Ghirardelli Square is a landmark public square with shops and restaurants and a 5-star hotel in the Marina area of San Francisco, California. A portion of the area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 as Pioneer Woolen Mills and D. Ghirardelli Company. The square once featured over 40 specialty shops and restaurants. Some of the original shops and restaurants still occupy the square.

Aquatic Park Historic District is a National Historic Landmark and building complex on the San Francisco Bay waterfront within San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park. The district includes a beach, bathhouse, municipal pier, restrooms, concessions stand, stadia, and two speaker towers.

The San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is located in San Francisco, California, United States. The park includes a fleet of historic vessels, a visitor center, a maritime museum, and a library/research facility. The park used to be referred to as the San Francisco Maritime Museum, however the former 1951 name changed in 1978 when the collections were acquired by the National Park Service. Today's San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park was authorized in 1988; the maritime museum is among the park's many cultural resources. The park also incorporates the Aquatic Park Historic District, bounded by Van Ness Avenue, Polk Street, and Hyde Street.

Francisco Park is a public park in the Russian Hill neighborhood in San Francisco, California. It opened on April 27, 2022 and was the largest public park established in the city in over 40 years.

The Buena Vista is a café in San Francisco, California, credited with introducing Irish coffee to the United States in 1952. The Buena Vista Café originally opened in 1916 when the first floor of a boardinghouse was converted into a saloon. The current owners also operate the Trident in Sausalito.

Filbert Street is an east-west street on the north side of San Francisco, California. Its western end is at Lyon Street on the east edge of The Presidio and, spanning eastward, it crosses several large thoroughfares, including Van Ness Avenue and Columbus Avenue, and ends its drivable length at Kearny Street, on Telegraph Hill below Coit Tower. East of Kearny Street, it becomes a series of pedestrian step streets and walkways, with the exception of a small parking area west of Sansome Street. The most notable section of this part of Filbert Street is the Filbert Street Steps, running down the east side of Telegraph Hill. The easternmost length of Filbert Street is a walkway through Levi's Plaza ending at The Embarcadero. The Filbert Street Steps, a step street, descend the east slope of Telegraph Hill along the line where Filbert Street would be if the hill weren't so steep. The steps run through the Grace Marchant Garden, which resident Grace Marchant started in 1949 and is now tended to and paid for by the residents of the "street." From there, the steps run down to an eastern stub of Filbert Street and the walkway through the plaza to The Embarcadero. Many houses in this residential neighborhood are accessible only from the steps. As on paved streets, several fire hydrants and a solitary parking meter are located along the steps. The feral parrots of Telegraph Hill, which were the subject of the 2003 documentary The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill, may often be seen along the Filbert Street steps.

Russian Hill is a high-end neighborhood of San Francisco, California. It is named after one of San Francisco's 44 hills, and one of its original "Seven Hills".

The Dolphin Club, also known as the Dolphin Swimming and Boating Club, is an athletic club in San Francisco, California. It caters to open water swimming, rowing and 4-wall handball. The clubhouse and boat house buildings are owned by the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department and leased to the club. The club had 1,000 members in 2010, and claims 1,500 members today.

The Pumping Station No. 2 of the San Francisco Fire Department Auxiliary Water Supply System was built in 1912. It is located near Fort Mason, at the northern end of Van Ness Avenue and close to the shore of the San Francisco Bay. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The listing included a contributing building and three contributing structures. It is a crucial component of the San Francisco Fire Department Auxiliary Water Supply System, which provided a water-supply system separate from the domestic water supply system.It was designed by City Engineer Marsden Manson and was built by contractor Caldwell & Co.The building is in Mission Revival style, and has large windows (about 12 feet (3.7 m) wide and about 20 feet (6.1 m) from sill to top of arch).

South End Rowing Club is an athletic club and social club in San Francisco, California. The South End Rowing Club, founded in 1873, is one of the oldest athletics clubs in the western United States. The boathouse, with a fleet of 30 boats, is located in San Francisco, California, at 500 Jefferson Street near Fisherman's Wharf, adjacent to the San Francisco Aquatic Park. The club supports participation in rowing, swimming, handball, and running.

Joseph Conrad Square is a small triangular square at Columbus Avenue and Beach Street, near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, California.

C.A. Thayer is a schooner built in 1895 near Eureka, California. The schooner has been preserved and open to the public at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park since 1963. She is one of the last survivors of the sailing schooners in the West coast lumber trade to San Francisco from Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. She was designated a National Historic Landmark on 13 November 1966.
