The Yomiuri Shimbun Building (読売新聞ビル) is a skyscraper located in Ōtemachi, Tokyo, Japan.The construction of the 200-meter tower was finished in 2013. The building houses the Tokyo headquarters of the Yomiuri Shimbun, a daily newspaper that is part of the Yomiuri Group, Japan's largest media conglomerate. The building is also referred to as the Yomiuri Newspaper Tokyo Head Office Building (読売新聞東京本社ビル).

The Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED; Japanese: 日本医療研究開発機構), created in April 2015, is an independent Japanese medical research and development organization, overseen by the Office of Healthcare Policy of Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). AMED has a headquarters in the Chiyoda City district of Tokyo and international offices in London, Singapore, and Washington D.C.

Ōtemachi (大手町) is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is located north of Tokyo Station and Marunouchi, east of the Imperial Palace, west of Nihonbashi and south of Kanda. It is the location of the former site of the village of Shibazaki, the most ancient part of Tokyo. Ōtemachi is known as a center of Japanese journalism, housing the main offices of three of the "big five" newspapers as well as being a key financial center and headquarters for large Japanese corporations. It is also the location of the Japan Postal Museum (TeiPark). The Tokyo Fire Department is headquartered in Ōtemachi.

The Japan Business Federation (日本経済団体連合会, Nippon Keizai-dantai Rengōkai) is an economic organization founded in May 2002 by amalgamation of Keidanren (経済団体連合会, Japan Federation of Economic Organizations, established 1946; name sometimes used alone as abbreviation for whole organization) and Nikkeiren (日本経営者団体連盟, Japan Federation of Employers' Associations, established 1948), with Nikkeiren being absorbed into Keidanren.The federation is commonly referred to as "Keidanren", its 1,601 members consist of 1,281 companies, 129 industrial associations, and 47 regional economic organizations (as of June 15, 2010).For most of the post-war period, Keidanren has been the voice of big business in Japan and is generally considered the most conservative of the country's three major private sector led business associations. The other two organizations are the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (日本商工会議所) and the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (経済同友会). According to the organization's official website, the mission of the Keidanren is to: accelerate growth of Japan's and the world's economy, and to strengthen the corporations to create additional value to transform the Japanese economy into one that is sustainable and driven by the private sector by encouraging the ideas of individuals and local communities. The current chairman is Masakazu Tokura of Sumitomo Chemical. He has been chairman of The Japan Business Federation since June 2021.

The Otemachi Tower (大手町タワー, Big Hand Town Tower) is a high-rise office building with integrated retail and restaurant facilities located in the Otemachi business district in Chiyoda ward, Tokyo. The 38-story tower serves as the headquarters of Mizuho Bank. A luxury hotel facility operated by Aman Resorts occupies the top six floors of the tower.

The Tokyo Fire Department (TFD) (Japanese: 東京消防庁, Tokyo Shōbōchō) is a fire department headquartered in Ōtemachi, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. The TFD was formed on March 7, 1948, and is responsible for protecting the Tokyo Metropolis Area. The Fire Department is the largest urban fire department in the world. Covering the 23 Wards of Tokyo and parts of Western Tokyo, it provides assistance in case of fires, biological, chemical, and radioactive hazards, as well as earthquakes and flooding. First response for medical practices and all types of rescues are also provided. The department handles varied challenges from urban settings to mountain forests. The department is part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. However, this department is distinguished from Fire and Disaster Management Agency, which is an external agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

Otemachi Station (大手町駅, Ōtemachi-eki) is a subway station in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, jointly operated by Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway. It is served by five lines, more than any other station on the Tokyo underground network, and is thus the biggest subway station in Tokyo. It is Tokyo Metro's second busiest station after Ikebukuro.Otemachi is within walking distance (either at street level or via underground passages) of Tokyo Station.

Uchi-Kanda (内神田) is a district in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. As of March 1, 2008, its population is 1,277.Located in the northern part of Chiyoda, the Uchi-Kanda district borders Kanda-Mitoshirochō, Kanda-Tsukasamachi, Kanda-Tachō and Kanda-Kajichō to the north, Kajichō to the east, Nihonbashi-Hongokuchō, Chūō to the southeast, Ōtemachi to the south, and Kanda-Nishikichō to the west. Today, Uchi-Kanda is a commercial neighborhood with a number of office buildings and stores. The Japanese division of American Megatrends has its offices in Uchi-Kanda.

The Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (INCJ) (株式会社産業革新機構, Kabushiki-gaisha Sangyō Kakushin Kikō), headquartered in Tokyo, is a public-private partnership between the Japanese government and 19 major corporations. The INCJ was established as a temporary (15 years) corporate entity on July 27, 2009; with the prime objective of "boosting the competitiveness of Japanese firms by promoting a philosophy of 'open innovation' and creating next-generation businesses in promising new technologies by providing capital and managerial support, through private-public partnership."The business and investments of INCJ are supervised by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI).
