Honey Creek State Natural Area

Guadalupe River State Park is a Texas state park located on a section of the Guadalupe River in Kendall and Comal Counties, northwest of Bulverde, Texas United States and is administered by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The land was acquired by deed from private owners in 1974 and was opened to the public in 1983.670 acres of 1938.7 acre park is located on the north side of the river and is named the Bauer Unit, after the German couple that settled there in the mid-1800s. There are no amenities or facilities in the Bauer Unit just trails. The Bamberger Trail is named after J. David Bamberger, who sold most of the land that became the Bauer Unit to the State of Texas in 1974.

Anhalt Hall is a Texas dancehall owned and operated by the Germania Farmer Verein, an organization started by German settlers in Central Texas in 1875 to help protect their livestock. The hall was used as a stopping point for early settlers traveling between New Braunfels, Texas and Boerne, Texas. Construction began in February 1879 when the first hall measuring 26’X34" was erected by Franz Erben in what is now Spring Branch, Comal County, Texas. In 1880 the first Maifest was held for members only and a dance floor 28’X58' was laid. In 1887 the hall was expanded by 60 feet. In 1891 the hall was again enlarged 20' by 6". In 1894 the Verein held its first agriculture fair which continued into the early 1900s. Chris Herry of New Braunfels, Texas was contracted in 1908 to build the addition to the hall which is the current dance floor at a cost of $2512.37. Mr. Geue had the lighting contract for $192.50. In 1951 the beer garden was added and in 1953 the kitchen was built. Anhalt Hall has hosted such acts as George Strait, Jerry Jeff Walker, Asleep at the Wheel, Kevin Fowler, and many more. The hall was also used as a set in All the Pretty Horses, starring Matt Damon and Penélope Cruz. Anhalt Hall still holds monthly dances and a spring and fall harvest festival, Maifest and Oktoberfest, respectively.

Spring Branch is a city located in Comal County, Texas, United States. It has approximately 250 residents. The community voted to incorporate in an election held on November 3, 2015 and Spring Branch officially became a city on November 19, 2015. Originally settled by Germans in the 19th century, Spring Branch is named for a spring fed creek that flows into the Guadalupe River.

The Cave Without a Name is a limestone solutional cave in the Texas Hill Country region of Central Texas. It is a National Natural Landmark.The cave is located 40 mi (64 km) from downtown San Antonio, and 10 miles northeast of Boerne off FM 474 and Kreutzberg Road. It has been commercially operated as a show cave and open for public tours since 1939. It is a member of the National Cave Association.

Bulverde ( buul-VUR-dee) is a city in Comal County, Texas, United States. Bulverde is known for its small-town, slow pace of life, coupled with the German emigrant history of the town's founders. Bulverde was originally named Piepers Settlement after a prominent German pioneer. Its population was 5,692 at the 2020 census, up from 4,630 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio metropolitan statistical area.

Smithson Valley High School is a public high school located in unincorporated Comal County, Texas, United States and classified as a 5A school by the UIL. It is part of the Comal Independent School District and is one of seven high schools in the district.Smithson Valley High School is zoned for students who live primarily in the southwestern Comal County and northern Bexar County area, including Bulverde, Spring Branch, portions of Timberwood Park, and portions of Canyon Lake. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Smithson Valley is a neighborhood within the Canyon Lake census-designated place in Comal County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 15 in 2000. It is located within the Greater San Antonio area.

KNIC-DT (channel 17) is a television station licensed to Blanco, Texas, United States, broadcasting the Spanish-language UniMás network to the San Antonio area. It is owned and operated by TelevisaUnivision alongside Univision outlet KWEX-DT (channel 41). Both stations share studios on Network Boulevard in Northwest San Antonio, while KNIC's transmitter is located on Hogan Drive in Timberwood Park. Although Blanco is geographically within the Austin market, that city has its own UniMás station, KTFO-CD.

Timberwood Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in far northern unincorporated Bexar County, Texas, United States and located within the southern edge of the Texas Hill Country. The district has roughly 42 miles of roads and encompasses over 2,000 acres. The overall plan shows 3,263 platted lots. The population was 35,217 at the 2020 census, up from 13,447 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Rock Dove Cave is a cave in San Antonio, Texas, United States discovered by local boys who were exploring a construction site owned by McMillin Homes. The cave is believed to be the fifth largest in Bexar County.

Camp Bullis Military Training Reservation is a U.S. Army training camp comprising 27,990 acres (113.3 km2) in Bexar County, Texas, USA, just northwest of San Antonio. Camp Bullis provides base operations support and training support to Joint Base San Antonio. The camp is named for Brigadier General John L. Bullis.Camp Bullis and Camp Stanley make up the Leon Springs Military Reservation. Camp Bullis is used primarily as maneuvering grounds for U.S. Army, Air Force, and Marine combat units. It is also used as a field-training site for the various medical units stationed at Brooke Army Medical Center in nearby Fort Sam Houston.

Fair Oaks Ranch is a city in Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 5,986 at the 2010 census and an estimated 9,700 in 2018. It is part of the San Antonio-New Braunfels Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was named after Ralph Fair Sr, an oilman who had a large cattle ranch on the now residential town. The Fair family decided to sell a portion of the ranch to build what is now Fair Oaks Ranch in 1975.
