Midwest Christian College was a private, Christian college established in 1946 in Oklahoma City. During its first year, it enrolled thirty-three students. After peaking in the 1970s and '80s, it experienced a period of declining enrollment and financial difficulty. It merged in 1985 with Ozark Bible College of Joplin, Missouri to form Ozark Christian College.

KOCM (channel 46) is a religious television station licensed to Norman, Oklahoma, United States, serving the Oklahoma City area as an owned-and-operated station of the Daystar Television Network. The station's offices and master control facilities are located on 72nd Avenue Northeast in Norman, and its transmitter is located near the John Kilpatrick Turnpike/I-44 in northeast Oklahoma City. The station first signed on the air in 2003, and was built and signed on by Daystar through Word of God Fellowship.

The transmitter is on the Northeast side on Ridgeway Road off NE 78th Street.Programming on WWLS-FM is simulcast on AM 930 WKY Oklahoma City. Many of the shows are also heard on "Sports Animal" stations in Tulsa (FM 99.9 and AM 1550), Muskogee (FM 97.1 and AM 1490), Elk City (1240 AM) and Woodward (AM 1450).

The Hall of Great Westerners was established by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in 1958. Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, U.S., the Hall was created to celebrate the contributions of more than 200 men and women of the American West. The Hambrick Botanical Gardens are botanical gardens located on the grounds of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63rd Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There are four gardens on the grounds: the Norma Sutherland Garden with waterfall, ponds, and natural vegetation; the Atherton Garden; the Western States Plaza with flower beds and water feature; and the Hambrick Garden with streams, trees, flower beds, and sculptures including Paint Mare and Filly.
