Andalo

Cavedago (Ciavedàc or Ciavedài in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 14 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 507 and an area of 10.0 square kilometres (3.9 sq mi).Cavedago borders the following municipalities: Spormaggiore, Fai della Paganella, Molveno, and Andalo.

Molveno is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Trento. It is famous for its positioning on Lake Molveno as a holiday destination, its nearby ski resorts (Andalo-Paganella) and its connection to the National Park Adamello Brenta.

Lake Molveno (German: Malfeinsee) is a lake in Trentino, Italy. The only settlement is Molveno, located at the north end of the basin. The lake marks the boundary between the Group of the Brenta Dolomites (Campanile Basso, Croz dell'Altissimo, Sfulmini, Cima Tosa) to the west and the Paganella - Mount Gazza to the south east). In 1952, the lake was drained to allow the construction of collectors and conduits to feed the power plant of S. Massenza. On this occasion a petrified forest submerged at the time of the lake's formation was found on the bed of the lake. The analysis with radiocarbon carried out in the laboratory of nuclear geology of the University of Pisa has established that the formation of Lake Molveno dates back to the early Iron Age. (about 3000 years ago).

Paganella is a mountain of the Brenta Group in Trentino, northern Italy. It is located in the territories of the comuni of Fai della Paganella, Andalo, Molveno, Zambana and Terlago. Overlooking Trento from north-west, it consists of a short range/plateau with a highest elevation of 2,125 m (Roda Peak). The slopes above Andalo and Fai are rich in vegetation and also houses several ski resorts, while the other descends towards the Adige river are steeper and rockier.

Croz dell'Altissimo is a mountain in the Brenta group (It.: Dolomiti di Brenta), a subgroup of the Rhaetian Alps in the Italian Region of Trentino-Alto Adige, with a height of 2,339 metres (7,674 ft)). The mountain is mostly known for its imposing South-West face that rises with a straight vertical 900 meters from Val dell Seghe, above Molveno, up to the summit ridge. The mountain has actually two distinct summits, a NW and a SE summit, of which the former is slightly higher but the latter bears the cross. The east and north sides of the mountain are quite easily accessible for hikers.

Fai della Paganella (Fai in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 14 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Trento. In its territory is located the Paganella mountain and ski resort. Fai della Paganella borders the following municipalities: Spormaggiore, Mezzolombardo, Cavedago, Zambana, Andalo and Terlago.

Spormaggiore (Sporgrànt or Spór in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Trento. As of October 2011, it had a population of 1,259 and an area of 30.2 square kilometres (11.7 sq mi).Spormaggiore borders the following municipalities: Tuenno, Ton, Campodenno, Sporminore, Mezzolombardo, Fai della Paganella, Cavedago and Molveno.

Sporminore (Sporpìcol, Sporpìzol or Sporpìciol in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 695 and an area of 17.5 square kilometres (6.8 sq mi).Sporminore borders the following municipalities: Ton, Campodenno and Spormaggiore.

Terlago (Terlác in local dialect) was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 6 kilometres (4 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,571 and an area of 37.0 square kilometres (14.3 sq mi). It was merged with Padergnone and Vezzano on January 1, 2016, to form a new municipality, Vallelaghi. Terlago borders the following municipalities: Fai della Paganella, Molveno, Lavis, Zambana, Andalo, Trento and Vezzano. Terlago's name derives from the Latin trilacum -- "the three lakes"—which refers to nearby Lake Lamar, Lake Terlago, and Lago Santo.

Campodenno (Ciamdadén or Campodén in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,454 and an area of 25.4 square kilometres (9.8 sq mi).It includes the following frazioni (neighborhoods): Dercolo (Dercol), Lover, Quetta (Chèta), and Termon. Campodenno borders the following municipalities: Tuenno, Denno, Ton, Sporminore, and Spormaggiore.

The Avisio is an 89.4-kilometre-long (55.6 mi) Italian stream (a torrente), a left tributary of the Adige, whose course is in Trentino. It rises from Marmolada and runs through the Fascia Valley, the Fiemme Valley and the Cembra Valley before joining the Adige in the town of Lavis, a small town 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Trento.

Vezzano (Vezàn in local dialect) was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Trento. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 2,079 and an area of 31.9 square kilometres (12.3 sq mi). It was merged with Terlago and Padergnone on January 1, 2016, to form a new municipality, Vallelaghi. Vezzano borders the following municipalities: Molveno, San Lorenzo in Banale, Trento, Terlago, Padergnone and Calavino.
