54th/Cermak station

Laramie was a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's "L" system on the Douglas Branch while it was a branch of the Blue Line. The station closed on February 9, 1992, because of service cuts that resulted from budget problems. It was temporarily put back into service on February 25, 2002, for the Douglas Rehabilitation Project while the terminal at 54th/Cermak was being rebuilt. It was again closed before the new station at 54th/Cermak opened on August 16, 2003. However, the station was never demolished because it was considered historic.

Cicero Stadium is a multipurpose arena located in Cicero, Illinois. It serves as a recreation and community center for the town. It has mainly been known for being the home of the Chicago Red Hots of USA Roller Sports from 2012 to 2018 and the Chicago Outfit Roller Derby from 2007 to 2020 and the Windy City Rollers of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association from 2004 to 2008, and the National Hellenic Invitational Basketball Tournament from the late 1940s to 1998.

Per the 2020 census, the population was 85,268. making it the 11th largest municipality in Illinois. The town of Cicero is named after Marcus Tullius Cicero, a Roman statesman and orator.

Klas was a restaurant in Cicero, Illinois, founded in 1922 and shuttered in 2016, which specialized in Bohemian cuisine. The restaurant served numerous high ranking Czech and American officials, along with many other notable individuals, and has served as an important institution for the Czech American community. The building was demolished in 2022.

50th Avenue was a Chicago 'L' station on the Douglas branch of the Chicago Transit Authority's West-Northwest Route, currently known as the Pink Line. The station was located at 50th Avenue and 21st Place in west suburban Cicero. It opened on August 16, 1910, as part of an extension of service of the Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railroad to Laramie. The station closed in 1978 and it was moved to the Illinois Railway Museum where it is preserved.

J. Sterling Morton High School East (often called Morton East) is a public secondary school located in Cicero, Illinois. Morton East is one of three schools in J. Sterling Morton High School District 201. Morton East is a sophomore through senior building, with future students attending the J. Sterling Morton Freshman Center for one year. Morton East's sister school, J. Sterling Morton High School West is a four-year secondary school. From 1920–59, the school operated as Morton High School, changing its name when Morton West opened. The district and its schools are named after Julius Sterling Morton because he was friends with Cicero resident and fur trader Portus Baxter Weare.In the high school district students living east of Ridgeland Avenue are zoned to Morton East; areas east of Ridgeland Avenue include Cicero and a small portion of Berwyn. There are small sections of Stickney and Forest View, but no Stickney residents live in that section.

The Hawthorne Smoke Shop (later known as the Ship) was a gambling casino owned by American gangster Al Capone and run by fellow gangsters Frankie Pope and Pete Penovich. It was located in Cicero, Illinois, where Capone had fled to escape Chicago police. Although shut down temporarily by raids several times during its existence, it provided a significant amount of revenue, earning half a million dollars in a two-year period. Leslie Shumway, a cashier who worked there, testified in court that horse betting, roulette, craps, blackjack, and birdcage (chuck-a-luck) all took place there. The profits from the Hawthorne Smoke Shop were one piece of evidence used against Capone at his trial in 1931.

J. Sterling Morton High School East Auditorium, also known as Chodl Auditorium, is a Beaux-Arts building in Cicero, Illinois that was built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. With a seating capacity of 2,545 the Chodl Auditorium was a popular place for community events and high school productions. It was the largest high school auditorium and non-commercial stage in the state. The stage, in fact, was big enough to serve as a regulation basketball floor. Theatrical productions were staged in the fall and spring when gym classes were held outside. On September 18, 2013, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performed their 2013 Community Concert at Chodl Auditorium. More than 2,000 individuals attended the concert, including Illinois Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon and local dignitaries.

Cicero is a station on Metra's BNSF Line, located in Cicero, Illinois. The station is 7.0 miles (11.3 km) away from Union Station, the eastern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Cicero is in zone B. As of 2018, Cicero is the 176th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 136 weekday boardings. The station is located east of the Cicero Railroad Yard, and several blocks south of the Cicero station on the Cermak Branch of the Chicago 'L''s Pink Line. Metra rebuilt the station's platforms and shelters in 2010.

Clyde was a station on Metra's BNSF Railway Line. The station was located at 29th Street and Austin Boulevard, in Cicero, Illinois. Clyde was 8.5 miles (13.7 km) from Union Station, the eastern terminus of the BNSF railway line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Clyde was located in zone B, on the west end of the Cicero Railroad Yard. Clyde closed on April 1, 2007, due to low ridership; to compensate for the loss of the station, Metra announced that it would rehabilitate the adjacent Cicero and LaVergne stations.Ridership was only 64 passengers on an average weekday around the time of the station's closure
