Jefferson Park is a 7-acre (2.8 ha) park in the eponymous community area of Chicago, Illinois on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Jefferson Park Transit Center is an intermodal passenger transport hub in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It serves as a station for rail and also as a bus terminal. Jefferson Park Transit Center's railroad station is on Metra's Union Pacific Northwest Line, with the station located at 4963 North Milwaukee Avenue. Jefferson Park is 9.1 miles (14.6 km) away from Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago, the inbound terminus of the Union Pacific Northwest Line. Under Metra's zone-based fare system, Jefferson Park is in zone B. As of 2018, Jefferson Park is the 97th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 510 weekday boardings.As of April 3, 2023, Metra's Jefferson Park station is served by 60 trains (29 inbound, 31 outbound) on weekdays, by 31 trains (16 inbound, 15 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 19 trains (nine inbound, 10 outbound) on Sundays. It is also an 'L' station on the Blue Line, which stops at a single island platform in the median of the Kennedy Expressway at 4917 North Milwaukee Avenue. Blue Line trains run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with intervals of as little as 2–7 minutes during rush hour, and take 25 minutes to travel to the Loop. From 1970 to 1983, this was the terminal for West-Northwest Line trains once the service was extended from Logan Square.

The Copernicus Center (formerly Gateway Theatre) is a 1,890-seat former movie palace that is now part of the Copernicus Center in the Jefferson Park community area of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The Copernicus Center is located at 5216 W. Lawrence Avenue. The former Gateway Theater was designed by architect Mason Rapp of the prestigious firm of Rapp and Rapp, famous for their design of deluxe theaters not only in Chicago (Chicago, Oriental, and Palace Theatres) but throughout the United States. It is the architect's only surviving atmospheric theatre in Chicago.

The Guatemalan consulate is located in Jefferson Park at 5559 North Elston Avenue.

Jacqueline B. Vaughn Occupational High School is a public 4–year special education high school located in the Portage Park neighborhood on the north–west side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in 1968, The school is named for Chicago public schools special education teacher and Chicago Teachers Union president Jacqueline B. Vaughn (1935–1994). The school is a part of the Chicago Public Schools. The school serves students with disabilities in grade levels 9 through 12.

The Portage Park Bungalow Historic District is a residential historic district in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The district includes 225 buildings, 189 of which are brick Chicago bungalows built between 1915 and 1930. As homeownership became broadly accessible to Chicagoans in the early twentieth century, the bungalow emerged as a popular and affordable house design, and tens of thousands of the homes were built throughout Chicago. Portage Park was one of the many outlying neighborhoods of Chicago which grew dramatically as a result of the housing boom; new residents were also attracted to the neighborhood's eponymous park. While the district was developed by many different builders and architects, the use of a single home type with uniform setbacks from the street gives the neighborhood a consistent appearance.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 2014.

WSBC (1240 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Chicago, Illinois. It broadcasts brokered programming, mostly ethnic and religious. It is owned by Hearland Signal LLC. WSBC transmits with 1,000 watts. Its transmitter site is on North Milwaukee Avenue at West Catalpa Avenue in Chicago. It shares its tower with sister station WCPT (820 AM). WSBC features programming aimed at ethnic communities including Russian, Ukrainian, Latino, Italian, Latvian and Irish. Hosts buy time on the station and may offer their services or seek donations during their shows.

Owens has been the exclusive supplier of the ATAS, Primetime Emmy Awards, since 1983. The company also supplies the NATAS Daytime and Sports Emmy awards. In addition, R.S. Owens supplies Emmy Awards for the International market, IATAS and selected Regional Chapter Emmy awards throughout the US. R.S. Owens had been the official manufacturer of the Academy Award since 1982 as well as the Academy's Irving Thallberg and Scientific and Engineering awards, but lost the Oscar statuette contract to Polich Tallix in 2016.In addition to its custom awards manufacturing, the company also offers a stock line of awards and recognition products sold through the United States PPAI and APA distribution market called R.S. Forest Glen is one of two Metra commuter railroad stations in the Forest Glen section of Chicago, Illinois, along the Milwaukee District North Line. It is located at 5301 North Forest Glen Avenue, is 10.2 miles (16.4 km) away from Chicago Union Station, the southern terminus of the line, and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Forest Glen is in zone C. As of 2018, Forest Glen is the 126th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 376 weekday boardings.As of December 12, 2022, Forest Glen is served by 40 trains (19 inbound, 21 outbound) on weekdays, by all 20 trains (10 in each direction) on Saturdays, and by all 18 trains (nine in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. The station is little more than an open sheltered platform, and is located south of a Cook County Forest Preserve. On-street parking is available along Forest Glen Avenue and LeClaire Avenue between Elston Avenue and north of Balmoral Avenue. The main parking lot for the station is between Balmoral and Catalpa Avenues.

Luther High School North, formerly known as Luther North College Prep, was a private coeducational high school located in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It was affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Its predecessor was Luther Institute, founded in 1909 as a Lutheran High School and located in the Near West Side neighborhood of Chicago. In 1953 the school moved to a campus in Portage Park, Chicago. Enrollment peaked at about 1,400 in the 1960s and 1970s, but declined thereafter. Due to financial difficulties, the Portage Park campus was sold to New Life Community Church in 2010, with the school sharing occupancy. In February 2017, with an enrollment of only 170 students despite recruiting efforts, the school announced that it would cease operations after the 2016–2017 school year.

Gladstone Park is a station on Metra's Union Pacific Northwest Line located in the Gladstone Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Gladstone Park primarily serves rush hour trains and is closed on weekends and holidays. The station is located at 5500 N. Austin Avenue, adjacent to the Kennedy Expressway. Gladstone Park is 10.1 miles (16.3 km) away from the Union Pacific Northwest Line's terminus at Ogilvie Transportation Center. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Gladstone Park is in zone B. As of 2018, Gladstone Park is the 166th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 180 weekday boardings. As of April 3, 2023, Gladstone Park is served by 22 trains (10 inbound, 12 outbound) on weekdays only. Gladstone Park is located at grade level and is the first station northbound after the Northwest Line descends to grade level. Gladstone Park has two platforms which serve three tracks. There is no ticket agent at Gladstone Park, so tickets must be purchased on board the train. A footbridge is located south of the station to allow passengers (and neighboring pedestrians) to cross the Kennedy Expressway. Gladstone Park is one of two stations on the UP-Northwest line that is not ADA-accessible, the other being Clybourn.

St. John of Rila in Chicago, referred to in Bulgarian as 'Tsurkva Sveti Ivan Rilski' is a historic church of the Orthodox Church of America located in Chicago, Illinois. It is considered to be one of the most aesthetically noteworthy churches in the Portage Park area of Chicago.
