Cook Street Gate is a medieval gate in Coventry, England. It was probably built in the second half of the 14th century as part of the defensive circuit of the city. This gate is one of only two which survive of the original twelve town gates and the only one through which a road still runs. The other is Swanswell Gate. It was completed around 1485 AD but was derelict by the late 19th century. The gate was presented to the city in 1913 by Sir William Wyley and restored in 1918. The blocked doorways onto the wall walk can still be seen and as of May 2021 there is a planning application to renovate and conserve the building and open it up as tourist accommodation. The site is one of ten Scheduled Monuments in Coventry and a Grade I Listed Building. It was previously owned by Coventry City Council but has been transferred to Historic Coventry Trust to maintain and run.

Lady Herbert's Garden is a garden in Coventry city centre, named as a memorial to Alfred Herbert's second wife Florence. Construction and initial laying out began in 1930 and the last section was completed in 1939. It is built around several sections of the remains of Coventry city walls, including Swanswell and Cook Street Gates.

The Coventry Theatre was a 2,000-seat theatre located on Hales Street in Coventry, England. It opened in 1937 as the New Hippodrome and was renamed the Coventry Theatre in 1955. In 1979 it was purchased by businessman Paul Gregg and became the Coventry Apollo. It closed in 1985 with a performance by Barbara Dickson. In its later years the building became a bingo club before being demolished in 2002.Alan Melville's comedy Castle in the Air premiered at the theatre in 1949 before transferring to the West End.

Pool Meadow Bus Station is a bus station in the city of Coventry, England. It is managed by Transport for West Midlands. Local bus and national coach services operated by various companies serve the bus station which has 19 departure stands. National Express Coventry has its depot adjacent to the bus station. The bus station is located at the opposite side of city centre to Coventry railway station. It can be reached by a short walk or by a regular bus service. A bus station has occupied the site since 1931 but the present building opened in 1994, work having begun on its construction in 1993. It replaced simple rows of bus shelters - initially installed as a temporary measure in the early 1960s which eventually stood for thirty years. There are 19 departure stands, each labelled using letters between A and U. The first three stands are used for National Express Coaches services, the remaining for city scheduled bus services. Stand D is used for Megabus who started using the station on 22 May 2017. Thandi and New Bharat also use the station on stands B and C. Electronic timetable displays are in use at most of these stands, as well as at the entrances to the bus station having been installed on 8 September 2008.

The Whittle Arch is a public art installation in Coventry, England. It is dedicated to Sir Frank Whittle, the inventor of the turbojet engine, who was born in Coventry. The arch was designed as part of Coventry's Phoenix Initiative regeneration project at the start of the 21st century.

Coventry Transport Museum (formerly known as the Museum of British Road Transport) is a transport museum, located in Coventry city centre, England. It houses the largest collection of British-made road transport held in public ownership. It is located in Coventry because the city was previously the centre of the British car industry. There are more than 240 cars and commercial vehicles, 100 motorcycles, 200 bicycles. The ever-changing temporary exhibitions feature motor cars, commercial vehicles, cycles and motorcycles from the museums own collection and beyond. The museum offers activities ranging from engineering challenges to scientific experiments. The museum is also home to a 60 year old Vintage Sleigh Ride, that has been popular in the city for generations of local residents. It has a full-time archive department, which deals with an array of historical items, and offers a public enquiry service answering questions and finding items and information. Visitors need to contact the museum prior to visiting should they wish to access the archives, or speak to a curator.

City College Coventry was a further education college based in the city of Coventry, England. It was formed in 2002 through the merger of two previous colleges in the city, although through them it has roots going back to the 19th century. It was one of three further education colleges within the city boundaries, alongside Henley College and Hereward College. The college caters for 12,000 students and occupies a purpose-built campus in the Swanswell area of Coventry. In 2017 City College merged with Henley College to form Coventry College.

BBC CWR (Coventry & Warwickshire Radio) is the BBC's local radio station serving Coventry and Warwickshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios at Priory Place in Coventry city centre. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 57,000 listeners and a 3.5% share as of December 2022.

The Old Grammar School, Coventry is a Grade I listed building in Coventry, England on the corner of Bishop Street and Hales Street.

St Mary's Priory and Cathedral was a Roman Catholic institution in Coventry, England, founded in the 12th century by transformation of the former monastery of St Mary, and destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the early 16th century. It was located on a site north of Holy Trinity and the former St Michael's parish churches in the centre of the city, on a site bordered by Priory Row to the south, Trinity Street to the west, and the River Sherbourne to the north. Excavated remains from the west end of the cathedral are open to the public.

The Old Blue Coat School is a building in the city centre of Coventry, England. It was built in 1856 on the site of the Priory of St Mary, and is currently used by the Holy Trinity Church.

Sidney Stringer Academy is a coeducational (mixed) academy school for pupils aged 11 – 18 in Hillfields, Coventry, England. It was Sidney Stringer School and Community College from 1972 until 1994, then Sidney Stringer Community Technology College until c. 2004 and Sidney Stringer School to 2010 when it became Sidney Stringer Academy.
