Cerro Colorado (Baja California)

Cerro Colorado is a borough of the municipality of Tijuana in Baja California, Mexico. The borough is located to the north of and along the west edge of the Cerro Colorado ("Red Hill"). Because of its height many of the area's antennae for radio and television stations are located on its peak. It is home to the Toros de Tijuana (Tijuana Bulls) in Estadio Gasmart located in Colonia Capistrano/Col. Cerro Colorado. The borough stretches as far north as to include on the north side of Calzada Guaycura, and stretches west to Ave. Insurgentes and Phase III of the Zona Río. Major commercial nodes include Plaza Monarca.

The Tijuana Mexico Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Tijuana, México. Completed in 2015, the intent to construct the temple was announced by church president Thomas S. Monson on October 2, 2010, during the church's semi-annual general conference. It is the thirteenth temple built in Mexico.

Morelos Park is an ecological reserve in Tijuana, Mexico. It has a zoo, and an artificial lake with different species of fish and ducks. It also has 11 kiosks and 10 green areas for family parties and a barbecue area, which are free to use. It has a small train for children and adults, with its route circling all the way around the lake. There is a dock with small boats in which visitors can take a walk by the lake. two playgrounds, and also houses Baja Paintball, a paintball business which rents paintball equipment and markers and allows people to use its game zones, pedestrian walkways, and bicycles. The playgrounds contain some mechanical rides, along with some normal playground equipment, such as swingsets and slides. Morelos Park was inaugurated on January 27, 1987, during the administration of Governor Xicoténcatl Leyva Mortera, passing to the municipal administration in 1998, when the decentralized organization called Municipal System of Thematic Parks of Tijuana (SIMPATT) was created.

Plaza Carrousel is a shopping mall in the La Mesa borough of Tijuana, anchored by Sears (formerly Dorian's), a Soriana supermarket (formerly Comercial Mexicana and way before Soriana again), Cinepolis multicinemas, and Sanborn's. The mall was built on the site of the former Cine Carrousel cinema. The area around the mall is a retail hub known as "Cinco y Diez" (Five and Ten), named after a former "five and dime" store located there.

El Refugio ("The Refuge") is a city in the Tijuana municipality of Baja California, Mexico. The city had a population of 36,400 as of 2010.

San Luis is a city in Baja California in Tijuana Municipality. The city had a population of 8,571 as of 2010.

Terrazas del Valle – Terraces of the Valley – is a city in Baja California in Tijuana Municipality. The city had a population of 20,421 as of 2010.Terrezas del Valle is located in the far east of the municipality, southeast of Tijuana and the last major city on the federal highway to Tecate. La Cinco y Diez (lit. "The Five and Ten", also written "La 5 y 10"), is the name of an intersection, pedestrian overpass over that intersection, public transportation hub and major retail district in La Mesa borough, Tijuana, Mexico. The name exists because a branch of the Luján/Cardenas family's "La Cinco y Diez" five and dime store once stood here, and Tijuana residents taking taxis or buses would ask to be let off by "La Cinco y Diez".The area has numerous shopping centers, department stores, supermarkets and hypermarkets, including: Plaza Carrousel, with a Cinépolis multicinema, Soriana Súper supermarket, and a Sears department store Plaza Cedros with an Elektra appliance/electronics/motorcycle store Plaza 5 y 10 with a Ley supermarket and Coppel department store Plaza Díaz Ordaz with a Calimax supermarket Plaza Las Brisas with an additional Coppel department store, "Soriana híper" hypermarket, and an additional Elektra appliance/electronics/motorcycle store Serviplaza Mesa 5 y 10 with Coppel and FAMSA department stores and a "Soriana Híper" hypermarket Swap Meet 5 y 10 Swap Meet Las Carpas a free-standing Smart & Final supermarket a free-standing La Parisina department store a Caliente casino

La Mesa is a borough of the municipality of Tijuana in Baja California, Mexico. This is where Morelos Park, the largest public park in the city, is located, as well as the Plaza Mundo Divertido, the Macroplaza shopping center, and the Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS) university. The public transportation hub and mass-market retail district Cinco y Diez, and the new (2022) Península mall and mixed-use complex, are both located in La Mesa.

Otay Centenario is a borough of the municipality of Tijuana in Baja California, Mexico. It is the result of a merger between the former boroughs of Mesa de Otay and Centenario which took place on January 1, 2014.The borough is located east of the Centro borough and the Zona Río; south of the U.S. border and San Diego's Otay Mesa neighborhood; and north of La Mesa. Tijuana International Airport, and many maquiladoras are located here. Main shopping centers are the Centro Comercial Otay and Plaza Americana Otay, which is located in front of Centro Comercial Otay. The area is noted as the second gastronomic hub of the city, with many restaurants. The former Centenario borough has the largest number of factories and maquiladoras in the city. Its largest neighborhood (colonia) is Ciudad Industrial ("Industrial City"). Three of the city's most important streets, Boulevard Bellas Artes, Boulevard Industrial and Mexican Federal Highway 2, are located here. Parque de la Amistad (not to be confused with Friendship Park at the border in Playas de Tijuana) is a large park in the borough.

The Otay Mesa East Port of Entry is a planned border crossing between San Diego and Tijuana, approximately 2 miles east of the existing Otay Mesa Port of Entry. The crossing will connect the Otay Centenario borough of Tijuana with East Otay Mesa in unincorporated San Diego County, an as-yet undeveloped area slotted for future development including a business park. Although the crossing will allow cars and pedestrians, it is mainly designed for trucks and commercial vehicles. In July 2014, Mexican Undersecretary of Infrastructure of the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation Raúl Murrieta Cummings and the Secretary of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Brian P. Kelly, signed a memorandum of understanding to build and put the new port of entry into operation. It was expected to be ready as early as 2017, and provide 27 northbound lanes from Tijuana to San Diego and 8 southbound lanes. The cost is estimated to be 2 billion Mexican pesos (about 99 million US dollars).Construction began at the initial ground breaking in August 2022, after long delays. Although earlier estimates suggested the project would be completed by late 2024, more recent estimates suggest construction may not be complete until 2026.

La Mesa prison is a penitentiary in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, near the Mexico–United States border. It is located in the La Mesa section of the city. Sister Antonia Brenner, a Catholic nun, lived with the inmates of La Mesa Prison for over thirty years, and was called "La mama" or the "Prison Angel."Famous Mexican musician Chalino Sanchez spent some time in this prison in 1984 on human smuggling charges. It is said that this is where his musical journey began. He began to compose songs for his fellow inmates and anyone that had a story worth telling.
