Primavera Sound 2022

The Primavera Sound 2023 music festival was held on 29 May to 4 June at the Parc del Fòrum, in Barcelona, Spain. The festival's line-up was headlined by Blur, Calvin Harris, Depeche Mode, Halsey, Kendrick Lamar, New Order and Rosalía.After the two-weekend format introduced last year, the festival went back to the usual three-day format in the city, but held in parallel with the festival held in Madrid with similar lineup a week later. The main festival was supported by shows under the Primavera a la Ciutat banner, which took place in various different concert venues and clubs in downtown Barcelona, featuring performances by Pet Shop Boys, Loyle Carner, black midi, The Comet Is Coming and others. The "Welcome Day" was held on 31 May and featured performances by Pet Shop Boys and Jake Bugg, among others. Meanwhile, the closing Brunch on the Beach party was held on 4 June and featured performances by Purple Disco Machine and Diplo, among others.

The Primavera Sound 2024 music festival took place from 30 May to 1 June at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain. The line-up was headlined by Pulp, Vampire Weekend and Justice on Thursday, Lana Del Rey, The National and Disclosure on Friday and SZA, PJ Harvey, Mitski and Charli XCX on Saturday. It was the 22nd edition of the festival. On Wednesday, 29 May, Phoenix headlined the free "Jornada Inaugural" opening day concert on the Amazon Music stage at the Parc del Fòrum. Parc del Fòrum also hosted a "Brunch on the Beach" event on Sunday, 2 June, featuring DJ sets from performers including ANOTR and The Blessed Madonna. Primavera a la Ciutat continued to be held in smaller local venues throughout the city of Barcelona, featuring exclusive performances from groups such as The Chameleons and The Mountain Goats, as well as an intimate performance by The National in the 2,000-capacity Razzmatazz club. Steve Albini, who performed at every Primavera Sound since 2008 with his band Shellac, died weeks before the festival. A stage was renamed after him in his honor. The festival sold 268,000 tickets, an improvement from 2023, with over 130,000 unique visitors from 134 different countries. 59% of attendees came from overseas, and the United States, United Kingdom and Italy were the most represented foreign countries. Amazon Music livestreamed performances from six stages.

Parc del Fòrum (Catalan for Forum Park) is a public park located between the district of Sant Martí in Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs. It was built in 2004 following Elías Torres' and José Antonio Martínez Lapeñas's original design in order to hold the international cultural event Fòrum Universal de les Cultures, celebrated in 2004. It is operated by Ajuntament de Barcelona and Barcelona Serveis Municipals.

Primavera Sound 2025 is a music festival scheduled to take place between 5 June and 7 June 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. It will be the 23rd edition of the festival.

Primavera Sound (popularly also known as Primavera) is an annual music festival held in Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain that takes place between the end of May and beginning of June. The first edition took place in 2001 in Poble Espanyol and moved to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. The nature of the festival (urban and an integrated part of the city) and the wide range of bands represented have made Primavera Sound a meeting point for artists and spectators from all generations. Primavera Sound is one of the largest and most-attended music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean.The success of the festival led to an expansion to Porto in 2012. This one takes place at the Parque da Cidade a week after the main edition. Four new counterparts will be inaugurated in 2022 as new editions are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires and São Paulo. A much smaller version of the festival, Primavera Weekender, has been taking place in Benidorm each November since 2019.The festival presents all genres including pop, indie, rock and the most underground tendencies of electronic and dance music. Pixies, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, The National, Nine Inch Nails, Kendrick Lamar, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Portishead, Pet Shop Boys, Pavement, Echo & The Bunnymen, Lou Reed, My Bloody Valentine, El-P, Pulp, Patti Smith, James Blake, Cat Power, Public Enemy, Grinderman, Franz Ferdinand, Television, Devo, Enrique Morente, The White Stripes, LCD Soundsystem, Tindersticks, PJ Harvey, Shellac, Dinosaur Jr., New Order, Fuck Buttons, Swans, Melvins, Psychic TV, Spiritualized, The Cure, Bon Iver, La Buena Vida, Death Cab For Cutie, Iggy & The Stooges, De La Soul, Marianne Faithfull, Mazzy Star, Blur, Wu-Tang Clan, Phoenix, Radiohead, Animal Collective, Sigur Rós, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Tame Impala amongst many others have performed on its stages. At every edition the event has grown both in terms of numbers and in terms of media exposure: press, radio and television both nationally and internationally. Its first edition in 2001 closed with an attendance of 8,000 people, an audience that by the latest edition in 2019 had become 220,000.

The Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona (in Catalan, Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona; in Spanish, Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Barcelona) is a natural history museum located in Barcelona, Spain.

The Forum Building (Catalan: Edifici Fòrum, IPA: [əðiˈfisi ˈfɔɾum]; Spanish: Edificio Fórum), is an architectural landmark in Barcelona designed by the Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron (Herzog & de Meuron). The building is triangular in shape, measuring 180 metres on each side and 25 metres in height, located within the triangle formed by Diagonal Avenue, Rambla de Prim and the Ronda Litoral. It was the symbol of the controversial 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures and the serious flaws that arose during its construction were widely covered in both the Spanish national and foreign press. The building has become a political bone of contention, with the opposition parties in both Barcelona Council and the Parliament of Catalonia demanding to know why it cost so much (of the order of US $144 m). The building has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 3,200 and an exhibition hall covering nearly 5,000 square metres. Since 2011 the building hosts the Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona (in Catalan, Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona). During its first six years of existence, from 2011 to 2017, this museum was named Museu Blau (Catalan for "Blue Museum") but in 2017, changed its name to Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona.

Diagonal ZeroZero (also Torre Diagonal ZeroZero, Diagonal 00) is a skyscraper in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The building is 110 metres (360 ft) tall with 24 floors. It was designed by Emba Estudi Massip-Bosch arquitectes in Barcelona, founded and led by Enric Massip-Bosch. Diagonal ZeroZero hosts the corporate headquarters in Catalonia of Telefónica Group, as well as its Research and Development Center. The building is built on land owned by the City of Barcelona, was developed by the public agency Consorci de la Zona Franca, and leased to Telefónica Group. Diagonal Zero Zero is an example of high-tech architecture. Its structure, calculated by the engineering firm MC2-Julio Martínez Calzón, was erected in eight months, working in three shifts a day, seven days a week. For a few months there were over 450 workers operating simultaneously on-site. The total construction time, after an initial phase in which works were stopped for few months, amounted to two years until inauguration. The structure of the building is a variation of the tube-in-tube scheme, in which the core (or inner 'tube') is built in concrete, and the perimeter structure (or outer 'tube') is built in steel. This perimeter structure is split in two rings: an interior vertical structure of very slender H pillars (10x10cm in the upper half of the tower, 14x14 cm in the lower half, under the 13th floor hosting the technical floor), placed every 135 cm; and an exterior bracing lattice supporting the torsion and flexing stresses of the tower produced by wind or earthquakes.

Fusion for Energy (F4E) is the body of the European Union (EU) that is responsible for the EU's contribution to the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), the world's largest scientific partnership aiming to demonstrate fusion as a viable and sustainable source of energy. The organisation is officially named European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy and was created under article 45 of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community by the decision of the Council of the European Union on 27 March 2007 for a period of 35 years.F4E counts 450 members of staff. Its seat is located in Barcelona, Spain, and it has offices in Saint-Paul-lès-Durance, France, and Garching, Germany. One of its main tasks is to work together with European industry and research organisations to develop and provide a wide range of high technology components for the ITER project.

Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona is a skyscraper and hotel in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Completed in 2004, has 25 floors and rises 85 metres. It is part of Hilton Hotels. Lies on Passeig del Taulat street 262–264. In the beginning of 2019, the hotel completed an extensive renovation program.

El Maresme | Fòrum is a Barcelona Metro station located between Carrer del Maresme and Rambla de Prim, near the Forum site, in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Spain. It's served by L4 (yellow line), as well as providing a connection with the Trambesòs route T4. It was opened in 2003, even though the section of the tunnel where the station is located has been in use since 1982.

Diagonal Mar i el Front Marítim del Poblenou is a neighborhood in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The area between the seafront, Sant Adrià de Besòs and the Besòs river was previously made up of slums and poor areas surrounding the neighbourhoods of La Mina, El Maresme and Poblenou. Under the new name Diagonal Mar, in reference to its proximity to the sea and Avinguda Diagonal, renovation started taking place in the late 1990s. Still ongoing, this has been one of the most ambitions urban regeneration schemes, and also one of the most controversial and a perceived departure from Barcelona's well-established urban model. The real estate company Hines was in charge of most relevant decisions about urbanism in the area, although it was ESPAIS Promocions Immobiliaries, a local real estate developer, who developed the majority of the residential towers, including Illa de la Llum, Illa del Bosc, Illa del Cell and Illa del Mar. This has been criticised by renowned local architects such as Oriol Bohigas, Juli Capellas or Josep Maria Montaner or urbanism scholar Llàtzer Moix. Most renovation in the area was ready in time for the 2004 Cultural Forum, which took place in the International Convention Centre of Barcelona (CCIB). It includes Catalunya's largest shopping center Centre Comercial Diagonal Mar, as well as Parc de Diagonal Mar, designed by Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue.
