California State University, Fullerton (CSUF or Cal State Fullerton) is a public university in Fullerton, California. With a total enrollment of more than 41,000, it has the largest student body of the California State University (CSU) system, and its graduate student body of more than 5,000 is one of the largest in the CSU and in all of California. As of fall 2016, the school had 2,083 faculty, of whom 782 were on the tenure track. The university offers 109 degree programs: 55 undergraduate degrees and 54 graduate degrees, including three doctorates.Cal State Fullerton is an Hispanic-serving institution (HSI) and is eligible to be designated as an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander serving institution (AANAPISI). The university is nationally accredited in art, athletic training, business, chemistry, communications, communicative disorders, computer science, dance, engineering, music, nursing, public administration, public health, social work, teacher education and theater. Spending related to CSUF generates an impact of around $2.26 billion to the California and local economy, and sustains nearly 16,000 jobs statewide.CSUF athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are collectively known as the CSUF Titans. Anderson Family Field is a college softball stadium on the campus of the California State University, Fullerton. It is the home venue of the Cal State Fullerton Titans softball team. It is named for four members of the Anderson family, who donated funds to update the stadium.The stadium has been renovated three times: in 1992, 1995, and 2000. A fourth major renovation is in progress as of 2021.

Hope International University is a private Christian university in Fullerton, California. It enrolls around 1,140 students. While Hope is non-denominational, it has strong ties to the Restoration Movement and the Christian churches and churches of Christ. Hope is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Hope International University's Fullerton campus sits adjacent to California State University, Fullerton, with which it has contract programs. Enrollment stands at just under 1,200 students.

Goodwin Field is a 3,500-seat baseball park in the western United States, located in Fullerton, California. On the campus of California State University, Fullerton, it is primarily the home field of the four-time national champion CSUF Titans of the NCAA's Big West Conference. It is named for Jerry and Merilyn Goodwin, who gave $1 million toward a $3 million campaign for major renovations.In 2013, the Titans ranked 29th among Division I baseball programs in attendance, averaging 2,356 per home game.

La Vista High School is a continuation high school located in Fullerton, California. As such, it is a high school for 16–18-year-old Fullerton Joint Union High School District students who, in most cases, have not made satisfactory progress toward graduation at one of the six comprehensive high schools in the district. Students are usually referred to La Vista High School by one of the traditional high schools because they are short on credits in required courses to graduate. The continuation school shares the same campus as Troy High School.

The Fullerton Arboretum is a 26-acre (11 ha) botanical garden with a collection of plants from around the world, located on the northeast corner of the California State University, Fullerton campus in Fullerton, California, in the United States. It is the largest botanical garden in Orange County, with a collection of over 4,000 plants. The Arboretum saves species that are extinct or near extinction and serves as a learning place for agricultural history.The Arboretum officially was created in 1976, and officially opened in 1979. The arboretum, which was originally a diseased orange grove, was transformed into organic gardening plots. A centerpiece of the Arboretum is the Heritage House, which was built in 1894 as the home and office of Fullerton's pioneer physician, Dr. George C. Clark. In 1972 the house was moved to what is now the middle of the Arboretum. The Arboretum's garden paths wander through four major collections: Cultivated, Woodlands, Mediterranean and Desert Collections. Highlights include Southern California native vegetation, Rare Fruit Grove, an 11,000 sq ft (1,000 m2) organic vegetable garden, historic Citrus and Avocados, Channel Islands Garden, an extensive Cycad Collection, Conifer Collection, Palm Grove, Community Gardens, and a Children's Garden. The Arboretum gives people the opportunity to teach and learn about the environment. They work with students and faculty from a variety of different campus departments and gather information. The research that is done is shared throughout Orange County.

Troy High School is a public high school in Fullerton, California, U.S., acclaimed for its many programs including Troy Tech and International Baccalaureate. The school is part of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. As of the 2019–20 school year, 2,604 students attend the school. Troy High School has the distinction of winning the most national titles (13 as of 2019) in the Science Olympiad. It is one of the seven high schools in California and one of 59 in the country to be awarded a New American High Schools status by the United States Department of Education. The school is located next to the continuing La Vista High School and California State University, Fullerton.

Marshall B. Ketchum University is a private university focused on graduate programs in healthcare and located in Fullerton, California. MBKU expanded from the Southern California College of Optometry which was founded in 1904. The university was officially established as a multidisciplinary university with the addition of School of PA Studies in 2011 and College of Pharmacy in 2013. Along with Hope International University, the campus bookends the north and south sides of the Cal State Fullerton campus respectively. The university's clinical and teaching facility is known as Ketchum Health. The facility provides patient care for optometry in the University Eye Center in Anaheim and Los Angeles. It also provides patient care in internal medicine and Family Medicine in Anaheim.

Rosary Academy is a Roman Catholic all-girls college-preparatory high school located in Fullerton, California, United States. Owned and operated by the Diocese of Orange, it is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. Rosary's brother school is Servite High School. Both schools had links to the now-defunct Cornelia Connelly High School. Rosary offers a needs-based scholarship program as well as scholarships in various areas to incoming freshman students.

Placentia is a proposed Metrolink infill station located in the city of the same name along Metrolink's 91/Perris Valley Line. The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) started discussing the station as early as 2012. A station planned for neighboring Yorba Linda was rejected by its local city council on March 16, 2004. The project was approved by the city in 2016, with construction planned to begin in 2018. A former packing house was demolished on the site to make way for the station. As of April 2019 construction was repeatedly delayed, owing to negotiations between Metrolink and the track's owners, BNSF. In January 2020, it was announced that construction of the Placentia Metrolink station would begin later in the year, with the station expected to be open by June 2022, but it has once again been delayed, with OCTA claiming construction of the project is "on hold" until mid-2024.The cost of the project is due at $34.8 million, of which the city pledged $5.4 million. In 2014, the project was pegged at an estimated $23.42 million, while a 2012 estimate was between $7.5–9 million.
