-language music radio station having Winder, Georgia as its city of license, and previously transmitting from west-northwest of Winder, about halfway to Auburn, Georgia. In late February 2016, it was granted a construction permit to move all the way southwest to Columbus, Georgia, in the far west-central part of the state, to become the FM side of WOKS AM 1340, with 250 watts ERP on 97.5, at about 53 m (174 ft) in height. Ordinarily prohibited, the long-distance move is allowed under the FCC's "AM revitalization" program, which allows AM stations (but not other low-power community stations like LPFM) to take existing FM translators and the service they provide away from their current areas and use them to duplicate their own service in the same area they already serve.

Road Atlanta (known for sponsorship reasons as Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta) is a 2.540 mi (4.088 km) road course located just north of Braselton, Georgia, United States. The facility is utilized for a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs and testing for motorsports teams. The track has 12 turns, including the famous "esses" between turns three and five; and Turn 12, a downhill, diving turn. The track is owned by IMSA Holdings, LLC through its subsidiary Road Atlanta, LLC, and is the home to the Petit Le Mans, as well as AMA motorcycle racing, and smaller events throughout the year. Michelin acquired naming rights to the facility in 2018.

Caffeine and Octane's Lanier Raceway (formerly Lanier Raceplex and Lanier National Speedway) is a 0.375-mile paved oval racetrack located just outside Braselton, Georgia. The track opened in 1982 as a dirt track, and was paved in the mid-1980s. It is currently owned and operated by High Octane, LLC, an auto events & multimedia business conglomerate. The track was under the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series banner with super late models, SuperTrucks, Junkyard Dogs, outlaw late models, mini stocks, INEX RaceCeiver/zMax legends cars and INEX bandolero cars. The track ended weekly racing at the end of the 2011 season, but remained open for larger events. In 2022, High Octane resumed weekly car events at the raceway for the first time since 2011. The Pro All Star Series hosted a national super late model event at Lanier on November 15–16, 2019. This served as the PASS National Championship final. On 1 January 2022 it was reported that the track had been sold to Caffeine and Octane. C&O's Lanier Raceway is located across from the NASCAR owned Road Atlanta motor racing circuit.

Thompson Mills Forest (330 acres) is a research forest and Georgia's official state arboretum. It is located at 8755 Highway 53 (off New Liberty Church Road), Braselton, Georgia, and operated by the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources In 1980 the forest was deeded to the University of Georgia by Lenox T. Thornton, for teaching and research, to establish an arboretum of native and exotic trees, and for public education and appreciation. In 1991 it was designated the state's official arboretum. When deeded, the forest was a late-secondary Piedmont oak-hickory forest, dominated by Quercus, Carya, Liriodendron, and Fagus. Since 1980 more than 100 species have been added to the 80 native species already present. Today the forest includes about 90% of Georgia's native trees, and a major pinetum with more than 100 conifer species. The Eva Thompson Thornton Garden (7 acres) contains more than 100 ornamental trees from around the world. The arboretum also contains an interesting granite outcrop and several miles of walking trails.

Chestnut Mountain is an unincorporated community in Hall County, Georgia, United States. The community is located along Georgia State Route 53, 8.7 miles (14.0 km) south of Gainesville. The community was named after J. T. Chestnut, a pioneer citizen.

Mill Creek High School is a high school in Hoschton, Georgia, United States. It serves the unincorporated area of Hamilton Mill, Gwinnett County, a suburb of Atlanta, as well as Braselton. It also serves unincorporated areas (not city limits) such as zip codes 30548, 30019, 30542, 30517 and 30519. It has 3,997 students, and the most recent attendance counts have named it the largest school in Georgia. It is fed only by Frank N. Osborne Middle School, as Glenn C. Jones Middle School now feeds into Seckinger High School, opened in 2022.Mill Creek was named for the 4th consecutive year as one of the schools in the top 5% in the country with regard to academics and test results.In August 2004, Mill Creek opened with 2,500 students. It now enrolls a little under 4,000 students, and 292 staff members. It has 53 trailers around the school to provide enough space for its many students. By 2018 the school, which had 3,724 students that year, had been consistently the largest high school in Georgia by student population.Mill Creek has over 100 student clubs.

Braselton ( BRAZ-əl-tən) is a town in Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall, and Jackson counties in the U.S. state of Georgia, approximately 43 miles (69 km) northeast of Atlanta. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 7,511, and in 2018 the estimated population was 11,652.The Gwinnett and Barrow County portions of Braselton are part of the Atlanta–Sandy Springs–Marietta, GA, Metropolitan Statistical Area, and the Hall County portion is part of both the Atlanta and Gainesville, GA Metropolitan Statistical Areas. The remaining Jackson County portion of Braselton is not part of any core based statistical area.

Phillips State Prison is a Georgia Department of Corrections state medium-security prison for men located in Buford, Gwinnett County, Georgia. Current capacity of the facility is 918 inmates.

Hoschton is a city in Jackson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,377 at the 2010 census. As of 2018 the estimated population was 1,916.

Seckinger High School is an American four-year comprehensive high school in Buford, Georgia. It is the only high school in the Seckinger cluster of the Gwinnett County Public Schools System, and opened in August 2022 as a public school. Jones Middle School, which feeds into Seckinger High School, is also a part of the Seckinger cluster along with three elementary schools.The school has an artificial intelligence theme, with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science curriculums to prepare students for careers in technology-related sectors. The school offers four different career-based sets of classes: advanced sciences and technology, international and civic leadership, art and design, or a personalized hybrid track.

Flowery Branch High School is a four-year public high school located in Flowery Branch, Georgia, United States, operated by Hall County Schools. In 2007, Flowery Branch was voted Georgia's High School of Excellence. It is one of seven high schools in the district and enrolls about 1,600 students. The attendance boundary includes eastern portions of Flowery Branch. The school also serves areas with Buford postal addresses that are not in the Buford city limits.

The Little Mulberry Indian Mounds are a series of carefully stacked rock piles located in Little Mulberry Park, Dacula, Georgia. In 1990, architect Michael Garrow counted 200 of these stone mounds while surveying the land ahead of a proposed golf course residential development. The stone piles are typically circular or semicircular in shape. Most of those that have been examined archaeologically have revealed no cultural artifacts beyond the stone structure, while a few have been found to have historical 19th-century artifacts underneath them. A subset of the area, part of its early identification, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Parks-Strickland Archeological Complex. There continues to be scholarly dispute over the function and significance of the structures, although Native American tribes historically associated with the region claim them to have funerary significance.
