Zatyshne (Ukrainian: Затишне), known as Radhospne until 2016, is a village in Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine.

Pokotylivka (Ukrainian: Покотилівка, Russian: Покотиловка) is an urban-type settlement in Kharkiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine. It is a southwestern suburb of Kharkiv and is located on the left bank of the Udy, in the drainage basin of the Don. Pokotylivka belongs to Vysokyi settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 9,252 (2021 est.)

Babai (Ukrainian: Бабаї; Russian: Бабаи) is a rural settlement in Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. It is located on the right bank of the Udy in the drainage basin of the Don. Babai belongs to Vysokyi settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 6,487 (2022 estimate).Until 26 January 2024, Babai was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Babai became a rural settlement.

The Lopan (Russian and Ukrainian: Лопань) is a river that rises in Belgorod Oblast of Russia and flows across the Russian-Ukrainian border into Kharkiv Oblast where it joins the Udy in Kharkiv. The river is 93 kilometres (58 mi) long. The river Kharkiv is one of its tributaries.

Khorosheve (Ukrainian: Хорошеве, Russian: Хорошево) is a rural settlement in Kharkiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine. It is located on the right bank of the Udy, in the drainage basin of the Don, south of the city of Kharkiv. Khorosheve belongs to Bezliudivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 3,984 (2022 estimate). Until 26 January 2024, Khorosheve was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Khorosheve became a rural settlement.

Pisochyn (Ukrainian: Пісочин, Russian: Песочин) is an urban-type settlement in Kharkiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine. It is essentially a western suburb of the city of Kharkiv. Pisochyn hosts the administration of Pisochyn settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 23,616 (2021 est.)

Novobavarskyi District (Ukrainian: Новобаварський район), formerly known as Zhovtnevy District, is an urban district of the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, named after a neighborhood in the city Nova Bavaria. The district was established in 1924. In 2016 it was renamed to its current name to comply with decommunization laws.

Lake Pidborivske (Ukrainian: Підборівське озеро) is a lake located in the north of urban-type settlement of Bezliudivka in Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine. It is often visited by residents of Kharkiv for recreation. On the lake there is a water park "Alexandra", "White Beach" and "Pisochnytsia" beach. The name comes from the Bezliudivka district, called "Pidborivka"

Kholodna Hora (Ukrainian: Холодна Гора, (listen); Russian: Холо́дная Гора́, meaning cold mountain) is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line. The station is the western terminus of the line and was opened on 23 August 1975. It is located under the Poltavsky Shosse, in the middle of the Kholodna Hora residential district in the western part of Kharkiv. Until 8 October 1995, the station and the street on which it is located were known as Vulytsia Sverdlova (Sverdlov Street). Also, a bas-relief portrait of communist leader Yakov Sverdlov was located on the station, later removed. Two relief composite architectural items, which depicted communist scenes from the Velikiy Oktiabr and the Triumph of the Revolution, are still located on the station. The station is put low underground, is a pillar-trispan with many white marble columns. The floor of the station has been finished off with red granite. It was designed by V.A Spivachyk; engineered by P.A. Bochikashvili and N.D. Ivanova; and decorated by V.I. Lenchin, P.P Yurchenko, and I.P. Yastrebov. The Kholodna Hora station has two vestibules that are directly connected to the station and two exits, which have pedestrian cross tunnels under the Poltavsky Shosse. The large amount of passenger traffic on the station is accounted for by the many bus routes passing nearby, the buses carrying passengers to the neighboring towns and villages.

Kharkiv TEC-5 (Ukrainian: Харківська ТЕЦ-5) is a combined heat and power plant at Podvorky village in Kharkiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. It has capacity of 540 MW of electric power and up 1420 Gcal/h of heat power. It has a 330 meters (1,080 ft) tall chimney, built in 1979. There are also two 81 meters (266 ft) tall cooling towers. The power plant is owned and operated by JSC Kharkiv CHPP-5 (Ukrainian: Харківська ТЕЦ-5), a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrainy.

Bezliudivka (Ukrainian: Безлюдівка) is a rural settlement located in Kharkiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is adjacent to the southern boundary of the city of Kharkiv and is situated on the Udy River (Seversky Donets Basin), 3 km from the railway stop. Bezliudivka hosts the administration of Bezliudivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 9,135 (2022 estimate). Lake Nahorivske and Lake Pidborivske are located in the settlement.
