Laumeier Sculpture Park is a 105-acre open-air museum and sculpture park located in Sunset Hills, Missouri, near St. Louis and is maintained in partnership with St. Louis County Parks and Recreation Department. It houses over 60 outdoor sculptures and features a 1.4-mile (2.3 km) walking trail, and educational programs. There is also an indoor gallery, an 1816 Tudor stone mansion, which was the former residence of Henry and Matilda Laumeier. Laumeier is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The park sees about 300,000 visitors each year and operates on a $1.5 million budget.

Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony's Medical Center until October 1, 2018) is the third-largest medical center in Greater St. Louis and an affiliate of Mercy. It is the only designated Level II Trauma Center in either South St. Louis County or Jefferson County. The hospital is located in the unincorporated community, Sappington, Missouri just south of I-270 along Tesson Ferry Road (Missouri Route 21). It serves families in St. Louis County, St. Louis City, and Jefferson County, as well as Franklin County, St. Francois County, Ste. Genevieve County, and Washington County in Missouri, along with Monroe, Randolph and St. Clair counties in Illinois. In addition, Mercy Hospital South operates four urgent care facilities located in Arnold, Fenton, Kirkwood, and Lemay. Mercy Hospital South has 767 licensed beds and is staffed by approximately 3,700 employees, 790 physicians and provides care to approximately 200,000 patients each year.

Alswel, also known as the William Lemp Estate House, is a house in Sunset Hills, Missouri built by German-American brewer William J. Lemp, Jr. in 1911. Designed by Lemp Brewery staff architect Guy Norton in the unusual Tyrolean Chalet style, it is situated on a bluff roughly 200 feet above the Meramec River in south St. Louis County, Missouri. The estate grounds once consisted of almost 200 acres, but sell-offs and residential subdivision have reduced this to a 2.1 acre lot on which the house currently sits.

Crestwood is a city in south St. Louis County, Missouri, United States, part of the Metropolitan Statistical Area known as Greater St. Louis. The population was 11,912 at the 2010 census.In 2011, Bloomberg Businessweek magazine named Crestwood the "Best Place to Raise Kids in Missouri," lauding the community for top-tier schools and excellent municipal services.

Crestwood Court (formerly known as Westfield Shoppingtown Crestwood and Crestwood Plaza) was a shopping mall in Crestwood, Missouri. Opened in 1957, it was the first major mall in the St. Louis area, and one of the first to have more than one department store. The mall previously included Macy's, Dillard's and Sears as anchor stores, all three of which were vacant for at least 5 years before demolition began in May, 2016, resulting in a "dead mall". Demolition was finished in October 2017. Decline was first noticeable in the early 2000s, but took off seriously in 2006, when many stores started to close their doors. The announcement the Dillard's would close in August 2007 was critical, because it was the most popular store. Two years later, Macy's closed, which was considered the ultimate dagger. It was by then assumed that Crestwood Mall was not going to be around much longer, and that became official in September 2013, when the exterior Lens Crafters closed their doors.

Concord is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 16,421 at the 2010 census. It should not be confused with Concord Township; which the CDP shares much land with, but these areas' boundaries are not identical.
