The Hudson Fab was a semiconductor fabrication factory in Hudson, Massachusetts, opened in 1979 by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). For many years it produced some of the most complex integrated circuits in the world, as part of the microVAX and related product lines. It underwent a major upgrade in 1994, but DEC's fortunes were already in decline by this point. In 1997, DEC launched a lawsuit against Intel over the Intel Itanium design, which DEC claimed violated a number of their patents related to HyperThreading. The outcome was that Intel purchased the plant and rights to the DEC's current DEC Alpha and StrongARM designs for $700 million in October 1997. This was part of a wider breakup of DEC being carried out by DEC CEO Robert Palmer, completed in 1998 with the sale of the core of the company to Compaq. Intel operated the factory as Intel Fab 17. They upgraded from 250 to 180 nm in 1999 as part of their Copy Exactly program to keep all of their fabs using identical equipment and allow them to shift production around their factories. It shifted to 130 nm at some later date. The plant was increasingly used to produce runs of specialty products that could use these older methods. It closed in 2014 as the 149-acre (60 ha) site did not have enough room to be rebuilt to use modern systems.

Fort Meadow Reservoir is a 260-acre pond in between the town of Hudson and city of Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States. At its widest point, the pond measures roughly 700 meters (2,300 ft). From end to end, it measures 1.54 miles (2,480 m) long. Amory Maynard, the founder of Maynard, Massachusetts, originally operated a saw mill on the channel leading into Fort Meadow Reservoir before the City of Boston acquired his water rights. The Reservoir lies 250 feet (76.2 m) above sea level.The Fort Meadow Reservoir ends at the borders of Hudson and Marlborough. The pond consists of a primary and secondary basin, separated by a narrows near the center of the two. The primary basin is split into two sections by a road. Two public beaches are located on the secondary basin. Centennial Beach lies on the Hudson side while Memorial Beach lies on the Marlborough side. Motorized boating is allowed, making it a popular local destination for recreation.

Gleasondale is a village straddling the border between the towns of Hudson and Stow in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. It is located along the Assabet River. For many decades it was home to various mills, though it is now primarily residential. According to the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS), Gleasondale is a "populated place" named after Benjamin W. Gleason and Samuel J. Dale.

Hudson Catholic High School (HCHS) was a coeducational Catholic high school in Hudson, Massachusetts, United States. It was within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. The school was founded in 1959. On March 29, 2009, parents and students were told that the high school would close in June, after graduating its fiftieth class. On June 4, 2009, the school officially closed. The former Hudson Catholic High School building was demolished in 2015.

Marlborough Country Club is a private country club open to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States. The club formally opened on June 3, 1922. The feature event was a four-ball best-ball match in which Francis Ouimet and his partner Larry Paton defeated Ed Childs and Parker Schofield. Ouimet played a round in 78.

Rocklawn Cemetery is a historic cemetery on Stevens Street in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Established in 1813 as Chipman Cemetery, it was Marlborough's fifth cemetery. The Rocklawn section of the cemetery was added in 1855, giving the cemetery its present name. This section was laid out in the then-fashionable rural cemetery style, in contrast to the older section, which is laid out in a grid. The cemetery served as a major burying ground for the city from the mid-19th century into the 20th century.The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Randall–Hale Homestead is a historic First Period house at 6 Sudbury Road in Stow, Massachusetts. The oldest portion of this 2+1⁄2-story timber-frame house was built c. 1710, making it one of Stow's oldest buildings. The main block, which is most prominently visible from the street, was enlarged to its present size c. 1760, and the building has had several further additions in the following 200+ years. The house was built by Stephen Randall, one of Stow's first landowners.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Boston Scientific is widely known for the development of the Taxus Stent, a drug-eluting stent which is used to open clogged arteries. With the full acquisition of Cameron Health in June 2012, the company also became notable for offering a minimally invasive implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) which they call the EMBLEM subcutaneous implantable defibrillator (S-ICD).

Hudson is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States, with a total population of 20,092 as of the 2020 census. Before its incorporation as a town in 1866, Hudson was a neighborhood and unincorporated village of Marlborough, Massachusetts, and was known as Feltonville. From around 1850 until the last shoe factory burned down in 1968, Hudson was a mill town specializing in the production of shoes and related products. At one point the town had 17 shoe factories, many of them powered by the Assabet River, which runs through town. The many factories in Hudson attracted immigrants from Canada and Europe. Today most residents are of either Portuguese or Irish descent, with a smaller percentage being of French, Italian, English, or Scotch-Irish descent. While some manufacturing remains in Hudson, the town is now primarily residential. Hudson is served by the Hudson Public Schools district.

The Goodale Homestead is a historic First Period house located at 368 Chestnut Street in Hudson, Massachusetts, United States. The oldest portion of the 2+1⁄2-story timber-frame house dates to 1702, making it the oldest existing building in Hudson. George Francis Dow and John Goodale designed and built the house. It was later home to Goodale's various notable descendants. The house may have been a stop on the Underground Railroad. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
