Handai-byōin-mae Station (阪大病院前駅, Handai-byōin-mae-eki) is a monorail station on the Osaka Monorail located in Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan. The name means the "station in front of Osaka University Hospital."

Kōen-higashiguchi Station (公園東口駅, Kōen-higashiguchi-eki) is a monorail station on the Osaka Monorail located in Suita, Osaka, Japan. It serves as a station for the Expo Commemoration Park.

Osaka University Hospital (大阪大学医学部附属病院, Ōsaka daigaku igakubu fuzoku byōin) is a university hospital located in Suita, Osaka, Japan, affiliated with Osaka University.

The National Museum of Ethnology (国立民族学博物館, Kokuritsu Minzoku-gaku Hakubutsukan) is one of the major museums in Japan. It is Japan's largest research institute in the academic disciplines of humanities and social sciences, which was established in 1974 and opened to the public in 1977. It is built on the former grounds of Expo '70 in Suita, Osaka. The founding collection is known as the Attic Collection, and is an early 20th-century ethnological collection of mainly Japanese materials, including some early finds of Jōmon archaeological artifacts (in the Morse Collection). Further collections were brought together for the opening in 1977 and collecting activities have continued since. The main focus of collection has been film, still images, sound recordings, and objects representing diverse aspects of everyday life, from farming to food, urban life, folk crafts, and religion. Permanent galleries for all large regions of the world display only part of the full collection. Two special exhibitions of approximately three months duration are presented in Spring and Autumn each year, and there are numerous smaller temporary exhibitions on special themes. The museum has a staff of approximately 70 researchers, and actively supports visits by scholars around Japan and abroad. The museum library is one of the largest academic, multiple-language reference libraries in Japan, with books and journal in Japanese, English, Chinese, Spanish, and other languages. The library is linked to a national network of public university libraries. The Museum offers PhD courses in association with Japan's Inter-University of Advanced Graduate Studies (Sōkendai), an inter-institutional organization that provides administration for students placed in public research institutes and laboratories all over Japan. The National Museum of Ethnology is also a founding member of the National Institutes for Humanities (NIHU), Japan.

Expo '70 Commemorative Stadium (万博記念競技場, Banpaku Kinen Kyōgi-jō), a.k.a “Osaka Expo '70 Stadium", is an athletics stadium located in the Expo Commemoration Park, the site of Expo '70, in the city of Suita, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It has a capacity of around about 21,000. The stadium was the home ground of J.League club Gamba Osaka between 1993 and 2015 before the club moved to Suita City Football Stadium. It remains in use as a local athletics venue, rugby and as a home venue for Gamba Osaka's Under-23 team in the J3 League.

The Tower of the Sun (太陽の塔, Taiyō no Tō) is a building created by Japanese artist Tarō Okamoto. It was known as the symbol of Expo '70 and currently is preserved and located in the Expo Commemoration Park in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The tower has three faces on its front and back.

Osaka University (大阪大学, Ōsaka daigaku), abbreviated as Handai (阪大), is a public research university in Osaka, Japan. The university was founded in 1931 as the eighth of the Imperial Universities, with two faculties: science and medicine. Following the post-war educational reform, it merged with three pre-war higher schools, reorganising as a comprehensive university with five faculties: science, medicine, letters, law and economics, and engineering. After the merger with Osaka University of Foreign Studies in 2007, it became the largest national university in Japan by undergraduate enrolment. Although relatively new as a university, it can trace its roots back to Edo-era institutions such as the Tekijuku (founded in 1838) and the Kaitokudo (1724). Osaka University is counted as one of the most productive research institutions in Japan. Numerous prominent scholars and scientists have attended or worked at Osaka University, such as Nobel Laureate in Physics Hideki Yukawa; manga artist Osamu Tezuka; Lasker Award winner Hidesaburō Hanafusa; author Ryōtarō Shiba; and discoverer of regulatory T cells Shimon Sakaguchi.

Redhorse Osaka Wheel is a 123-metre (404 ft) tall, 118.3-metre (388 ft) diameter giant Ferris wheel at Expocity in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.Installed in the Expo Commemoration Park, in the city of Suita. Inaugurated in 2016, it has 72 gondolas. From the gondolas, you can look down at the "Tower of the Sun", symbol of Expo '70.

The Expo Commemoration Park (万博記念公園, Bampaku kinen kōen) or Expo '70 Commemorative Park is a park in Suita, Japan. It is north of Osaka (about 15 km from Umeda). The park is the former site of Expo '70, a World's Fair held between March 15 and September 13, 1970. It is about 264 ha of lawn and forest, and has education and recreation facilities. The National Museum of Ethnology, the Osaka Expo '70 Stadium, and part of the Expoland are in this park. The National Museum of Art used to be here but was moved to Nakanoshima area, Kita-ku, Osaka. The park has the Tower of the Sun, a symbolic landmark of the Expo '70, which has been preserved and repaired a number of times. Some of the materials used or built in the Expo '70 remain.

Expoland, located in Suita, Japan was opened as the amusement zone at the International Exposition in 1970 (Expo '70) in Osaka and thrived for over 30 years as an amusement park. There were more than 40 rides and attractions (including eight roller coasters) and 19 restaurants and shops. The park was permanently closed in 2009. On May 5, 2007, Fujin Raijin II, the park's TOGO stand-up coaster, derailed, killing Yoshino Kogawara, a 19-year-old university student from Higashiomi, Shiga and injuring an additional nineteen guests. Initial reports said that forty people were injured, with thirty-one being taken to hospital. An investigation revealed that the ride derailed due to a broken axle, of which none had been replaced for fifteen years. Following this accident, similar coasters at other Japanese parks were voluntarily shut down and inspected to see if they could also have the same axle flaw. Expoland was cited by authorities for faulty maintenance when similar axle cracks were found on a second train a month later.The park reopened after the accident but closed again on December 9, 2007, citing a lack of attendance. On February 9, 2009, its owners decided to close the park down permanently.

Banpaku-kinen-kōen Station (万博記念公園駅, Banpaku-Kinen-Kōen-eki) is a monorail station on the Osaka Monorail located in Suita, Osaka, Japan. It serves as the station for the Expo Commemoration Park. It is also the transfer station from the Main Line to the Saito Line, acting as the Saito Line terminus.

Daidarasaurus was a steel roller coaster located at Expoland in Suita, Osaka, Japan. According to some sources (i.e. the roller coaster database), Daidarasaurus was the second longest roller coaster in the world, behind Steel Dragon 2000. For reasons explained below, other sources (i.e. the Guinness Book of World Records) did not recognize Daidarasaurus's claim as longest roller coaster in the world from 1999 to 2000. Daidarasaurus has now been demolished as Expoland is now permanently closed.
