Mirabelle is a defunct restaurant located in the Mirabella Estate in Breda, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1959 and retained that rating until 1967.In recent years the restaurant came into hot water. Mostly depending on business guest, it went bankrupt in April 2009. The restaurant was bought by Trudi Splinter and reopened in January 2010. Instead of reaching the culinary top, as was their aim, the restaurant closed down in June 2012, due to bankruptcy of owner "Santé Group".

NAC Stadion Heuvelstraat is a football stadium in Breda, Netherlands. It is used for football matches, hosted the home matches of NAC Breda and is now homeground of RKSV Groen Wit. The stadium was able to hold 5,500 people and opened in 1931.

The Maczek Memorial Breda is a museum in Breda, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands. It tells the story of the liberation of Breda in 1944 by the First Polish Armoured Division led by General Stanisław Maczek. The museum was opened in 2020.

The Rat Verlegh Stadion (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌrɑt fərˈlɛx ˌstaːdijɔn]) is a multi-purpose stadium in Breda, Netherlands. The stadium is the home of the association football club NAC Breda (1996 to present). It was formerly known as FUJIFILM Stadium (1996–2003) and Mycom Stadium (2003–2006), named after two former NAC sponsors. In 2006 NAC Breda named the stadium after its most famous NAC Player, Antoon Verlegh. The stadium was built from 1995 to 1996 at a cost of € 13.2 million, and was officially opened on 11 August 1996. It has been used for association football, concerts, and other events. It has a capacity of 19,000 fans, including 1,500 standing room-only, for sports matches. The stadium has been used for several Intertoto matches, UEFA Cup matches and international matches. Concerts have also been held at the Rat Verlegh stadion.

Prinsenbeek is a village and a former municipality in the Dutch province North Brabant. The village is situated west of the motorway A16 (Rotterdam–Antwerp) and the TGV line Amsterdam–Paris. Prinsenbeek is a part of the municipality Breda, and it has 11,419 inhabitants (2005). There is a train station on the line Rotterdam–Breda. During the carnival, Prinsenbeek is called Boemeldonck (slowtrainswamp).

Breda-Prinsenbeek is a railway station located in Haagse Beemden (Breda) near Prinsenbeek, Netherlands. The station was opened in 1988 and is located on the Breda–Rotterdam railway. The station is currently operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

The Aa of Weerijs (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌaː ʔɔf ˈʋeːrɛis]) is a river in Belgium and Netherlands, where it arises from the confluence of the Great Aa (in Wuustwezel) and the Small Aa (in Brecht). In Breda (which means the broad Aa) it is the river in the canals of this city. The name Broad Aa is a reference to its confluence with the Upper Mark. The conjoined rivers continue flowing as the Mark. The width of the Aa of Weerijs varies from 5 meters to the border with Belgium up to 15 meters in Breda. The valley is about 3 kilometers wide.

The Grote Kerk or Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk (Church of Our Lady) is the most important monument and a landmark of Breda. The church is built in the Brabantine Gothic style. The tower of the church is 97 meters tall. The plan is in the shape of a Latin Cross.

Breda ( BRAY-də, also UK: BREE-də, US: bray-DAH, Dutch: [breːˈdaː] ) is a city and municipality in the southern part of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Brabant. The name derived from brede Aa ('wide Aa' or 'broad Aa') and refers to the confluence of the rivers Mark and Aa. Breda has 185,072 inhabitants on 13 September 2022 and is part of the Brabantse Stedenrij; it is the ninth largest city/municipality in the country, and the third largest in North Brabant after Eindhoven and Tilburg. It is equidistant between Rotterdam and Antwerp. As a fortified city, it was of strategic military and political significance. Although a direct fiefdom of the Holy Roman Emperor, the city obtained a municipal charter; the acquisition of Breda, through marriage, by the House of Nassau ensured that Breda would be at the centre of political and social life in the Low Countries. Breda had a population of 184,126 in 2021; the metropolitan area had a population of 324,812.
