Second Baptist Church (Columbus, Ohio)

The Edna is a historic building in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1905 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. The three-story brick building has 8,694 sq ft (807.7 m2). It was associated with the migration of African Americans to northern cities, including then-segregated Columbus. Businesses at the time had to cater to Blacks or whites; this building housed the Fireside Mutual Aid Association, an insurance company for Black residents. The building later housed the African American newspaper the Ohio Sentinel, as well as the Dukes and Duchesses, a private upscale social club for African Americans. The building is now owned by the City of Columbus, which requested proposals for the property from developers in 2009.In 2022, it was announced that the county land bank, the Central Ohio Community Improvement Corporation, will purchase, restore, and move into the building, and use some space in the building to rent to other organizations. The project is estimated to be completed in spring 2023 at a cost of $2.5-3 million.

King-Lincoln Bronzeville is a historically African American neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. Originally known as Bronzeville by the residents of the community, it was renamed the King-Lincoln District by Mayor Michael B. Coleman's administration to highlight the historical significance of the district's King Arts Complex and Lincoln Theatre, amid collaborations with investors and developers to revitalize the neighborhood.In 2009, the King-Lincoln Bronzeville Neighborhood Association asked that the neighborhood be renamed to Bronzeville to reflect its history.

St. Mark's Masonic Temple No. 7 of the Prince Hall Free & Accepted Masons is a Masonic temple in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, associated with the Prince Hall Freemasons. It was added to the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 2009. It was listed under the register's Criterion B, for being closely and publicly identified with people who contributed to the cultural, architectural, or historical development of the city, state, or nation. Founding members of the lodge were part of the Underground Railroad network in Central Ohio and the Midwest.The lodge is the oldest Prince Hall Masonic Lodge in Columbus and the fourth-oldest in Ohio.

The Vincent Walters House-Walters Music Academy is a historic house and former music academy in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.The music academy was founded in 1942 by Vincent Rodgers Walters, a graduate of Central High School, Virginia State, and the Ohio State University. Walters operated the music academy at the site for decades.The house, in the historic Black neighborhood of King-Lincoln Bronzeville, is currently owned by Jodi Spencer. Spencer spent years working to save the building, and was involved in its nomination to the National Register.

The Theresa Building is a historic building in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1925 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.The building is located on a commercial corridor on Long Street, east of Downtown Columbus. It was built by James Albert Jackson and James Williams. Jackson had noticed a shortage of office space for Black professionals alongside an increasing population as Blacks left the South during the Great Migration.The two-story commercial structure was designed by George W. Abernethy in the Mission and Spanish Colonial Revival styles. It is made of brick with limestone trim, arched window frames and doorways, and an overhanging red Spanish tile roof.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Performing and Cultural Arts Complex is a historic building in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1925 as the Pythian Temple and James Pythian Theater, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places and Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1983. The building was renovated into the King Arts Complex in 1987, and was vacated in 2019. Community leaders restored the building's use as an arts center in 2021.

The house and office were listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1984. The house, built in the late 19th century, is noted for its age and intricate architecture. It is considered historically significant for its place in Columbus's African American culture, as a social club, daycare center, bed-and-breakfast, and as the Garden Manor Cultural Arts Center.

Broad St. Multiple Resources Area on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, removed in 1987 due to owner objection, and re-added in 2003. The building is part of the 18th & E. Kauffman House was built at a time when East Broad Street was a tree-lined avenue featuring the most ornate houses in Columbus; the house reflects the character of the area at the time. The building is also part of the 18th & E. Broad Historic District on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties, added to the register in 1988. The house was home to Linus B. Kauffman, vice president of the Kauffman-Lattimer Company, from 1907 to 1931. His widow outlived him, residing there until 1936.

Schueller House was built at a time when East Broad Street was a tree-lined avenue featuring the most ornate houses in Columbus; the house reflects the character of the area at the time. The building is also part of the 18th & E. Broad Historic District on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties, added to the register in 1988. The house was home to physician Erwin W. Schueller from its completion until 1924. His wife continued living in the home until the 1940s, after which the building was converted for office use.

The Beatty-Moore House is a historic house in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023. The two and a half-story building was designed in the Arts and Crafts style and was constructed between 1900 and 1903.

The Broad Street Apartments are buildings on Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio, in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood. They are near the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD), along with the Columbus State Community College. The property is also part of the 18th & E. Broad Historic District of the Columbus Register of Historic Properties.
