Biloxi ( bih-LUK-see; French: [bilusi]) is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. It lies on the Gulf Coast in southern Mississippi thirteen miles east of Gulfport along US-90. The adjacent cities are both designated as seats of Harrison County. The population of Biloxi was 49,449 at the 2020 census, making it the state's 4th most populous city. It is a principal city of the Gulfport–Biloxi metropolitan area, home to 416,259 residents in 2020. The area's first European settlers were French colonists. The beachfront of Biloxi lies directly on the Mississippi Sound, with barrier islands scattered off the coast and into the Gulf of Mexico. Keesler Air Force Base lies within the city and is home to the 81st Training Wing and the 403d Wing of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

The Diocese of Biloxi (Latin: Dioecesis Biloxiensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory, or diocese, of the Catholic Church that encompasses 17 counties in southern Mississippi in the United States. The diocese was erected on March 1, 1977, when it was split from the Diocese of Jackson. The Diocese of Biloxi is a suffragan diocese of the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Mobile, though for its first three years the diocese was in the province of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Biloxi, Mississippi, is the diocesan cathedral.

Biloxi National Cemetery is a U.S. National Cemetery that is located in Biloxi, Mississippi on the grounds of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), near Keesler Air Force Base. It occupies approximately 54 acres (22 ha), and is site to over 27,000 interments as of 2021.

Major-General Joseph Robert Davis (January 12, 1825 – September 15, 1896) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the commanding general of the Mississippi National Guard from 1888 to 1895. During the American Civil War, he served as aide-de-camp to the President of the Confederate States and commanded a brigade in the Army of Northern Virginia. He is best known for his role at Gettysburg. A member of the Democratic Party, he represented Madison and Scott counties in the Mississippi Senate from 1860 to 1861.

Biloxi High School is the only public high school located in the city of Biloxi, Mississippi. It has approximately 1,650 students and 150 faculty.

Mercy Cross High School was a private, Roman Catholic high school in Biloxi, Mississippi, founded in 1981. It was the merger of two other high schools in Biloxi, Sacred Heart High School and Notre Dame High School. Sacred Heart was the all-girls school while Notre Dame was the all-boys school. Mercy Cross was the co-ed merger of the two. The name, Mercy Cross, was derived from the Sisters of Mercy and the Brothers of the Holy Cross, who taught students at schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi for decades. Feeder schools included Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Elementary, Our Lady of Fatima Elementary, Sacred Heart Elementary, and St. Alphonsus Elementary. The school was located on the original Notre Dame High School campus in Biloxi, Mississippi and nestled between Keegan's Bayou to the east and the Biloxi sewage treatment plant to the west. After receiving extensive damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, classes were temporarily relocated while construction began on a new school. It was permanently replaced by St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi in August 2007. St. Patrick Catholic High School is the merger of Mercy Cross High School and St. John High School of Gulfport, Mississippi.

First Baptist Church is a Baptist church located in Biloxi, Mississippi. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

MGM Park is a baseball park in Biloxi, Mississippi. The home of the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers of the Southern League, it opened on June 6, 2015, and can seat up to 6,067 people. The stadium was the site of the 2019 Southern League All-Star Game. Though primarily a venue for Minor League Baseball, it has been the home of the Conference USA baseball tournament since 2017. Concerts have also been held at the venue.

Biloxi station is a closed and unstaffed Amtrak intercity train station in Biloxi, Mississippi. There is no station building; there is only a covered platform. The station is across the street from the Biloxi Transit Center, which serves Coast Transit Authority and Greyhound buses. Amtrak service to Biloxi began with the Gulf Coast Limited, which operated between 1984 and 1985. The stop was reactivated on March 31, 1993 in service on the Sunset Limited. Damage to the rail line resulting from Hurricane Katrina in 2005 caused Amtrak to suspend service east of New Orleans, including at Biloxi.

The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, at 870 West Howard Avenue in Biloxi, Mississippi, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi. It was designed by Theodore Brune and built by J.F. Barnes & Company of Greenville, Mississippi in 1902. The cathedral was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Brune was a German-American architect who designed several churches on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana. The Gothic design for the Blessed Virgin Mother Catholic Church on West Howard Avenue was constructed after the original church was destroyed by the Great Biloxi Fire of November 1900 on the same site. Stained glass windows were donated to the church by Julia Dulion Lopez (1857-1918) in memory of her late husband in early 1906. The windows were built by Reis and Reis of Munich, Germany and installed by Frederick Thornley of New York.

Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort is a casino and hotel in D'Iberville, Mississippi. The resort has 300 hotel rooms, 68,000 square feet (6,300 m2) of gaming space, including a newly built high limit area (opened late 2020) and amenities including a 36-hole miniature golf course, a buffet, and three other restaurants. The property also features a swimming pool and fitness center. The project, originally named the Can Can Casino Resort and Spa, gained site approval from the Mississippi Gaming Commission in February 2010, but development stalled because of the Great Recession. Revised plans for the casino, by now known as the Scarlet Pearl, were approved by the commission in December 2013. Groundbreaking was held in July 2014. The property opened on December 9, 2015, at a cost of $290 million.On October 1, 2019, the Scarlet Pearl's sportsbook took one of the largest bets in sports-betting history when they accepted Jim "Mattress Mack" Mcingvale's $3.5 million wager on the Houston Astros to win the 2019 World Series. In total, Mcingvale wagered $6.2 million at the Scarlet Pearl over the course of October, 2019 with all wagers on the Houston Astros to win the World Series.
