Huaca Huantinamarca

Huaca Casa Rosada is an archaeological site located in San Miguel District, in Lima, Peru, which occupies a total of 5300 square meters in the current urban area. The site presents evidence of human occupation from the Intermediate period to the Inca period and remains from the Spanish colonial and Republican periods.

San Miguel is one of the 43 districts that are part of the Lima province and is part of the urban area of Lima, Peru. It is bordered by the districts of Bellavista and downtown Lima on the north; Pueblo Libre, Magdalena del Mar and downtown Lima on the east; the Pacific Ocean on the south; and the La Perla district on the west. It is located 20 to 30 min from the airport (depending on the traffic). San Miguel is an upper-class (65% of its population) and upper-middle class (35%) district with a very high HDI.Its main avenues – La Marina, Universitaria and Elmer Faucett – are important economic centres. Plaza San Miguel mall, some hypermarkets and department stores are located in the intersection of La Marina and Universitaria. The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the Plaza San Miguel and the Parque de las Leyendas, Lima's main zoo, are located in this district. Its current mayor is Juan José Guevara (2019-2022) The weather in San Miguel is moderately different from the other districts: it is often windy, cloudy and has lower temperature.

It is currently in the period of cessation of activities due to the fact that the Superintendencia Nacional de Educación Superior Universitaria (Sunedu) denied his licensing.

Parque de las Leyendas is a zoo in the San Miguel district of Lima, Peru. The zoo contain 215 species of mammals, reptiles and birds, with a total of 2071 animals.

Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Spanish: Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, PUCP) is a private university in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1917 with the support and approval of the Catholic Church, being the oldest private institution of higher learning in the country. The person who dealt the necessary formalities was Catholic priest Jorge Dintilhac. The Peruvian historian and politician José de la Riva-Agüero y Osma would become his main benefactor by leaving him most of his assets as an inheritance, as it was then a more religious educational institution and linked to the Catholic Church; in contrast to his alma mater and original destination of his inheritance, the National University of San Marcos, where Riva-Agüero considered that liberal ideas and atheism predominated here. In July 2012, after an apostolic visitation, begun earlier, in 2011, by Peter Erdo, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, Hungary, the Holy See withdrew from the university the right under canon law to use the titles Catholic and Pontifical in its name. Titles like "Catholic" and "Pontifical" are granted by the Vatican only after meeting legal requirements. In 2014 Pope Francis formed a Commission of Cardinals to find a 'final, consensual solution between the Vatican and the university, comprising Cardinal Erdo, Gérald Lacroix, archbishop of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, and Ricardo Ezzati Andrello, archbishop of Santiago de Chile, Chile. In 2016, the Vatican restored the lost titles and determined that the archbishop of Lima would not assume the position of Chancellor of the university. Archbishop of Lima, Juan Luis Cipriani, was the main advocate of the Vatican interests. As of December 2018 those authorities faced charges, and Rector Marcial Rubio had to resign after a scandal of fraud, usury, and keeping two sets of accounts.

Magdalena del Mar, commonly known simply as Magdalena, is a seaside district of the Lima Province in Peru and one of the districts that comprise the city of Lima. Its current mayor is Francis Allison Oyague. Magdalena was officially established as a district on May 10, 1920.

Coliseo Polideportivo is an indoor arena located in Lima, Peru, that is under construction. It was scheduled to be completed in July 2011, and have a seating capacity of 11,320 spectators. It will host some matches for the 2011 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship. but this work was never carried out, in its place it was built the National Sports Village: VIDENA in 2019.

The Mosque of Lima, also known as the Mosque of Magdalena del Mar, is a mosque in Lima, Peru. It is one of two mosques in the country, the other being Bab al-Islam Mosque.It was erected in the areas of a mansion in 1986 by the Palestinian community in the Magdalena del Mar district of the city. The religious building is open to the general public.

The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Spanish: Iglesia del Inmaculado Corazón de María), commonly known as The Dome (Spanish: La Cúpula), is a Catholic church located in the intersection of Antonio José de Sucre Avenue and Jirón 28 de Julio, in Magdalena del Mar District, Lima, Peru. The work was conceived by the Claretian priest Simón Llobet. Since 1957, the year of its inauguration, it has become one of the most visible religious and architectural symbols of the city despite its great demographic growth. It is the tallest church in Lima. The works were financed through donations and charitable events.

The Larco Museum (officially known as Rafael Larco Herrera Archaeological Museum, in Spanish: Museo Arqueológico Rafael Larco Herrera) is a privately owned museum of pre-Columbian art, located in the Pueblo Libre District of Lima, Peru. The museum is housed in an 18th-century vice-royal building. It showcases chronological galleries that provide a thorough overview of 5,000 years of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. It is well known for its gallery of pre-Columbian erotic pottery.
