The Monument to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Spanish: Monumento al Inmaculado Corazón de María) is a monument in Magdalena del Mar District, Lima, Peru.

The Mosque of Lima, also known as the Mosque of Magdalena del Mar, is a mosque in Lima, Peru. It is one of two mosques in the country, the other being Bab al-Islam Mosque.It was erected in the areas of a mansion in 1986 by the Palestinian community in the Magdalena del Mar district of the city. The religious building is open to the general public.

The Huaca Huantinamarca is an archaeological site of the Ichma culture located in San Miguel District, in Lima, Peru. It is located on the first block of the Avenue Brígida Silva de Ochoa. On March 27, 2002, through National Directorial Resolution No. 233, the National Institute of Culture (INC) declared Huaca Huantinamarca as Cultural Patrimony of the Nation.It is located in the lower valley of the Rímac River, 50 meters above sea level, on the periphery of the Maranga archaeological complex. This building occupies approximately 1,500 square meters and was constructed on an area of 3,652 square meters. It has the particularity of being a truncated pyramid of a monumental nature that was built, remodelled and transformed over the years, which gives it an architectural complexity. The building is composed of various patios, enclosures and corridors, which were built during different moments in its history; and on a base of walls made of mud through a technique known as ”tapial corrido".The huaca is surrounded by the ”Parques de la Huaca” condominium, as part of a public park, and, thanks to the work of the municipality, is considered by the neighbourhood as part of their cultural identity and history, motivating its conservation for future generations.

The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Spanish: Iglesia del Inmaculado Corazón de María), commonly known as The Dome (Spanish: La Cúpula), is a Catholic church located in the intersection of Antonio José de Sucre Avenue and Jirón 28 de Julio, in Magdalena del Mar District, Lima, Peru. The work was conceived by the Claretian priest Simón Llobet. Since 1957, the year of its inauguration, it has become one of the most visible religious and architectural symbols of the city despite its great demographic growth. It is the tallest church in Lima. The works were financed through donations and charitable events.

The Seminario de Lima or Seminary of Lima Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo (founded 7 December 1590) is the major seminary for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lima and provides training for those studying for the priesthood. Headquartered in Lima, Peru, it can be considered one of the oldest seminaries on the American continent; it was founded on December 7, 1590, by Archbishop Toribio de Mogrovejo. The seminary receives young people who want to be priests. Priests graduating from the seminary serve the Roman Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the Archbishop.

San Miguel is one of the 43 districts that are part of the Lima province and is part of the urban area of Lima, Peru. It is bordered by the districts of Bellavista and downtown Lima on the north; Pueblo Libre, Magdalena del Mar and downtown Lima on the east; the Pacific Ocean on the south; and the La Perla district on the west. It is located 20 to 30 min from the airport (depending on the traffic). Plaza San Miguel mall, some hypermarkets and department stores are located in the intersection of La Marina and Universitaria. The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the Plaza San Miguel and the Parque de las Leyendas, Lima's main zoo, are located in this district. Its current mayor is Juan José Guevara (2019-2022) The weather in San Miguel is moderately different from the other districts: it is often windy, cloudy and has lower temperature.

Founded on December 21, 1964, during the first government of President Fernando Belaúnde Terry. It is currently in the period of cessation of activities due to the fact that the Superintendencia Nacional de Educación Superior Universitaria (Sunedu) denied his licensing.

La Cruz del Viajero (The Cross of the Traveller) is a monumental cross located in what now Pueblo Libre, a district of the city of Lima, Peru. It was erected in 1579 by Catholic missionaries. Travellers would stop at the cross to ask for protection on the road to the port of Callao, a route which was beset by bandits. In 1759 the cross was moved 100 metres from its original location to a plaza that bears its name on the corner of Torre Tagle and Julio C. Tello streets. Both José de San Martín and Simón Bolívar are said to have knelt before the cross.The cross was declared a Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación (Cultural Patrimony of the Nation) in 1998.
