Midland Building

Capitol Square is a 350-foot-tall (110 m) skyscraper on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was completed in 1984, has 26 floors, and 494,480 sq ft (45,939 m2) of floor space. The building was designed by the architectural firm Abramovitz, Harris & Kingsland and it follows the international and modern architectural styles. Capitol Square is the 13th tallest building in Columbus. The 20-floor Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square is part of the same complex, and is constructed on the former site of the Hartman Building. The statue Naiads is situated in a courtyard between Capitol Square and the Sheraton hotel. West of Capitol Square is a courtyard created in 1984 between the building and the Ohio Theatre, including the Galbreath Pavilion.

The Hartman Building and Theater was a pair of historic buildings on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The structures were commissioned by Samuel B. Hartman, designed by Richards, McCarty and Bulford in the Renaissance Revival style. The theater was demolished in 1971, followed by the office building in 1981.

The Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square is a highrise hotel on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building, constructed along with the Capitol Square skyscraper in the 1980s, houses a Sheraton hotel and Starbucks coffee shop. The site was formerly home to the Hartman Building and Hartman Theatre. Sheraton formerly operated in a nearby building in the city's downtown, now known as the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel.

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) is non-profit arts and theater management organization based in Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus City Hall was the city hall for Columbus, Ohio, located on Capitol Square in the city's downtown. The building served the mayor and city council from its construction in 1872 until its demolition in 1921. The building was the founding site for the United Mine Workers of America in 1890. In 1928, the site became home to the Ohio Theatre, and the current Columbus City Hall opened nearby. This city hall had three floors, including post office and library space on the first floor, meeting rooms and offices on the second, and a large public hall on the third. The building housed Columbus's first public library, from 1873 until it expanded and moved in 1906.

The Ohio Theatre is a performing arts center and former movie palace on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Known as the "Official Theatre of the State of Ohio", the 1928 building was saved from demolition in 1969 and was later completely restored. The theater was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977 as one of the nation's finest surviving grand theaters.The Ohio Theatre is owned and operated by the non-profit arts management organization CAPA (The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts), which was originally formed to save the theater in 1969.

The Columbus Public School Library was a two-story building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It operated as the school library and administrative offices for the Columbus Public School District from 1892 to 1912. The library was established in the former First Methodist Episcopal Church, built in 1853 and extensively renovated for the district's use. The library opened in April 1892 and its ceiling collapsed in September 1912, leading to the building's demolition in 1913.

Second Presbyterian Church (also known as Central Presbyterian Church) is a historic church building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1857 in a Romanesque style and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It closed on November, 2011. The site was previously the location of the first public school in Columbus, built in 1826.The building was acquired by Columbus Association for the Performing Arts in 2013, and is being repurposed as a performance venue. CAPA CEO William Conner Jr. said the church building is "acoustically near perfect".

Columbus City Center (known locally as City Center) was a 1,250,000 sq ft (116,000 m2), three-level shopping center in Columbus, Ohio. It was located in the city's downtown, near the Ohio Statehouse, next to the Ohio Theatre, and connected to a Hyatt hotel. The mall had a large parking structure attached that, despite the mall's closure in 2009, is still used extensively by downtown workers. The parking structure has been joined, directly or via bridge respectively, to two 12 story structures, 250 S. High Street (completed in January 2016) and 80 on the Commons (80 East Rich Street), both of which feature lower level office spaces with residential spaces on the upper floors. At the time of its opening, City Center was Central Ohio's largest and most upscale shopping mall. However, a combination of factors soon stripped it of this status.

The United States Post Office and Courthouse is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The structure was built from 1884 to 1887 as the city's main post office. The building also served as a courthouse of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio from its completion in 1887 until 1934, when the court moved to the Joseph P. Kinneary United States Courthouse. The building was tripled in size from 1907 to 1912, and was rehabilitated for use as the Bricker & Eckler law offices in 1986, and today houses the same law firm. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1982.

The Ohio Holocaust and Liberators Memorial is a bronze and steel Holocaust memorial installed on the Ohio Statehouse grounds, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. It was unveiled by Governor John Kasich and architect Daniel Libeskind on June 2, 2014.
