Biloxi ( bih-LUK-see; French: [bilusi]) is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. It lies on the Gulf Coast in southern Mississippi thirteen miles east of Gulfport along US-90. The adjacent cities are both designated as seats of Harrison County. The population of Biloxi was 49,449 at the 2020 census, making it the state's 4th most populous city. It is a principal city of the Gulfport–Biloxi metropolitan area, home to 416,259 residents in 2020. The area's first European settlers were French colonists. The beachfront of Biloxi lies directly on the Mississippi Sound, with barrier islands scattered off the coast and into the Gulf of Mexico. Keesler Air Force Base lies within the city and is home to the 81st Training Wing and the 403d Wing of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Keesler Air Force Base (IATA: BIX, ICAO: KBIX, FAA LID: BIX) is a United States Air Force base located in Biloxi, a city along the Gulf Coast in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. The base is named in honor of aviator 2d Lt Samuel Reeves Keesler Jr., a Mississippi native killed in France during the First World War. The base is home of Headquarters, Second Air Force (2 AF) and the 81st Training Wing (81 TW) of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). The base has specialized in ground trade training since its opening in 1941 during World War II. It has had high-quality technical schools and absorbed units moved from other bases under the Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC).

Biloxi National Cemetery is a U.S. National Cemetery that is located in Biloxi, Mississippi on the grounds of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), near Keesler Air Force Base. It occupies approximately 54 acres (22 ha), and is site to over 27,000 interments as of 2021.

Major-General Joseph Robert Davis (January 12, 1825 – September 15, 1896) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the commanding general of the Mississippi National Guard from 1888 to 1895. During the American Civil War, he served as aide-de-camp to the President of the Confederate States and commanded a brigade in the Army of Northern Virginia. He is best known for his role at Gettysburg. A member of the Democratic Party, he represented Madison and Scott counties in the Mississippi Senate from 1860 to 1861.

Biloxi High School is the only public high school located in the city of Biloxi, Mississippi. It has approximately 1,650 students and 150 faculty.

Mercy Cross High School was a private, Roman Catholic high school in Biloxi, Mississippi, founded in 1981. It was the merger of two other high schools in Biloxi, Sacred Heart High School and Notre Dame High School. Sacred Heart was the all-girls school while Notre Dame was the all-boys school. Mercy Cross was the co-ed merger of the two. The name, Mercy Cross, was derived from the Sisters of Mercy and the Brothers of the Holy Cross, who taught students at schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi for decades. Feeder schools included Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Elementary, Our Lady of Fatima Elementary, Sacred Heart Elementary, and St. Alphonsus Elementary. The school was located on the original Notre Dame High School campus in Biloxi, Mississippi and nestled between Keegan's Bayou to the east and the Biloxi sewage treatment plant to the west. After receiving extensive damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, classes were temporarily relocated while construction began on a new school. It was permanently replaced by St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi in August 2007. St. Patrick Catholic High School is the merger of Mercy Cross High School and St. John High School of Gulfport, Mississippi.

First Baptist Church is a Baptist church located in Biloxi, Mississippi. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

MGM Park is a baseball park in Biloxi, Mississippi. The home of the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers of the Southern League, it opened on June 6, 2015, and can seat up to 6,067 people. The stadium was the site of the 2019 Southern League All-Star Game. Though primarily a venue for Minor League Baseball, it has been the home of the Conference USA baseball tournament since 2017. Concerts have also been held at the venue.

Biloxi station is a closed and unstaffed Amtrak intercity train station in Biloxi, Mississippi. There is no station building; there is only a covered platform. The station is across the street from the Biloxi Transit Center, which serves Coast Transit Authority and Greyhound buses. Amtrak service to Biloxi began with the Gulf Coast Limited, which operated between 1984 and 1985. The stop was reactivated on March 31, 1993 in service on the Sunset Limited. Damage to the rail line resulting from Hurricane Katrina in 2005 caused Amtrak to suspend service east of New Orleans, including at Biloxi.

D'Iberville ( dee-EYE-bər-vil) is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States, immediately north of Biloxi, across the Back Bay. The population was 12,721 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Gulfport—Biloxi Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The President Casino Broadwater Resort was a combined casino and resort that was located in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was a fixture on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 60 years. Originally known as the Broadwater Beach Hotel and Broadwater Beach Resort, it opened in 1939 as a venue for the illegal but tacitly approved gambling that was flourishing along the coast. In the late 1950s and 1960s, the gambling stopped and the facility was renovated and re-purposed as a resort destination with a state-of-the-art marina and other amenities. In its heyday the Broadwater Beach Resort hosted movie stars, leading politicians, and top business figures as well as people on vacation. It became the Gulf Coast's flagship resort and its colorfully lit front sign was iconic. In 1992, President Casinos gained control of the facility, and after changing the name, added a riverboat casino and barge. The casino had a successful niche following among lower-end gamblers, but the problems of the parent company resulted in bankruptcy filings in the early 2000s. In 2005, new owners closed the resort and casino shortly before Hurricane Katrina destroyed them. The property has been empty since then. A plan in 2006–07 to build a new casino and resort there did not materialize. In 2020 a new joint venture involving the Universal Music Group was formed to build a music-central entertainment and casino resort at the site.
