Northeast Park is a neighborhood in the Northeast community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its boundaries are 18th Avenue NE and New Brighton Boulevard to the north, the city limits to the northeast, Interstate 35W to the southeast, Broadway Street NE to the south, and Central Avenue to the west. The Quarry shopping center is located in this neighborhood. Northeast Athletic Field Park resides in the neighborhood with various baseball fields, soccer fields and playgrounds. In 2018, A new Recreation center was built in the Northeast Athletic Field Park.

The Horatio P. Van Cleve House is a house in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The house contains elements of the Greek Revival and Italianate styles. It was originally built for William Kimball, a furniture manufacturer; the Van Cleves were the second owners. Horatio P. Van Cleve served as colonel of the 2nd Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment and later a general during the American Civil War. His wife, Charlotte Ouisconsin Clark Van Cleve, was the mother of 12 children, a women's suffrage advocate, and the first woman elected to the Minneapolis School Board. She was also a social reformer who founded an organization to help "erring women" in 1875. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The First Congregational Church is a historic church building in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, built in 1886. It is constructed of red sandstone in Gothic-Romanesque style, featuring round-arched windows and semi-circular rows of pews. When initially completed the building was in a residential neighborhood surrounded by mansions of prominent citizens and merchants of the time, including Octavius Broughton, Woodbury Fisk, Thomas Andrews, Horatio P. Van Cleve, William McNair, and John Dudley. Over time the neighborhood changed to a more transient population, dominated by students attending the University of Minnesota. Architect Warren H. Hayes (1847-1899) was Minneapolis' leading designer of churches in the 19th century, having designed the Calvary Baptist Church, Fowler Methodist Episcopal Church, and Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church, as well as the Central Presbyterian Church in Saint Paul.Hubert Humphrey, 38th Vice President of the United States, was a member of this congregation.

St. Anthony East is a neighborhood in the Northeast community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its boundaries are Broadway Street NE to the north, Central Avenue to the east and southeast, 2nd Avenue to the south, 5th Street NE to the southwest, and Washington Street to the west.

The Woodbury Fisk House is a historic house in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, built in 1869. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 for having local significance in the theme of architecture. It was nominated for being the most elaborate example of Italianate architecture—and one of the style's most intact specimens—in the city of Minneapolis.

The Como Congregational Church is a historic church building in the Como neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Opened in 1887 and designed by architect Charles Sumner Sedgwick, a Minneapolis master architect, the church is an example of eclectic Queen Anne style architecture. During its first four decades, the church building is strongly associated with two major Minneapolis and Minnesota historic figures: Maria Sanford, a noted social reformer, speaker and public affairs activist James Elwell, the civic leader, and the public financier associated with the Minneapolis Park System.Como Congregational was Sanford's place of worship (and adjacent to her home), who as a church leader spoke at its pulpit and community meetings with her advocacy of civic reform and Progressive causes.[Note 1] Construction of the building was primarily funded by Elwell, who had founded the surrounding Como neighborhood in 1882, with the intention that the building serve both as an open place of worship and as a community center. Elwell was subsequently active in Como neighborhood and wider social concerns through the church and through the Como Improvement Association (founded by Elwell, based at the Congregational) for the next decades. The building was determined as a Minneapolis historic resource in March 2020.

The B.O. Cutter House is a house in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1856 by master carpenter B.O. Cutter, who was working on other buildings around the University of Minnesota. He built this house on the outskirts of the campus at the time. The house was built in the Carpenter Gothic style with hand-carved molding around the eaves. In 1869, he sold the house to John Gilfillan, who was an educator, regent of the University of Minnesota, banker, attorney, and a U.S. representative in the 49th United States Congress.The house was remodeled in 1943, at which point it was covered in stucco. The interior was remodeled in 1949 to accommodate the Theta Delta Chi fraternity. It was heavily damaged in a 1992 fire, but was restored. It now houses the local chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Logan Park is a neighborhood in the Northeast community in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Midway Contemporary Art is a non-profit arts organization located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its gallery and research library are located in the Sheridan and Marcy Homes neighborhoods of the city, respectively. Both are free and open to the public.

Marcy-Holmes is the first neighborhood of Minneapolis. The majority of the community is residential and sits upon a bluff overlooking the river and the city skyline. However, a small section of the neighborhood along the river is an industrial zone.It is bordered on the south by the Mississippi River, to the east by the University of Minnesota and 15th Avenue SE, to the north by the railroad tracks that separate it from the Como Neighborhood, and to the west by Central Avenue. Although somewhat confusing to newcomers, the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood is considered part of Southeast Minneapolis, despite its seemingly centralized location within the city today. Every street and avenue within the neighborhood is labeled "SE"- South of East Hennepin Avenue and East of the Mississippi River. Entirely within Minneapolis' Ward 3, Marcy-Holmes is represented by City Council member Steve Fletcher. The neighborhood is named after Marcy Park and Holmes Park (themselves named in honor of William L. Marcy and Oliver Wendell Holmes[1]) which are located within the neighborhood. Marcy-Holmes is well known for its diverse community, its commercial districts, St. Anthony Main and Dinkytown, and its immediate proximity to the East Bank of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus.

Mid-City Industrial is a neighborhood in the University community of Minneapolis. It is located in Minneapolis City Council Ward 1, currently represented by Minneapolis City Council member Elliott Payne.

Camden Industrial Area is an official neighborhood in the Camden community of Minneapolis. It is located along the west bank of the Mississippi River and includes several industrial businesses, North Mississippi Regional Park, a few residents, establishments, and other undeveloped space. The neighborhood is located in Minneapolis City Council Ward 4, currently represented by Minneapolis City Council member LaTrisha Vetaw.
