Maubec (French pronunciation: [mobɛk]; Occitan: Maubèc) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.

Robion (French pronunciation: [ʁɔbjɔ̃]) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. The new part of the village runs along the D2 road, and the old part of the village is clustered at the foot of the Luberon mountain.

Mérindol (French pronunciation: [meʁɛ̃dɔl]; Occitan: Merindòu) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. The village, located south of the Luberon massif, has some prominence in the plain of the Durance river which demarcates the Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhône departments. This plain has allowed the municipality to develop an agriculture which remains relatively important for its economy. Its history, like that of several other villages in the Luberon, was marked by the French Wars of Religion.

The Mérindol massacre took place in 1545, when Francis I of France ordered the Waldensians of the village of Mérindol to be punished for heresy. Provençal and papal soldiers killed hundreds or even thousands of Waldensian villagers.

Taillades (French pronunciation: [tajad]; Occitan: Lei Talhadas) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is 5 km (3.1 mi) east of Cavaillon, and 40 km (25 mi) south east of Avignon. Situated in the Luberon, the village covers 675 hectares of which 320 are mountainside. It has a population of about 1,900 inhabitants. The village was awarded the 'two flowers' standard in the national competition for floral villages.

The Luberon (French pronunciation: [lyb(ə)ʁɔ̃] or [lybeʁɔ̃]; Provençal: Leberon (classical norm) or Leberoun (Mistralian norm)) is a massif in central Provence in Southern France, part of the French Prealps. It has a maximum elevation of 1,256 metres (4,121 ft) and an area of about 600 square kilometres (230 sq mi). It is composed of three mountain ranges (from west to east): Lesser Luberon (Petit Luberon), Greater Luberon (Grand Luberon) and Eastern Luberon (Luberon oriental). The valleys north and south of them contain a number of towns and villages as well as agricultural land; the northern part is marked by the Calavon, while the southern part is characterised by the Durance. The Luberon is often advertised under the name Lubéron (with an acute accent on top of the "e"); some dictionaries justify that the two spellings are interchangeable. The total number of inhabitants varies greatly between winter and summer, due to a massive influx of tourists during the warm season. It is a favourite destination for French high society and British and American visitors because of the pleasant and picturesque towns and villages, comfortable way of life, agricultural wealth, historical and cultural associations, as well as hiking trails. Samuel Beckett notably lived in Cave Bonelly, a vineyard near to Roussillon, during World War II. In the last two decades the Luberon has become known in the English-speaking world especially through a series of books by British author Peter Mayle chronicling his life as an expatriate settled in the Luberon village of Ménerbes. These are titled A Year in Provence, Toujours Provence and Encore Provence. Another of Mayle's books, a novel set in the Luberon, was made into a film called A Good Year (2006) directed by Ridley Scott, starring Russell Crowe and filmed in the region.

Mallemort (French pronunciation: [malmɔʁ]; Occitan: Malamòrt) is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in southern France. Mallemort is a quiet town located on the river Durance, south of the Luberon mountain range. The town itself is 10 km (6.2 mi) off the Autoroute du Soleil (the main motorway to the South and Marseille), within easy reach of Arles, Saint-Rémy, and Salon-de-Provence.

The canton of Cheval-Blanc is an administrative division of the Vaucluse department, in southeastern France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Cheval-Blanc. It consists of the following communes:

The Arboretum du Font de l'Orme is an arboretum located near the Gorges du Régalon in Font de l'Orme, Mérindol, Vaucluse, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. The arboretum contains about 20 species of identified trees, including four species of Mediterranean pine, and the forest house of the Font de l'Orme.

Cheval-Blanc (French pronunciation: [ʃəval blɑ̃]; Occitan: Lo Chivau Blanc) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is the seat of the Canton of Cheval-Blanc.
