The Amgen Helix Pedestrian Bridge is a pedestrian bridge in Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington. The bridge was designed by Johnson Architecture and KPFF Engineers.

The second USS Memphis was a 7-gun screw steamer, built by William Denny and Brothers, Dumbarton, Scotland in 1861, which briefly served as a Confederate blockade runner before being captured and taken into the Union Navy during the American Civil War. She was destroyed by fire in 1883.

The Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC), formerly known as The Wet Spot, is a non-profit, membership-based organization located in Seattle, Washington. It organizes events and provides space for several different sex-positive subcultures, notably BDSM, swinging, and polyamory groups. CSPC welcomes people of all sexual identities and seeks to encompass all consensual sexual practices. The Center is a 501(c)(7) recreational club; its sister organization, the Foundation for Sex Positive Culture (renamed Pan-Eros in 2018) is a 501(c)(3) charitable/educational organization.The organization held its first event, a fundraiser, in March 1999.

The Magnolia Bridge, built in 1930, connects the Seattle neighborhoods of Magnolia and Interbay over the filled-in tidelands of Smith Cove. It is one of only three road connections from Magnolia to the rest of Seattle. It carries W. Garfield Street from Magnolia Way W. in the west to the intersection of Elliott and 15th Avenues W. in the east. Having been damaged in the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, it is currently scheduled for replacement. In 1910, when a bridge was first proposed for this location, Queen Anne Hill and Magnolia were already connected by several trestles across Interbay, each spanning the railway that ran north–south through Interbay. By 1912 a wooden trestle had been built. The wooden trestle was replaced by a concrete structure in 1930 and improved in 1957 to provide a grade separation from Elliott Avenue West. In 1960 the bridge was renamed from the "Garfield Street Bridge" to the "Magnolia Bridge" as a result of community efforts by Magnolia residents.The bridge's support columns were damaged by the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, temporarily closing it for repairs. As part of disaster-relief funding after the earthquake, a replacement for the Magnolia Bridge was granted $9 million in federal funds, but design of the new bridge stalled in the late 2000s.

Smith Cove (formerly known as "Smith's Cove") is a body of water, the northern part of Seattle, Washington's Elliott Bay, immediately south of the area that has been known since 1894 as Interbay. More precisely, it is the part of the bay that lies north of a line running southeasterly from the west end of Elliott Bay Marina in the northwest to the far northwest tip of Myrtle Edwards Park in the southeast.It is home to the Port of Seattle's Piers 90 and 91, in addition to the marina.The cove was named after Dr. Henry A. Smith of Wooster, Ohio, who, in 1853, was one of the first whites to settle in what is now Seattle. It was briefly a candidate to be the heart of the emerging city. The cove and its tide flats once stretched as far north as what is now the Interbay Athletic Field. James J. Hill bought 600 acres (2.4 km2) of these tide flats in 1892 and had them filled in for the western terminal of the Great Northern Railway. At one time, the terminal included a switchyard, roundhouse, grain elevators, and warehouses as well as piers for oceangoing ships. Today, the rail yards of the BNSF Railway remain, as does the aforementioned athletic field. Other present-day features on landfill in what was formerly the cove are the Interbay Golf Center and the Washington Army National Guard Armory.

Marshall Park is a 0.78-acre (0.32-hectare) park in Seattle, Washington. Once known as "Phelps Place", the small park across from Parsons Garden provided a viewpoint for sightseers until the expansion and improvement of Queen Anne Boulevard. In 1960, the park was named after the Marshalls. Betty Bowen Viewpoint was added to the park in 1977–1978. Today, the concrete walkway contains unsigned artwork by artists Guy Anderson, Kenneth Callahan, Morris Graves, Victor Steinbrueck, Charles Stokes and Margaret Tompkins.

Parsons Gardens Park (also called Parsons Memorial Garden) is a 0.4-acre (0.16 ha) city park in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It was called by Fodor's a "a prim urban oasis", and by another guide a "secret garden for non-tourists". The park sits at one end of West Highland Drive, across the street from Betty Bowen Viewpoint and not far from better-known Kerry Park.According to the city Parks Department and city guides by Lonely Planet and others, the location is popular for summer weddings.The park is a designated City of Seattle landmark.The location was previously the private garden of the home of Reginald and Maude Parsons since 1905. In 1956 their children donated the property to the city.

Kinnear Park is a 14.1-acre (57,000 m2) park on the southwest slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington, United States located between W. Olympic Place on the northeast, W. Mercer Place and Elliott Avenue W. on the southwest, the 9th Avenue W. right of way on the west, and the 6th Avenue W. right of way on the east. It is two-tiered, with a lawn and open space atop the cliff, and a wooded area below.

Elliott Bay Marina is a private marina located in Seattle, Washington. It opened in 1991, after 17 years in the planning and permit process. There are 1,200 slips available for moorage. There is a stationary pumpout located on the fuel dock. The facility also has a Porta-Potty dump station. The slips range in size from 32 to 63 feet with 52% of the boats between 36 and 50 feet LOA. The boat types are evenly split between sailboats and powerboats, which reflects the great sailing conditions on Puget Sound. Forty boats are liveaboards. Another 60 slips must remain available for transient boaters per agreement with the city.The marina hosts the Downtown Sailing Series on Thursday nights during the summer.
