Croz dell'Altissimo

Molveno is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Trento. It is famous for its positioning on Lake Molveno as a holiday destination, its nearby ski resorts (Andalo-Paganella) and its connection to the National Park Adamello Brenta.

Lake Molveno (German: Malfeinsee) is a lake in Trentino, Italy. The only settlement is Molveno, located at the north end of the basin. The lake marks the boundary between the Group of the Brenta Dolomites (Campanile Basso, Croz dell'Altissimo, Sfulmini, Cima Tosa) to the west and the Paganella - Mount Gazza to the south east). In 1952, the lake was drained to allow the construction of collectors and conduits to feed the power plant of S. Massenza. On this occasion a petrified forest submerged at the time of the lake's formation was found on the bed of the lake. The analysis with radiocarbon carried out in the laboratory of nuclear geology of the University of Pisa has established that the formation of Lake Molveno dates back to the early Iron Age. (about 3000 years ago).

Andalo (Àndel in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in north Italy, with some 1,200 inhabitants in 2021. It is the seat of the Comunità di Valle dell'Altopiano della Paganella.

The Brenta Group or Brenta Dolomites (Italian: Dolomiti di Brenta) is a mountain range, and a subrange of the Rhaetian Alps in the Southern Limestone Alps mountain group. They are located in the Province of Trentino, in northeastern Italy. It is the only dolomitic group west of the Adige River. Therefore, geographically, they have not always been considered a part of the Dolomites mountain ranges. Geologically, however, they definitely are - and therefore sometimes called the "Western Dolomites". As part of the Dolomites, the Brenta Group has been officially recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site under the World Heritage Convention.

Crozzon di Brenta (3,135m) is a mountain in the Brenta Group of the Southern Limestone Alps in Trentino, Italy. It has three summits and is the most popular destination for mountaineering in the Brenta Group. It is connected to its parent peak Cima Tosa by a short ridge.

Comano Terme (Comàn in local dialect) is an Italian comune (municipality) of the province of Trentino in northern Italy. It was created on 1 January 2010 by the union of the former comuni of Bleggio Inferiore and Lomaso.

Vezzano (Vezàn in local dialect) was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Trento. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 2,079 and an area of 31.9 square kilometres (12.3 sq mi). It was merged with Terlago and Padergnone on January 1, 2016, to form a new municipality, Vallelaghi. Vezzano borders the following municipalities: Molveno, San Lorenzo in Banale, Trento, Terlago, Padergnone and Calavino.

Cavedago (Ciavedàc or Ciavedài in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 14 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 507 and an area of 10.0 square kilometres (3.9 sq mi).Cavedago borders the following municipalities: Spormaggiore, Fai della Paganella, Molveno, and Andalo.

Vallelaghi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trentino in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It was established on 1 January 2016 by the merger of the municipalities of Padergnone, Terlago and Vezzano.

Padergnone (Padergnón or Padrignón in local dialect) was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Trento. It was merged with Terlago and Vezzano on 1 January 2016, to form a new municipality, Vallelaghi.

Sporminore (Sporpìcol, Sporpìzol or Sporpìciol in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 695 and an area of 17.5 square kilometres (6.8 sq mi).Sporminore borders the following municipalities: Ton, Campodenno and Spormaggiore.

Spormaggiore (Sporgrànt or Spór in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Trento. As of October 2011, it had a population of 1,259 and an area of 30.2 square kilometres (11.7 sq mi).Spormaggiore borders the following municipalities: Tuenno, Ton, Campodenno, Sporminore, Mezzolombardo, Fai della Paganella, Cavedago and Molveno.
