Nowy Chrzanów

Lazurowa is a neighbourhood in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, Poland. It is a housing estate with high-rise apartment buildings, located between Czułchowska, Okrętowa, Sternicza, and Lazurowa Streets, within the City Information System area of Jelonki Południowe. The neighbourhood was constructed between 1975 and 1978.

It is a mixed residential area with low-rise singlefamily neighbourhoods of Stare Jelonki and Nowy Chrzanów, and the high-rise multifamily housing estate of Jelonki, and Lazurowa. It forms a southern portion of the area of Jelonki. Jelonki was founded in the 19th century as a small farming community. In the 1920s, its land was partitioned, and the village was developed as a garden suburb. It was incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. In the 1970s, the housing estates of Jelonki, and Lazurowa, were constructed.

Połczyńska Street (Polish: ulica Połczyńska, lit. Połczyn Street) is a major thoroughfare in Warsaw, Poland. Located in the western part of the city, in the borough of Bemowo, the street crosses the neighbourhoods of Chrzanów and Jelonki. It starts as a continuation of Wolska Street, crosses Powstańców Śląskich Street and leaves the city where it becomes the Poznańska Street of Ożarów Mazowiecki. Historically the street, variously known as the Kalisz Road, Poznań Road or Greater Poland Road, was the main road from Warsaw towards Błonie, Sochaczew, Kalisz and ultimately Poznań. Its entire length was formally incorporated into the city of Warsaw in 1950s.

It includes the Górczewska Park in its centre, and features two stations of the Warsaw Metro, Bemowo and Lazurowa. The neighbourhood was constructed between 1976 and 1981.

The Sándor Petőfi Memorial (Hungarian: [ˈʃaːndor ˈpɛtøːfi]; Polish: Pomnik Sándora Petőfiego; Hungarian: Petőfi Sándor szobor) is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, placed in the Górczewska Park, within the Bemowo district. It consists of a bust sculpture of Sándor Petőfi, a 19th-century poet and liberal revolutionary, who was one of the key figures of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. It was designed by Jerzy Teper, and unveiled on 14 March 2013.

It forms a northern portion of the area of Jelonki. Jelonki was founded in the 19th century at a small farming community. In the 1920s, its land was partitioned, and the village was developed as a garden suburb. It was incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. In 1952, the Frienship Estate, a neighbourhood of wooden houses, was built within its current boundaries, originally providing accommodation for Soviet migrant labourers, and after 1955, for university students and teachers. In the 1970s and 1980s, the housing estate of Górczewska with mid- and high-rise apartment buildings was constructed, within its boundaries.

Chrzanów is a future metro station on the western part of Line M2 of the Warsaw Metro. It is located in the vicinity of Rayskiego and Szeligowska streets, in the Bemowo district. The opening of the station is planned for 2026.The station will be local, mainly servicing nearby flats and houses.

The Castellan Square (Polish: Plac Kasztelański), formerly known as the John III Sobieski Square (Polish: Plac Jana III Sobieskiego), is a small urban square in Warsaw, Poland, within the Bemowo district. It is located in the neighbourhood of Jelonki Północne, between Powstańców Śląskich, Strąkowa, Gimnazjalna, and Legendy Streets. It was built in the 1930s, and originally functioned as a marketplace.
