Wudaokou (Chinese: 五道口), whose name is a literal reference to the fifth level crossing of the Jingbao Railway, is a neighborhood in the Haidian District of North West Beijing, famous for its close distances to universities including Tsinghua University and Peking University. It is around 10 km (6.2 mi) from the center of Beijing, between the Fourth and Fifth ring roads, and has good public transport links including a station on Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. It became a commercial center in Haidian during the 1950s following the establishment of several universities. The high price of real estate in this area has led to it being dubbed the "Center of the Universe (宇宙中心)."Until as recently as 2001 the area consisted mainly of Hutong neighborhoods and late 1960s apartment blocks, but major development has erased many of these old structures, replacing them with luxury apartments and technology parks. Some may also refer to Wudaokou as Koreatown, for the large number of Koreans in the area.

The School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University is a public policy and public administration school located in Beijing, China. Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI) (Chinese: 北京智源人工智能研究院; pinyin: Běijīng Zhìyuán réngōng zhìnéng yánjiùyuàn), also known as Zhiyuan Institute, is a Chinese non-profit artificial intelligence (AI) research laboratory. BAAI conducts AI research and is dedicated to promoting collaboration among academia and industry, as well as fostering top talent and a focus on long-term research on the fundamentals of AI technology. As a collaborative hub, BAAI's founding members include leading AI companies, universities, and research institutes. BAAI is one of pre-eminent AI research institutes in China. To help it reach its goals, BAAI frequently releases new models and open source code. Moreover, BAAI organizes an annual international conference bringing together AI experts, industry leaders, and international talent to discuss challenges and future of AI.

Wudaokou station (Chinese: 五道口站; pinyin: Wǔdàokǒu zhàn) is a station on Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. As its name suggests, it is situated in the Wudaokou area of Haidian District.

Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU; Chinese: 北京语言大学; pinyin: Běijīng Yǔyán Dàxué) is a public university of linguistics in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education of China.The university has the main aim of teaching the Chinese language and culture to foreign students. However, it also takes Chinese students specializing in foreign languages and other relevant subjects of humanities and social sciences, and trains teachers of Chinese as a foreign language. Peking Univ. East Gate station (simplified Chinese: 北京大学东门站; traditional Chinese: 北京大學東門站; pinyin: Běijīng Dàxué Dōngmén zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway. The station is located just outside the east gate of Peking University.

Tsinghua University Library System (Chinese: 清华大学图书馆) consist of the Main Library and six branch libraries: Humanities & Social Sciences Library, Economics & Management Library, Law Library, Architecture Library, Fine Arts Library, and Finance Library. The Main Library, with a total construction area of 42,820 square meters, consists of the Old Library, West Library (Yifu Library) and North Library (Mochtar Riady Library). The West and North Libraries are integrated harmoniously in style with the Old Library.

Zhongguancun Station (simplified Chinese: 中关村站; traditional Chinese: 中關村站; pinyin: Zhōngguāncūn Zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway, located in the Zhongguancun area of the Haidian District.
