Attica is a fine-dining restaurant in Melbourne, Australia, owned and operated by Ben Shewry. It has won several awards in Australia, and has been included in The World's 50 Best Restaurants since 2010. Its current position on the list places it as the top restaurant in Australia. The restaurant was opened by Dr David Maccora (an emergency doctor at Malvern's Cabrini Hospital) and his wife Helen, in a converted suburban bank building. After two chefs failed to attract sufficient patronage at the restaurant the Maccoras employed Ben Shewry (formerly at St Kilda's Circa) in 2005, giving him full creative control of the menu. In January 2015 the Maccoras sold the restaurant to Shewry.

Balaclava is home to much of Melbourne's Orthodox Jewish Community, consisting of both Hasidim and non-Hasidim (Mitnagdim or Yeshivish) Jews. Within its confines are a number of kosher restaurants and shops that cater to the local and broader Melbourne Haredi communities.

Balaclava railway station is located on the Sandringham line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Balaclava, and opened on 19 December 1859.Balaclava is an elevated station, and is located above the Carlisle Street rail overpass.

Caulfield Grammar School is an independent, co-educational, Anglican, International Baccalaureate, day and boarding school, located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Founded in 1881 as a boys' school, Caulfield Grammar began admitting girls exactly one hundred years later. The school amalgamated with Malvern Memorial Grammar School (MMGS) in 1961, with the MMGS campus becoming Malvern Campus. Ohel Chana is an Orthodox Jewish seminary for women located in Melbourne, Australia. It is part of the Chabad Lubavitch hasidic movement. The center is managed by Rebbetzin Rivkah Groner. The seminary is named after Chana Schneerson, the mother of the last Rebbe of Chabad Lubavitch, Menachem Mendel Schneerson. The center was founded in 1971.

Glen Huntly Road is a main road in Melbourne, Victoria. It starts at Beach Road, Elwood, runs east–west through Elsternwick, Caulfield, Glen Huntly and ends in Carnegie. Glen Huntly Road was named after the emigrant ship Glen Huntley from Greenock, Scotland, which landed in Hobsons Bay in Melbourne on 17 April 1840. Many of its passengers had died from fever and were buried in the St Kilda Cemetery.Glen Huntly Road crosses two railway lines; the Sandringham line at Elsternwick station and the Frankston line at Glenhuntly station. Originally both were crossed by level crossing, however the former was eliminated in a grade separation project in October 1960, with the railway lines lowered below the road and a new station built.Until recently the road was spelt "Glenhuntly Road" until it was officially changed to the present spelling.Elsternwick shopping centre can be found on Glen Huntly Road. It is a strip shopping centre that offers restaurants, fashion outlets and other shops. Tram route 67 traverses Glen Huntly Road from the Nepean Highway to Carnegie. Glenhuntly tram depot is located on Glen Huntly Road.

Beth Rivkah Ladies College or Beth Rivkah Lubavitch is an Orthodox Jewish, comprehensive, primary and secondary day school for girls, located on Balaclava Road, East St Kilda in Melbourne, Australia. Established in 1956 and managed by the Chabad-Lubavitch movement's Yeshivah Centre, it goes from kindergarten to Year 12. Most of its students come from non-Chabad families. Shimon Waronker became the principal in 2020.

The school is run by the Chabad-Lubavitch movement's Yeshivah Centre, and caters for students from kindergarten through to Year 12.

The Electoral district of Ripponlea was an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly located in the Melbourne south-east suburb of Ripponlea, Victoria. It was created in 1955 and abolished in 1967.

Elsternwick Park (currently known by its sponsored name Sportscover Arena) is an Australian rules football and cricket stadium in Brighton, a suburb of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. The name also refers to the wider parkland in which the main oval is located. The ground is the administrative and primary central playing base of the Victorian Amateur Football Association.
