The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum (also known as BRHS&M) is a non-profit organization and public museum dedicated to preserve and collect history and artifacts of Boca Raton, Florida, United States, for educational and advocacy purposes. The society is known for their goal of historic designation and restoring historical structures important to the history of Boca Raton. The society offers exhibits, lectures, lessons, history tours, and educational programs to achieve their goal. Many interactive educational programs and services of the society are provided to schools, teachers, and children to help educate Florida's history. Additionally, the community provides a library of collected and preserved artifacts, photographs, newspapers, diaries, reference books, and research papers documented for educational and research purposes. The historical society has been a contributor of researching local history of Florida and Boca Raton and offers scholars, educators, university graduates and interns access to their research collection and publications, such as the Spanish Papers. The Boca Raton Historical Museum is publicly open from Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.Located in the Boca Raton Old City Hall, the society and museum resides in the town hall built by architect William Alsmeyer (originally designed by Addison Mizner before his bankruptcy) and was founded in 1972 by the Junior Service League (Currently known as Junior League in Boca Raton.) The society also operates the Boca Express Train Museum and organizes the Florida East Coast Railway Station (currently named Count de Hoernle Pavilion) which was restored to offer public tours about its history. The historical society additionally runs an annual food and wine festival as the beneficiary in Boca Raton called the Boca Bacchanal.

Boca Raton station is an inter-city rail station in Boca Raton, Florida. It is served by Brightline (which codes the station as BOC in routing), which connects Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and by 2023, Orlando. The station is located near Mizner Park, right next to the Boca Raton Public Library, and is 22,000 sq ft (2,000 m2) on a 1.8-acre site. It was opened on December 21, 2022.

Mizner Park is a high-end shopping, residential, and entertainment district located in the affluent downtown neighborhood of Boca Raton, FL. The district consists of a collection of high-end shops and restaurants with luxury apartments built in a Mediterranean Revival architectural style. The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park is located on the north end of the development, which includes an amphitheatre and the Boca Raton Museum of Art. In the fall of 2011, Lord & Taylor announced a store to open at the center. The store opened in the summer of 2013. Cooper Carry designed Mizner as a classical Mediterranean revival town center. It is named for architect Addison Mizner, founder of Boca Raton.

The Boca Express Train Museum, operated by the Boca Raton Historical Society, is housed in a restored 1930 Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) train station in Boca Raton, Florida. designed by Chester G. Henninger, built for Clarence H. Geist. It is located at 747 South Dixie Highway, off U.S. 1 (Federal Highway). On October 24, 1980, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. That the building was restored and turned into a museum must be credited to the philanthropist Countess de Hoernle, who bought the abandoned building as a present for her husband.

The Seaboard Air Line Dining Car-#6113 is a historic Seaboard Air Line Railroad dining car in Boca Raton, Florida. It has been restored, and is located at 747 South Dixie Highway, off U.S. 1, part of the Boca Express Train Museum. On April 5, 2001, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was originally built by the Budd Company in 1947 and could seat 48.

The Seaboard Air Line Lounge Car-6603 is a historic Seaboard Air Line Railroad passenger car in Boca Raton, Florida. It is located at 747 South Dixie Highway, off U.S. 1, part of the restored Florida East Coast Railway Passenger Station. On April 5, 2001, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was originally built by the Budd Company in 1947.

Pearl City is a neighborhood in Boca Raton, Florida, immediately north of downtown. The neighborhood was originally platted on May 30, 1915 for the blue-collar African Americans employed at the Boca Raton Resort and similar establishments, on area farms, in construction, and various other jobs.There is little evidence on the origin of the name, but it is often theorized that Pearl City was named after the Hawaiian pearl pineapple, a major crop grown in the area at the time.

The Administration Buildings are a historic site in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. They are located at 2 East Camino Real. On June 27, 1985, they were added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Built by Addison Mizner as his administration and sales office while he was developing Boca Raton in the 1920s, in 2018 it is the site of a wedding and event venue.

Boca Raton Fire Engine No. 1 is a historic fire engine in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. It is located at 100 South Ocean Boulevard. An American LaFrance built in 1925 and still used for parades and fire safety education, it was added to the US National Register of Historic Places on November 1, 2001. It was later moved from its Ocean Boulevard location to the old Fire Station #2 at 1 Southwest Twelfth Avenue.
