Heavenly Creatures is a wine bar and bottle shop in Portland, Oregon. The restaurant opened in the Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood of northeast Portland in 2022. It has garnered a positive reception and was named one of Portland's ten best new restaurants by The Oregonian in 2023.

Sullivan's Gulch is a neighborhood (north of the gulch of the same name) in the Northeast section of Portland, Oregon. The name commemorates Timothy Sullivan, an early farmer in the area. Sullivan settled his donation land claim on January 27, 1851. He was born in Ireland in 1805, received citizenship in the United States in 1855, and most likely received title to the claim around 1863.The compact, densely populated neighborhood borders the Lloyd District (with which it overlaps somewhat) on the west, Irvington and Grant Park on the north, and Kerns on the south. The gulch extends east from the Willamette River and originally was a forested riparian area featuring a spring-fed pool and waterfalls. During the Great Depression it was home to a "Hooverville" shanty town. Presently the gulch is a major urban transportation corridor, used by the MAX Light Rail system and a Union Pacific rail line, as well as Interstate 84, the Banfield Freeway. A trail north of the Union Pacific tracks (the Sullivan's Gulch Trail) is in planning, but has been held up by its estimated price of $36 million plus land acquisition costs. The first railroad tracks were laid in the gulch in 1882, by the Oregon Railway & Navigation Company, later taken over by Union Pacific, which continues to own the line in the 2020s. The Union Pacific tracks, now used only by freight trains, were also used by passenger trains from 1882–1971 and 1977–1997, lastly by Amtrak's The Pioneer until that train's discontinuation in 1997.

The Frank Silas Doernbecher House is a Tudor-Revival mansion located in Northeast Portland, Oregon, United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was built circa 1903 for Portland businessman Frank S. Doernbecher (1861–1921), who founded the Doernbecher Furniture Company in Tacoma, Washington, and upon moving to Portland in 1900 established the Doernbecher Manufacturing Company. Doernbecher also made a $200,000 donation to build the Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland.

The Frederick Turner Fourplex is a historic apartment building located in Portland, Oregon, United States. Built in 1928 in the Tudor Revival style, it is an outstanding example of Portland architect Roscoe D. Hemenway's (1889–1959) work in period revival styles during the 1920s through the 1950s. Hemenway was well known for designing well-appointed single-family homes, and the Turner Fourplex is one of very few multi-unit residences he produced.The building was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Robert F. Lytle House is a house located in northeast Portland, Oregon, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The architect was David L. Williams. The interior includes stained-glass windows by Povey Brothers Glass Company.

Twisted Croissant is a bakery with two locations in Portland, Oregon. Owner Kurt Goddard began selling pastries at farmers' markets in the Portland metropolitan area before opening the first brick and mortar bakery in northeast Portland's Irvington neighborhood in 2019. A second bakery opened in southeast Portland's Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood.

The Reed–Wells House is a Queen Anne vernacular-style house in northeast Portland, Oregon, USA, that was built in 1905. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.Its first resident was a railroad clerk.

The Boschke–Boyd House is a Tudor Revival style house in Northeast Portland, Oregon. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.It was built around 1910, and is "a fine example of the Tudor/Jacobethan style with Classical interior influences, designed by prominent and prolific architect, Joseph Jacobberger of the firm Jacobberger and Smith."It was deemed significant for its association with William E. Boyd, the owner and general manager of the Benson Hotel in Portland for 36 years, who lived in the house for 28 years.

The James C. and Mary A. Costello House is a historic building located in the Irvington neighborhood Portland, Oregon, United States. Built in 1910, it is an excellent example of the work of prominent architect Joseph Jacobberger at the height of the Arts and Crafts style in Portland residential architecture. During his prolific career Jacobberger contributed greatly to the spread of that style in Portland. James C. Costello was a developer who helped shape Irvington, and chose to locate his own home there.The house was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
