Columbus Public School Library

Columbus City Center (known locally as City Center) was a 1,250,000 sq ft (116,000 m2), three-level shopping center in Columbus, Ohio. It was located in the city's downtown, near the Ohio Statehouse, next to the Ohio Theatre, and connected to a Hyatt hotel. The mall had a large parking structure attached that, despite the mall's closure in 2009, is still used extensively by downtown workers. The parking structure has been joined, directly or via bridge respectively, to two 12 story structures, 250 S. High Street (completed in January 2016) and 80 on the Commons (80 East Rich Street), both of which feature lower level office spaces with residential spaces on the upper floors. At the time of its opening, City Center was Central Ohio's largest and most upscale shopping mall. However, a combination of factors soon stripped it of this status.

John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons is a 6-acre (2.4 ha) park and green space in downtown Columbus, Ohio, located on the site of the former Columbus City Center mall. The park features gardens, a performance stage, carousel, interactive playground equipment, and two foodservice buildings. The project was developed by Columbus Downtown Development Corporation (CDDC) and Capitol South Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (Capitol South). The park opened on May 26, 2011.On May 11, 2017, Columbus Commons was re-dedicated in honor of community leader John F. Wolfe, who died in 2016, and is now known as the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons.

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) is non-profit arts and theater management organization based in Columbus, Ohio.

The Ohio Theatre is a performing arts center and former movie palace on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Known as the "Official Theatre of the State of Ohio", the 1928 building was saved from demolition in 1969 and was later completely restored. The theater was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977 as one of the nation's finest surviving grand theaters.The Ohio Theatre is owned and operated by the non-profit arts management organization CAPA (The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts), which was originally formed to save the theater in 1969.

Columbus City Hall was the city hall for Columbus, Ohio, located on Capitol Square in the city's downtown. The building served the mayor and city council from its construction in 1872 until its demolition in 1921. The building was the founding site for the United Mine Workers of America in 1890. In 1928, the site became home to the Ohio Theatre, and the current Columbus City Hall opened nearby. This city hall had three floors, including post office and library space on the first floor, meeting rooms and offices on the second, and a large public hall on the third. The building housed Columbus's first public library, from 1873 until it expanded and moved in 1906.

The Midland Building is a 280 ft (85 m) tall skyscraper located at 250 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. The office building was completed in 1970 and has 21 floors. Thomas E. Stanley designed the building, which is the 19th tallest in Columbus.

Capitol Square is a 350-foot-tall (110 m) skyscraper on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was completed in 1984, has 26 floors, and 494,480 sq ft (45,939 m2) of floor space. The building was designed by the architectural firm Abramovitz, Harris & Kingsland and it follows the international and modern architectural styles. Capitol Square is the 13th tallest building in Columbus. The 20-floor Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square is part of the same complex, and is constructed on the former site of the Hartman Building. The statue Naiads is situated in a courtyard between Capitol Square and the Sheraton hotel. West of Capitol Square is a courtyard created in 1984 between the building and the Ohio Theatre, including the Galbreath Pavilion.

Highpoint on Columbus Commons is a $50 million mixed-use development project in Columbus, Ohio consisting of both multi-family and retail space. Highpoint includes 301 apartments and townhomes and has plans for 23,000 square feet of street-level retail fronting on High Street, the main north-south thoroughfare through Columbus, Ohio. Highpoint on Columbus Commons is the first new residential development to occur at Columbus Commons, a seven-acre site in downtown Columbus that stands at the former site of the Columbus City Center mall.

Naiads is a 1984 fountain and sculpture by Jack Greaves, installed by the Capitol Square skyscraper in Columbus, Ohio.

The Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square is a highrise hotel on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building, constructed along with the Capitol Square skyscraper in the 1980s, houses a Sheraton hotel and Starbucks coffee shop. The site was formerly home to the Hartman Building and Hartman Theatre. Sheraton formerly operated in a nearby building in the city's downtown, now known as the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel.

The Hartman Building and Theater was a pair of historic buildings on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The structures were commissioned by Samuel B. Hartman, designed by Richards, McCarty and Bulford in the Renaissance Revival style. The theater was demolished in 1971, followed by the office building in 1981.

Fifth Third Center is a 302 ft-tall (92 m) skyscraper on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was completed in 1998 and has 25 floors. Miller & Reeves designed the building, which is the 17th tallest in Columbus. The skyscraper was designed in a post-modern style. Wells Fargo Bank has filed to foreclose after owner TierREIT defaulted on a mortgage loan.
