NAC Stadion Heuvelstraat is a football stadium in Breda, Netherlands. It is used for football matches, hosted the home matches of NAC Breda and is now homeground of RKSV Groen Wit. The stadium was able to hold 5,500 people and opened in 1931.

The Rat Verlegh Stadion (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌrɑt fərˈlɛx ˌstaːdijɔn]) is a multi-purpose stadium in Breda, Netherlands. The stadium is the home of the association football club NAC Breda (1996 to present). It was formerly known as FUJIFILM Stadium (1996–2003) and Mycom Stadium (2003–2006), named after two former NAC sponsors. In 2006 NAC Breda named the stadium after its most famous NAC Player, Antoon Verlegh. The stadium was built from 1995 to 1996 at a cost of € 13.2 million, and was officially opened on 11 August 1996. It has been used for association football, concerts, and other events. It has a capacity of 19,000 fans, including 1,500 standing room-only, for sports matches. The stadium has been used for several Intertoto matches, UEFA Cup matches and international matches. Concerts have also been held at the Rat Verlegh stadion.

Mirabelle is a defunct restaurant located in the Mirabella Estate in Breda, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1959 and retained that rating until 1967.In recent years the restaurant came into hot water. Mostly depending on business guest, it went bankrupt in April 2009. The restaurant was bought by Trudi Splinter and reopened in January 2010. Instead of reaching the culinary top, as was their aim, the restaurant closed down in June 2012, due to bankruptcy of owner "Santé Group".

NAC Stadion was a multi-use stadium in Breda, Netherlands. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of NAC Breda. The stadium was able to hold 20,000 people and opened in 1940. The stadium's capacity was gradually reduced to 10,850 in the nineties, due to security reasons. The stadium was closed in 1996 when the Rat Verlegh Stadion opened.

The neighbourhood originated as a village so the neighbourhood council or village council, managed to get the neighbourhood, within the municipality council, appointed as a village. Therefor men speaks of "Princenhage Village in Breda".

The Aa of Weerijs (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌaː ʔɔf ˈʋeːrɛis]) is a river in Belgium and Netherlands, where it arises from the confluence of the Great Aa (in Wuustwezel) and the Small Aa (in Brecht). In Breda (which means the broad Aa) it is the river in the canals of this city. The name Broad Aa is a reference to its confluence with the Upper Mark. The conjoined rivers continue flowing as the Mark. The width of the Aa of Weerijs varies from 5 meters to the border with Belgium up to 15 meters in Breda. The valley is about 3 kilometers wide.

The Grote Kerk or Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk (Church of Our Lady) is the most important monument and a landmark of Breda. The church is built in the Brabantine Gothic style. The tower of the church is 97 meters tall. The plan is in the shape of a Latin Cross.

The name derived from brede Aa ('wide Aa' or 'broad Aa') and refers to the confluence of the rivers Mark and Aa. Breda has 185,072 inhabitants on 13 September 2022 and is part of the Brabantse Stedenrij; it is the ninth largest city/municipality in the country, and the third largest in North Brabant after Eindhoven and Tilburg. The Royal Military Academy (Dutch: Koninklijke Militaire Academie or KMA) is the service academy for the Dutch Army, the Dutch Air Force and the Royal Marechaussee. Located in Breda, Southern Netherlands, the KMA has trained future officers since 1828.

The St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral (Dutch: Kathedrale Sint Antonius van Paduakerk) or Cathedral of St. Anthony, is the Roman Catholic cathedral of the Diocese of Breda, located in the city of Breda, in the Netherlands.The church of Sint Antonius is called Waterstaatskerk, because its construction was paid largely by the government and conducted under the supervision of civil engineers. The church was built in 1837 by architect Peter Huijsers in neoclassical style, as is evident on the front façade, can be distinguished from the bottom up Doric, Ionic and Corinthian elements, while the pediment under the bell tower resembles a Greek temple. In 1853, the church. was elevated to the status of cathedral in 1853. In 1876, it was no longer a cathedral as St. Barbara's Church became the cathedral for the diocese., In 1968, St. Barbara Cathedral closed and St Michael's Church became the cathedral. St Michael's Cathedral was later demolished and on 1 January 2001, the St. Anthony's Church once again became the cathedral, at the request of bishop Muskens.

The Stedelijk Museum Breda, formerly the Museum of the Image (MOTI), is a national museum for visual culture in Breda in the Netherlands. The museum focuses on film, design, photography, fashion, visual arts, architecture, science, and gaming. MOTI closed from 1 January 2017 with the intention of reopening the building in spring 2017 as Stedelijk Museum Breda, a merger with Breda's Museum.
