Pool Meadow Bus Station is a bus station in the city of Coventry, England. It is managed by Transport for West Midlands. Local bus and national coach services operated by various companies serve the bus station which has 19 departure stands. National Express Coventry has its depot adjacent to the bus station. The bus station is located at the opposite side of city centre to Coventry railway station. It can be reached by a short walk or by a regular bus service. A bus station has occupied the site since 1931 but the present building opened in 1994, work having begun on its construction in 1993. It replaced simple rows of bus shelters - initially installed as a temporary measure in the early 1960s which eventually stood for thirty years. There are 19 departure stands, each labelled using letters between A and U. The first three stands are used for National Express Coaches services, the remaining for city scheduled bus services. Stand D is used for Megabus who started using the station on 22 May 2017. Thandi and New Bharat also use the station on stands B and C. Electronic timetable displays are in use at most of these stands, as well as at the entrances to the bus station having been installed on 8 September 2008.

The Whittle Arch is a public art installation in Coventry, England. It is dedicated to Sir Frank Whittle, the inventor of the turbojet engine, who was born in Coventry. The arch was designed as part of Coventry's Phoenix Initiative regeneration project at the start of the 21st century.

The Coventry Theatre was a 2,000-seat theatre located on Hales Street in Coventry, England. It opened in 1937 as the New Hippodrome and was renamed the Coventry Theatre in 1955. In 1979 it was purchased by businessman Paul Gregg and became the Coventry Apollo. It closed in 1985 with a performance by Barbara Dickson. In its later years the building became a bingo club before being demolished in 2002.Alan Melville's comedy Castle in the Air premiered at the theatre in 1949 before transferring to the West End.

BBC CWR (Coventry & Warwickshire Radio) is the BBC's local radio station serving Coventry and Warwickshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios at Priory Place in Coventry city centre. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 57,000 listeners and a 3.5% share as of December 2022.

Cook Street Gate is a medieval gate in Coventry, England. It was probably built in the second half of the 14th century as part of the defensive circuit of the city. This gate is one of only two which survive of the original twelve town gates and the only one through which a road still runs. The other is Swanswell Gate. It was completed around 1485 AD but was derelict by the late 19th century. The gate was presented to the city in 1913 by Sir William Wyley and restored in 1918. The blocked doorways onto the wall walk can still be seen and as of May 2021 there is a planning application to renovate and conserve the building and open it up as tourist accommodation. The site is one of ten Scheduled Monuments in Coventry and a Grade I Listed Building. It was previously owned by Coventry City Council but has been transferred to Historic Coventry Trust to maintain and run.

Coventry Transport Museum (formerly known as the Museum of British Road Transport) is a transport museum, located in Coventry city centre, England. It houses the largest collection of British-made road transport held in public ownership. It is located in Coventry because the city was previously the centre of the British car industry. There are more than 240 cars and commercial vehicles, 100 motorcycles, 200 bicycles. The ever-changing temporary exhibitions feature motor cars, commercial vehicles, cycles and motorcycles from the museums own collection and beyond. The museum offers activities ranging from engineering challenges to scientific experiments. The museum is also home to a 60 year old Vintage Sleigh Ride, that has been popular in the city for generations of local residents. It has a full-time archive department, which deals with an array of historical items, and offers a public enquiry service answering questions and finding items and information. Visitors need to contact the museum prior to visiting should they wish to access the archives, or speak to a curator.

St Mary's Priory and Cathedral was a Roman Catholic institution in Coventry, England, founded in the 12th century by transformation of the former monastery of St Mary, and destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the early 16th century. It was located on a site north of Holy Trinity and the former St Michael's parish churches in the centre of the city, on a site bordered by Priory Row to the south, Trinity Street to the west, and the River Sherbourne to the north. Excavated remains from the west end of the cathedral are open to the public.

The Diocese of Coventry is a Church of England diocese in the Province of Canterbury. It is headed by the Bishop of Coventry, who sits at Coventry Cathedral in Coventry, and is assisted by one suffragan bishop, the Bishop of Warwick. The diocese covers Coventry and Warwickshire. The diocese is divided into two archdeaconries, Warwick and Coventry. Warwick archdeaconry is then divided into the deaneries of Shipston, Fosse, Alcester, Southam and Warwick & Leamington, whilst Coventry archdeaconry is divided into the deaneries of Rugby, Nuneaton, Kenilworth, and Coventry South, East and North.The diocese was formed on 6 September 1918 from part of the Diocese of Worcester.An ancient Diocese of Coventry existed , united with Lichfield, in 1102-1837 with the see in Coventry until 1539. In 1837 Coventry passed to the Diocese of Worcester and the title ended. Two suffragan Bishops of Coventry existed in 1891-1903.

The Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital was a former hospital in Coventry on Stoney Stanton Road on the northern edge of the city centre. The hospital was opened in 1867 and closed in 2006, to be replaced by the new University Hospital Coventry sited about 4 miles north east of the centre.

The Old Blue Coat School is a building in the city centre of Coventry, England. It was built in 1856 on the site of the Priory of St Mary, and is currently used by the Holy Trinity Church.

The Cathedral Church of Saint Michael, commonly known as Coventry Cathedral, is the seat of the Bishop of Coventry and the Diocese of Coventry within the Church of England. The cathedral is located in Coventry, West Midlands, England. The current bishop is Christopher Cocksworth and the current dean is John Witcombe. The city has had three cathedrals. The first was St Mary's, a monastic building, from 1102-1539, of which only a few ruins remain. The second was St Michael's, a 14th-century Gothic church designated as a cathedral in 1918, which remains a ruined shell after its bombing during the Second World War. The third is the new St Michael's Cathedral, built immediately adjacent after the destruction of the former, consecrated in 1962. The ruined cathedral is a symbol of war time destruction and barbarity, but also of peace and reconciliation.

Holy Trinity Church, Coventry, is a parish church of the Church of England in Coventry City Centre, West Midlands, England. Above the chancel arch is an impressive Doom wall-painting.
